Carbatteries Online

The ' Advanced 063XD' that I purchased in December lasted less than 7 weeks before it failed to retain charge. First I knew was when my car failed to start one day – The AA came out and tested the battery and car and found the battery to be faulty. I phoned Carbatteries-online and was met with an obstructive, defensive and plain rude member of staff who said that the AA where a bunch of "cowboys" and "wannabe mechanics" and that it must be my car that was at fault. I emailed Carbatteries-Online with the AA battery test report that showed that the battery was faulty but Carbatteries-Online insisted it was just flat and needed recharging. I subsequently took my car and the faulty battery to a mechanic for further testing whose findings were the same as the AA – it was the battery that was at fault and my car was fine. I only eventually recouped the cost of the battery after going through the PayPal dispute process which took weeks and I am still significantly out of pocket as a result because on top of the AA call out charge I was forced to pay for the return of the faulty battery. Carbatteries-Online trade under various names including 'Advanced Battery Supplies' and should be avoided not only because they supply inferior quality products but have zero manners and an equally lacking level of customer service.

The ABS Heavy Duty battery I bought from Car Batteries Online failed in less than a year. Refund refused.

Rude,Sexist pigs,,do not use this company,,especialy if your a woman.. kept my money and the battery…took ages but today i took my money back straight from their account..!! not so stupid now am I…need a huge lesson in customer service as they have NONE.

Sods law. I was travelling from Stockport to Edinburgh at 4am in the morning. The day before guess what… my battery decided to die on me!

RAC wanted over 拢100 to fit a new battery. Advanced Battery Supplies came and did it for me saving me lots of money in to the bargain.

If you go to their shop in Stockport town centre, they will fit it for FREE! And you even get entertained by their in house commedian Andy. Its a win win.

Only company stocking the higher capacity batteries I was looking for, cost – significantly cheaper and delivered next day. Moreover, when I found I'd ordered the wrong terminal arrangement they replaced the battery for me the very next day AND arranged return of the incorrect one, all without extra cost!!

I ordered a battery from this company yesterday and as I entered my Number Plate at time of ordering, they could check if the battery that I ordered was indeed correct for my car. Within 1 min (literally) of placing my order I received a phone call stating the type of battery the website suggested was the Japanese version and not the UK version of the battery. They asked me to take a photo of my current installed car battery including the details, which I did and texted the photo to a company mobile number and they decided that it was indeed the wrong one that I ordered and they shipped the same battery but the UK version to me with free next day delivery, which I received as promised well before noon.

This is the first time I have ever used this company and of course it's not every day you need a new car battery, but I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future. beyond excellent customer service and super fast delivery, the battery was also well packed!

I couldn't be happier!
