I felt compelled to find these Trustpilot reviews tonight because Diana Priestley has bizarrely directed us to them. Apparently our company has been broadcasting 鈥榙efamations of character鈥?towards her on this website. We are owed a whopping 拢5,220 downpayment from works not undertaken / equipment not delivered; weeks after downpayment and the promised completion date. This sounds to be the same story as everyone else on here, and we鈥檝e now had to proceed with costly legal action to recover our deposits. It was on bark.com that we initially came across the services of Concept Building & Roofing; an apparent alter-ego of Captiv8鈥檚 operations, and were asked by the visiting surveyor to transfer the materials deposit to 鈥榩artner鈥?Diana Priestley. Since that date, Diana Priestley denies any involvement in Concept Roofing鈥檚 unorthodox operations and wishes to press charges against us for defamation of character despite channeling / vanishing 拢5,220 of our money through her personal bank account. She hung up on us during our call tonight which was to offer her one additional day to return our money before solicitors enforced court proceedings.

It seems that vulnerable individuals have been crippled by whatever鈥檚 going on here (some for over a year) so we respect that our headaches of cash-flow & legal fees are inconsequential compared to those who have trustingly outlaid their family money for dream projects, only never to see it again.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I was the original founder of the business. After a very persuasive Adam convinced me to form a building company with a view to me marketing and creating a good online presence. My background is in Graphic design and sales. Adam however was going to jobs under the company name, quoting the jobs to customers directly. He told me that the jobs weren鈥檛 worth doing. Then I found out he was receiving deposits direct to himself. He used my credit card, maxed it out on project that required materials. To this day I鈥檓 trying to get the money back. I parted company with Adam and need people to know I had nothing to do with this man and his scamming ways.

How is this lowlife bottomfeeding waste of skin still operating and not behind bars havin read these other reports????? I am owed over 拢3500 for work on my dads house, my dad who I want to bring out of dementia care into a new annex to live with us. I told him this, and explianed his illness to his face. Adam Craig Priestley is sick as his hi s mother Diana for her involvement. DO NOT hand over upfront payments to him as he will never ever deliver. you must contact the police and get a crime reference, trading standards using citizens Advice, report fraud to your bank account, goto actionfraud.police.uk etc. It will take time but we must all do this to stop him taking our money then drinking it in his local with his mates whilst lieing to us about new problems and holdups everyday. We need to get them both in prison fast.

Same story as the other people except he is now going by the name of Adam Craig.

He took 拢1000 off me while was standing infront of him while taking Oxygen through a nazal Canular.
I am awaiting a Lung Transplant. So yes he will rip any one off. If he is not in Jail I would love to receive the crime number.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!

We hired this company in October 2019 to do our 2 storey extension including re rendering and a new roof. We hired them from mybuilder.com expecting all relevant checks to be done to ensure we were protected. We was wrong! We were approached by Elliott Campbell but Adam Priestley was the one who turned up to give our quote. The two were supposedly business partners. We now know why It was in Elliott鈥檚 name but I will not splash it all over a public forum. Elliott has since parted ways with Adam.

So, Adam came out and gave us a quote, took a deposit (half of the cost!) started work a week later. Did the odd days work here and there from October to December with lots of ridiculous excuses why there were delays, no workmen, no goods delivery etc. We had scaffolding erected, TWICE, and taken away again due to none payment. We received a bill from building control to pay for our building regulations because, shock, Adam hasn鈥檛 paid it (we paid this in our deposit and have a receipt for it) we paid the second instalment of 1000s again on 6th December. We had a few more days of work and then work stopped permanently on 11th December. We have possibly 15% of the works done, a garden that is a health and safety hazard and are 拢1000s out of pocket! We followed every legal step we were advised, issuing Adam with a making time of essence contract giving him 6 weeks to complete the work- we never got a day of work, we then issued him with a termination of contract demanding a refund. We have received nothing back from him. This man is trading under several company names giving himself different names.

We are just one of his many victims. This is now a police and fraud matter and has been reported to all relevant avenues. Trading standards, the police and action fraud. I would urge anyone who has had dealings with this man to report him immediately to all of the above. Feel free to contact me to quote my crime references numbers.

Update: If you have had money stolen by Adam Priestley contact the police. Also contact action fraud and trading standards via consumer advice.

BEWARE! Adam Priestley took 拢1000 deposit from us and after months of ridiculous and frankly quite bizarre excuses (pretending he was in a car accident, broke his ankle, his mum was in hospital, had a virus and his friend died… pretty sick Adam?!) showed up for 40 mins ripped our porch down and never returned right before Christmas. The bizarre behaviour continued with Adam then claiming he had paid our money back to us for weeks and randomly showing up lurking outside the house one evening insisting he is "not a bad guy". We called our bank who in turn froze his account to investigate the fraudulent activity, unsurprising there were insufficient funds to reclaim. We have also reported the company to trading standards via citizens advice.

Shame on you Adam for stealing from hard working people… what an embarrassing, sorry existence you lead.
