My husband's laptop appeared to have died one morning when he went to use it. Couldn't get it to shut down or startup. I was out of town – only had 5 minutes available to try to advise him – ended with "Google is your friend." James at Capitol City Computer Fixx restored a failed hard drive for me, and recovered all of my data, some of which, unfortunately I had not backed up before the drive failed. I was able to pick up the drive the day after I dropped it off. The price was very reasonable. He is very helpful, customer-oriented, and professional. A huge shout out to James at Computer Fixx. Often the consumer is overwhelmed with "jargon" and technical information when simply looking to have a repair taken care of timely. We certainly got timely but in addition good old fashioned quality work. James took time to explain the process and the work. He called with a follow up and made certain we were happy. I had viruses on my computer. These guys took care of it in 1 day. Did a great job. My computer runs faster and is all set up with state of the art protection now. I even had a question a day after I picked it up and they had put a piece of software on my computer so the could get right in and look at what I was seeing. Helped me figure it out and I was back on track in less than 15 minutes.
