Bikes are OK.
But customer service and repair service, dealers are a huge joke.
Bought the bikes (two Topstones) 3 weeks ago, one of the bikes rear dropout got broken and asked to dealer to replace it.. for 2 weeks, there is no part on hand/stock and I can not use 3 weeks old bike for last 2 weeks.
Talked with Cannondale customer support – which is another ridiculous story- didn't helped that much.
I complained about the ETA, they send me an email with the dropouts photo – and said this is the part I need. And I was like "so? how that photo of the part supposed to hep with delayed service for my 3 weeks old bike?"
Like I said, bikes are great (like many other brands), but, after sales services is joke. Don't advise.

My son bought a new Cannondale Topstone Tiagra using the cycle 2 work scheme from a local dealer – 拢1250, early in May 2020.
Day one – first ride – the rear wheel went out of true by about 20mm. on checking at least 8 spokes were loose, checked the front wheel (which hadn't been affected) and 6 of the spokes in that wheel were loose too. It obviously hadn't been prepped.
Took it back to the dealer – they trued up the rear and retensioned the front spokes.
3rd ride out, the chain slipped off the large front chain ring 3 times during a road ride out. when checked the chain ring was warped. Back to the dealers who repaired the ring (by re-bending it back to straight)!!!
5th ride out – lost the chain again on a roundabout – when inspected the chain ring had once again warped. Back to the dealers. The dealer said they needed to put a warranty claim in to Cannondale.
3 weeks later they called to say the bike was ready for pickup. The dealer said Cannondale had rejected the warranty claim (no reason why), but as a good will gesture they had replaced the chain ring.
For perspective the bike has been out at the most 5 times, it's never been on anything other than tarmac or light hard packed trail. It's a gravel bike and should be able to take more than the road use it's had in it's 10-15 hours of use over it's 2 months of life.
Do not buy Cannondale – as per previous posts they dodge / side step / lie / out of hand reject any attempts to get support. The best representation of this is the fact that they do not have any contact details on their "Contact Details" area of their website – instead they refer you to a dealer "we suggest you visit your local bike shop before contacting us at Cannondale directly" – which you can't do because they don't publish an email address or phone number.
Don't waste your time – go for a decent bike manufacturer – one which believes that a bike shouldn't break after 15 hours use, and should be fit for purpose on delivery.

CaadX. International Recall by Cannondale , The original fitted Fork dangerous and life threatening ( at least one death and many others seriously injured as the fork cracks and breaks without warning. Instructions are immediately owners must stop riding their bicycles and return the bike to closest Cannondale stockist for Warranty Replacement . Cannondale will supply the stockist with a Brand New Carbon Fork to be fitted at their expense. What a joke , I鈥檓 being messed around by Cannondale after many many emails . DO NOT buy Cannondale , the Warranty is useless. They obviously don鈥檛 really care about safety if their customers !!!! Now returned with new fork with existing brake cables hanging loose , unbelievable , I give up with them . Stay away from Cannondale and Tredz

I have been a Cannondale rider since 1999 and was a huge fan of the bikes. Unfortunately their customer service sucks! and no great product can make up for that. I have 2018 Scalpel Carbon 3 and in March of this year the CZero rear hub assembly failed. This is a bike that at the time of the failure was less than 18 months old. I did not expect them to cover this under warranty, but I needed help from Cannondale to tell me what parts I needed to replace. It took a long time for them to respond and the response was wrong leading me to buy parts which were not compatible with the bike or with each other. Since then I have been ignored by Cannondale support (emails, calls, Twitter, all ignored).
I understand products fail. Getting the wrong technical information from the manufacturer, and then waiting months to get any type of useful follow up is not excusable.
I cannot recommend Cannondale, and my next bike will be from another company that values its riders.

CAADX FORK RECALL IS A JOKE handed my bike over to my local dealer in Essendon, Melbourne following compulsory recall in November 2019, now March and bike sitting gathering dust awaiting on replacement fork, no date, dealer has no idea and says CANNONDALE will not commit to date, shoddy manufacture, appalling customer service, reputation of CANNONDALE is now in the gutter, I will never buy a CANNONDALE product again.

I bought a very basic super lightweight aluminum mountain bike from them 15 years ago (no shocks or fancy stuff). I am still using it and it is still a fantastic bike.

I bought a contro 4 about 2 years ago, within days the brakes were squealing horrendously, after numerous visits to the shop I purchased it from (a fairly long trip), and having to endure accusations of it being my fault, the calipers were replaced and upgraded under warranty, they'd been leaking from day 1, putting me at great risk. This took 12 months to achieve, always trying to blame me. In the meantime, the bottom bracket had collapsed, and replaced under warranty straight away, fair enough, but with one of a totally inappropriate colour, I refused to accept my machine until it was changed again. After 15 months, the spokes in the rear wheel started snapping, and after the 7th I contacted Evan's cycles and Cannondale to see if there was any issues, I was told no, and they both recommended a complete rebuild of the wheel at my expense. I own, and have owned, many quality cycles, and none have ever caused me anything like this level of grief, its understandable for a 拢99 bouncer from Argos, but this is supposed to be a quality manufacturer, this machine had an RRP of over 拢800, the build quality and the components used have shamed the good name of cannondale, as has the company's"couldnt care less" attitude, never again….

I was contacted in August by Cannondale informing me to stop using my CAADX because of a manufacturing fault with the forks. I was informed by my local bike store replacement forks wouldn鈥檛 be available for 6 months ! 3 months later and several emails to Cannondale chasing up a date for repair/ replacement and I haven鈥檛 any feedback. I鈥檝e been without a bike for 4 months

1500euro cannondale caadx se, worst bike ever. the shop I bough it from is locata quite far away, so I don't have the option to drop it over whenever I need to, despite the bike having a 1yr warranty.
1. problem – brakes, I had to have them serviced just after a month and very light use. A month later, they're eff-d again. Never worked properly. The service man, of course, blamed me and said they had to replace the breakpads – after just a month and super light use?
2. the gears – whenever I was on the top gear, it was skipping. I had to serviced twice. on my way home from the bice shop it was skipping again. so 3rd time, of couse, I was to blame that I use the gear too much. so they replaced not the casette, just the smal cogwheel. But after a month, same issue happend again.
I'm working most of the time, and can't pop by the bike shop every week. But also don't understand, how can a new bike (purchased in Aprli) have so many issues.
If it was not under a warranty, i would've cost me 100s of euros already – a new bike.
Avoid! Never buy a cannondale!

Just bought my first bike from Cannondale, and I must say it is fantastic. I bought a trail 4 and it is perfect for what I need. The gears are awesome and the bike is very fast. For the price you won't beat this bike.
The only problem is when I had a problem with what seems to be the bearings in the rear wheel, I was told it's not under guarantee. It seems only the frame has some sort of guarantee. Which is a shame as I really like the bike but now won't recommend it to others.

I still have my Cannondale road bike 2.8 which I bought in 1990. It is like new, fast and light. They make superior products and stand behind them. Their site is safe to use and fun. RIDE ON!
