"Dear Ira,
My name is Zack and I am the operation manager at Candles4less. I thank you very much for bringing this matter into our attention.
Our company is based in San Diego, California. In our facility we use recycled cartons to ship our orders. Last year we purchased a cardboard shredders to turn our unusable cardboards into recyclable packing material. This way we have minimize to outsource our packaging material.
This year we partnered with a third party fulfillment center in Pennsylvania to provide faster service to our east coast customers. This facility stores and ships our products. This is the first time we are experiencing a problem like this because they always use recycled paper to fulfill our shipments.
I have checked the details of your order and I was surprised that they shipped your order in a 19x12x11 inch size package. This order was supposed to ship in a 10x10x10 inch size box with recycled paper.
Shipping this order in a large box like this is waste of packing materials and due to Fedex dimension size pricing, it cost us more.
I did forward your email to the shipping manager at that facility. I will follow up with them first thing in the morning.
I really appreciate your concerns about the environment. Please rest assured that this will not happen again.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if you have any other concerns or recommendations.
Best regards,
Zack Prieto"
