CANADA POST !!!! There is not a number low enough as they are worse than zero. For this being a crown corp. it is sad that it is operated so poorly: There is no accountability on job performance. The Strathroy Branch just reeks of poor management… A parcel can ship from Montreal to Strathroy in 2 days but it takes 5..6 DAYS to ship in Strathroy. I WILL NEVER USE CANADA POST again.

Registered international mail… not worth the paper it's written on. Completely useless across the board… appears to be the case with all service providers. No recourse…
Better off using electronic options when you can.

Every time Canada post delivers any package for me, it鈥檚 the worst experience!! For example I ordered something, and as it turns out it came all the way from Denmark well DHL had it here in Montreal in 3 DAYS !!! Amazing!!
Canada post Expedited ( I pay more for this) from Vancouver to Montr茅al is an estimated 6 business days, but you watch it鈥檒l be 2 weeks. Funny thing with Canada post you pay more for express shipping it鈥檚 slower than their regular. They always make me nervous, I don鈥檛 trust them in any way shape or form. But hey maybe they鈥檒l surprise me this time 馃

If your fetish is for a courrier to lose your parcel, look no further! Guaranteed satisfaction, or your money not back. Yes they will stall, and stall and make you wait and wait. Heck I鈥檓 still waiting for refunds on two parcels. Very expensive products, that I鈥檓 convinced the delivery person stole. Either way, stolen or lost due to mind boggling incompetence. Canada post is by far the worst courrier Canada has to offer, despite being a crown corporation.

Bad Form Canada Post, I cant believe after only from 9am until about 1.04pm without one call that I've been requesting now for 3 days they just send you an Email saiying they have closed your Service Ticket.
How does that work, so now the Parcel I actually bought for my son because he will be doing High School from Home is now what???
Gone??
I also informed them at 9am that I was contacting the Police for Theft Aviously, so waiting for a call back.
I actually was putting the Garbage out about 8.30am and there was a COP walking our side of the street , so he stopped and asked me about some dude they were chasing.
The older couple across the street said the Guy ran inbetween my place and the neighbors on my side. Which means he hit the park and off he went.
Anyways so he said he would come back or I could just call, so I did and I'm waiting..
For what, not sure??? WOW

I can't believe this corporation is actually ran by real, living, breathing human beings. A literal band of circus monkeys on tricycles could deliver faster and more reliably than these double-digit IQ mouth breathing, drooling neanderthals. My package arrived to my home city in a matter of 2 days and remains just sitting at the local post office. No est. delivery date or time whatsoever just left in the dark… Upon contacting customer service you get a true taste for how useless someone can truly be but not before you wait the half hour queue time to talk to a literal dog. This company is a disgrace to Canada and triple digit IQ beings as well. This establishment is about as useful as a pile of cow tu*d set ablaze. The company deserves to come crashing down and remain as a pile of dust rubble just to remind us how awful a human creation could be. Utter diarrhea stain of a company and disgrace to humanity, good riddance you dogs.

To the other posters on here, I feel your anger and frustration, I am posting on here for the same reasons. CP has the ability to completely cut off it's customers and seem utterly untouchable and unaccountable for their capitalistic, fraudulent ways. Take heart, a class action lawsuit has finally been filed against these thieves. I had to modify the link but just google it if interested, they are seeking 400$ in compensation for anyone who paid for a guaranteed delivery date (Expedited) that was not met. They are committing fraud by continuing to offer and charge for services they aren't providing. CP are failing to take the necessary steps to notify customers of their suspension of guaranteed delivery dates and continue to offer the premium services. lambertavocatinc/class-action-canada-post

Totally incompetent company. Incompetent customer service team.
Trash, garbage company.
Sent a REGISTERED envelope in Vancouver LOCALLY and it took them 2 months to confirm to me they lost it.
REFUSED to help – customer service team were rude and would hang up on me with out progressing my complaint.
STAY AWAY – use any other private postal service even if you have to pay a little more

Do your job if you are able to do it. On the contrary, quit it
It's funny to hear the excuse of the pandemic situation to offer a ridiculous service…
On June 10th I purchased my item on Amazon.com from the US, and it arrived via PitneyBowes to CanadaPost facility in Mississauga in less than 4 days!
Wait! No pandemic problem for them?! It's very strange…
Since June 15th (with cleared customs) my item has been stuck somewhere at their facility, and it's still marked as "In transit" with "date pending".
They want neither to deliver it, nor allow me to pick it up in person!
And in this absurd situation, I spent money to have nothing in my hands!
If you are not able to handle your job when difficulties appear, quit it and look for something different on Indeed.ca or Jobbank.gc.ca.

[UPDATE – Sunday June 28th, 4:15 pm]
What a funny story!
My cousin, who lives with me at the same address, has ordered an item on Friday, so two days ago.
Today, a few minutes ago, he received a CanadaPost email saying his item has been delivered!
Are you joking?!?!?!

[UPDATE – Sunday June 28th, 9:19 pm]
Now you're using the pathetic excuse of the pandemic situation.
But in the 2017 what did you use as an excuse?
Folks, google "calgary canada post delay 2017"…
Do you know what's the truth? That, as I said before, you should look for a different job position because you are not fit to be in this kind of business!
Shame you!

[UPDATE – Wednesday July 1st, 10:07 pm]
On Amazon it has appeared a new delay date: July 2nd-9th…
You are the worst thing that could ever happen, much worse than covid, or ebola, or any other $h*t like these ones.
I hope you fail as soon as possible.

Never again will I go through Canada Post to ship anything and Il make sure that friends and family know the severity of how crooked and flawed your system really is.

What's the point of charging express shipping when regardless of shipping method it's not going to come for 1 – 2 weeks after the expected delivery day… Every single time I receive a package through Canada Post it's an issue.

I asked my my home postman the other day when he was delivering ..is anyone delivering packages out of our post office in Grimsby. This is March 31st by the way, I said I am asking because I have a package that was sent to me within Ontario 6 days ago and have yet to receive. Was supposed to be a 2 day, paid extra for that. I guess your short staffed and with the Covid 19 deal and that the post office is running behind a bit maybe, I get it and understand if thats whats slowing it down. He said clearly and quickly "absolutely not" . Every single employee is working and due to Covid 19 they have no back log of packages whatsoever that I know of . Actually its down due to people not buying products as much. I said I paid expresspost for a 2 day service and he said you should have got it long ago for sure if you paid for 2-3 day delivery. The app is useless due to the fact it keeps changing dates day after day with the same expected date of delivery being a week ago earlier. This item says now its been processesed in Stoney Creek yesterday finally…and still being processed again today ..its been sitting there for almost 2 days. I ordered an item from Walmart last Thursday morning from my computer and got it Friday morning by UPS !!!!. Fedex trucks and Purolator trucks and Amazon delivery people have been up and down my street 2 to 3 times a day for over a week and no sign of Canada Post. They need to stop selling you on the extra $ to get your package within a certain time frame when they cant possibly commit in getting it there altogether, let alone early. I recommend that no one use this terrible service, use Fedex, UPS anyone other than them. Just a reminder like the Postman said this has nothing to do with Covid 19 and it was mailed within Ontario to be delivered in Ontario..8 agonizing day ..7 days late so far. So…going into day 8 tomorrow with no were in site of when I may see this package delivered. If I could give this review a 0 I would but there was no option. Never again will I use such a horrendous delivery service. They need to go back to the drawing board and rework their entire delivery system as the one they have now just does not work and asking customers to pay extra for better service when they cant deliver that service is just gouging and ripping off the consumer. Hopefully down the road better days for Canada Post as of now they are just a disorganized mess! Good Luck. You couldnt get me to use their service again if it was tottaly " FREE"

I've had to call the post office in Saint Denis de Brompton Qc, on a couple of occasions. I have rarely spoken to a more rude, impolite person. If Canada Post can't find more polite personnel maybe they should look into an automated service. Very disappointed with the service I received. Once a person could be having a bad day. 2 or 3 times you are just a miserable individual and should seek employment where you don't have to speak to people.

I took my 91 year old father to Canada post to verify in person that it was him who required mail forwarding. I had paid a week prior online for mail forwarding service but was required to take him in person which I did today. My dad provided his Canadian citizenship card which has picture ID as proof that it was him. The person behind the desk said: "no this is not acceptable. Bring passport". I asked why as my dad himself was standing in front of him, with picture ID in hand. The rude man just said no, bring passport.
The government of Canada permits people to become citizens of Canada but Canada Post does not accept that! Really! Has anyone told Canada post that to be eligible to get a Canadian passport, you FIRST need to become a citizen? This truly is appalling. Not only was my elderly parent made to feel useless but Canadian issued picture ID isn't good enough for canada post. My payment online for mail forwarding service was taken immediately a week ago…. now we just don't have service for which we paid for. Oh and good luck trying to file a complaint.

When is the Canadian Government either going to crack down on Canada Post inefficiencies.
I just ordered an item from a Toronto supplier that was shipped July 23rd to Brandon Mb. As I needed the item by July 27th I was advised to pay $17.00 and change and ship by Canada Post Express Post as delivery was guaranteed in two days, which incidentally is stated on the
C. P. Website. Then C. P. Sent me a notice that parcel had been picked up and supplied a tracking number. Upon tracking I was advised
That estimated delivery date was Monday July 30th !!! Or 7 days from the time parcel was received by C.P… not the guaranteed two day delivery. This is the second time I have paid for Express Post and had it take many more days than the C.P. guarantee. I note many, many complaints on line yet the rot at C.P. continues.
Conclusion: don鈥檛 pay for Express Post from a supplier if you need the item in a hurry. Specify and pay for a good courier service. Canada Post Express Post falls under the category of Fraudulent Scams

Canada post just gave me the worst postal experience I have ever had. They take no responsibility for their mistakes and their employees seem to indifferent to their job. I got to wait over a week of them trying to blame me for having the wrong address when i did not and them telling me they would try to deliver it again when they did not. Walking a couple miles to get your parcel is a much better option. Or just go with any other courier if possible.

Canada Post has ALWAYS gotten me my parcels and I've never actually lost an item (though, one item did have a YEAR long journey).
In my part of Toronto (M4J1C4) they nearly always deliver on the first attempt, and, if the first attempt isn't successful they have it available for pick up at at the local Shoppers within a few hours–only a 10 minute walk. This compares very favourably with my experience with Purolator and even DHL (who are themselves substantially better than Purolator).
And, even "lost" mail comes back (and, I got a refund on the S/H and the insurance). Once I sent a letter to an east African country "registered". The letter disappeared, but, we now know that it sat, unclaimed for 10 months in a tropical post office before being returned to Canada (I will even give their local post office credit for returning the letter, eventually). Needless to say I never did business with the company that failed to claim the letter.
