Basically you get what you pay for, and if it's on groupon then probably it's because no customer would want to come back. I ordered a groupon voucher, 30min massage. The therapist was 10min late, and my massage lasted only 20min. I don't regret that it was shorter than what it was supposed to be, as I was TOTALLY GROSSED OUT. The towel I was laying on was sweaty and smelly, I could not believe I was laying on a dirty towel that a bunch of other people were laying on as well. The room was very tiny as it was temp rent out, and the ''masseur'' said she works 50h a week. Of course she's not gonna bother with towels! The massage itself was very shallow, I could tell it was just something she was trying to get over with asap. I don't recommend it at all.

I had seen an offer on groupon so contacted cam thyme therapies direct to ask if there was restrictions on when the offer could be used. I was told I could book direct with them rather than go through groupon. After several emails trying to arrange a date we finally agreed on 13th June at 11am (5 weeks later). So I turned up for my full body massage, really looking forward to and desperately needing some relaxing 'me' time. 11.05 came and I still hadn't been seen so the receptionist went to see where the beauty therapist was. She then came down saying she had no knowledge of my booking. Automatically she started to blame groupon as they had oversold the offer, I told her I hadn't bought through them as she had told me just to book direct (obviously to save herself some pennies!). She asked how I contacted her and I showed her the email thread of my booking, she then said that there must have been a fault with her emails so she probably didn't receive them but I showed her the one where she confirmed I was booked in for 11am but if I preferred 10 to let her know. She then said it was my fault as I hadn't let her know 11 suited even though the email said 'let me know if you would prefer 10' nothing about confirming for 11. I then said 'so I've wasted my morning for nothing' to which she replied 'yes!!' Then said because I was on the first 3 days of my period I wouldn't be getting massaged anyway!! Even though there is absolutely NOTHING in her website stating such a thing. When I left the building, in floods of tears I checked through my emails again and found an email I had sent to her saying 11am was perfect and asking to confirm whether she wanted me to pay up front or on the day to which she replied 'on the day would be fine'. She was desperately trying to put all the blame on anybody except herself, whether it be groupon, the email system or me. If she had put her hands up and said 'I'm so sorry I seem to have double booked' then I wouldn't have been so angry. I've got 2 small children under the age of 5 and I NEVER take any time to do anything for myself, I'm always running about after other people so I was so upset today that I had looked forward to doing something for someone to then make me seem like a fool for trying to put the blame on me for their mistake. She didn't even have the decency to reply to my email of complaint this afternoon. STAY AWAY FROM CAM THYME THERAPIES!!
