There was a clear manufacturing or transportation damage to the tire. Camskill over the phone immediately blamed everyone, but them. They decided they can argue about who pays the postage for the faulty item, and once challenged by Consumer acts and Trading Standards gave in, and changed their story. Tried to tell me, that since I am VAT registered I don't have any rights as normal consumer.

However they made unrealistic quote for the postage back, and told me I will have to pay it, if they find that the tire was damaged by someone else.

I had a very weak case, where I had little proof of the fact that the tire was damaged when it came like that, and couldn't afford to waste my time, money or nerves over 50 quid tyre. Neither did the money I would spend on postage, or application to small court worth it. I gave in..

Went and bought one elsewhere, and after leaving this review I am not planning to use their services in the future.

Brian in customer services decided his 17 years in the company and vast experience is very much outweighs all the arguments, photographs and facts. He came up with a solution on who it is to blame, not hearing the story, nor seeing the photos.

Nothing personal just business. I would not trust that company again. Luckily the financial damage was small.

Delivery on time and tyres as expected. Very good price. Excellent service, well done!

Have used Camskill a few times and found the service and communication to be excellent.
They do tyres at great prices.
They deliver really quick but it is just the little things like the detail in the communication either on email or on the phone that sets these guys apart from the rest.
Once again a very happy customer.

Excellent experience on three separate orders. All delivered in good time and prices and communication were good.

They try to tell you that you have to have manufactures recommended tyres, even though I wanted a better tyre for my car, quite simply you don't have to use manufactures recommended tyres, you can put what brand of tyre you want on your car, I have now checked this with Insurance companies and tyre manufactures.
They should know better!!!
However their prices are keen.

They apparently can't be beaten on price asked them to price match on their website about 3 weeks ago with no reply so called and asked about it and siad they couldnt compete with the price and didnt seemed bothered so crap custmer service and a list sale. Great way to run a business ?

Ordered X4 235/70R16 Cooper AT3 tyres. Very clear website made selection simple and straight forward. Quick e-mail response on state of tyres, ie payment made, processed, tyre being loaded, delivery will be by company on date, tracking info.
Tyre were as described, well wrapped in polythene wrapping ensuring tyres were clean and no dirt / water inside the tyre.
Totally happy with the whole experience and fully recommend this company.
