We also cancelled due to Corona and have lost our deposit of roughly 1.050 euro. We cancelled 7 weeks before arrival and agreed per telephone that 70% of our deposit would be refunded. Else we would have cancelled only a month before arrival.
The refund never came, despite what we agreed. The feedback is that the deposit in total is not reimbursed and they point to the general terms. Absolutely a shame!
I completely understand that Campsites do suffer from Corona. But it is absolutely disappointing and a shame to see how Sandaya treats its guests.
Sandaya states to be a premium service provider but in reality they act even worse than what we have seen from low budget travel agencies. The low budget travel agencies are even willing to provide a voucher in return for a deposit made. Both our fair share of the Corona crisis we suffer from,….but not Sandaya! Shame!
For us no more Sandaya! We certainly will spread these words.
PS for Dutch people: Sandaya is NOT a member of ANVR / SGR which would protect you in case of such issues. Another reason for Dutch people to not book at Sandaya!

We were requested to add the preferred location number for the mobile home of our choice, but when I consulted the plan of the camp site I could not find any location numbers, they were simply not included in the plan.
Besides this one, I did not face any other difficulties during booking.

I disliked the booking procedure. The first issue is that on the website of the camping itself, Les Alicourts, it was unclear that this camping has been taken over by Sandaya. I found out by coincidence that Sandaya took over Les Alicourts, so that I needed to go to the Sandaya website to book now. Then on the site of Sandaya I found it unclear that the website was also just in Dutch; sandaya.nl. Now when booking I paid using a QR code on the screen. When you pay using this QR code, Sandaya does not actually register your booking. Or actually it does register it but you do not get any kind of confirmation other than a confirmation of the payment that has been received. This is some kind of bug when paying via the QR code; obviously you should get a confirmation of your booking. Now the next day you actually do get that confirmation. That's fine, but the whole processes should be much clearer and you should not be left in the dark with the status of your booking.

Booking went perfectly including the acknowledgement. Minus points are the fact that I was promised to get a call back on a question I had but never got it…..!

Communication very slow.
Camp map usage for reservation inadequate. Cannot see campsite numbers although there is a payable option to make a reservation for a specific pitch. Makes it almost impossible to use.

It is quiet hard to get in touch about available pitches. We sended an email 2 weeks ago, after having contact through telephone with the general telefonist. We did not get a reply.
Now they told us that in case we did a booking we would be called back to talk over the available pitches. So we booked and payed a extra 30 euro. We only got a general email in stead of being called.
So not saticified about the reservation procedure.
It would make things easier if the camping map had numbers on the pitches and if you could see which numbers were available…
Working phonelines and answering emails would help too….

Easy website with direct the right info to book.
Boooking process, including the pre payment, was fast and easy.
Also the confirmation of the booking (direct) and the feedback from the Camping (within 24 hours) is good.

Our booking runs good and help full assist from the backoffice. So we book our cottage for this Sommer. By Sandaya Campings.
