I've never written a review here before, but I felt compelled to do so for this company because I had such an awful experience. All I wanted was a VoIP number for another country. They overcharged up front, for a service that was very different from what was advertised. I spent hours talking to customer service with almost nothing in return. If you need any more proof that this company is a scam, all the positive reviews on this website and on Google's app store are obvious bots.

I used the service in June 2020, Jayesh (support team) promised that they would develop the necessary functionality for me if I make a deposit of $ 400 to my account. At the same time, I was told that I can refund my money at any time if the functionality is not done. After 3 months, the functionality did not appear, and now, in response to my request for a refund, they are asked to tell again what I need to develop. To wait another year?! I asked for a refund 2 times, both times I was ignored. I strongly advise against working with them.

Disgraceful behavior. Received a telephone call from Jayesh from CallHippo at 04:10am in the morning, then again at 05:00 am. I explained that he had woken up my family and that it was early hours in the UK. To my surprise he said "is this not a good time to talk then?" Biting my lip I politely asked that they do not call me again.

So bad service! When I finish the payment, I wanted the refund at once, they refused me. They told me to read their terms.

However, I did not use their service, it shows in the terms "By using the Service, You agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU CANNOT USE THE SERVICES. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND IT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS."

I asked them why I need to agree with it, I did not use their service. They told me that they need to ask the team members, but several minutes later, they told me that they cannot refund because I had agreed with the term when I make purchase. Haha, they always explain everything they like.

Also, their service lady called me serval time, I cannot hear anything, it shocked me, you can guess how bad their call service is!!!!

Everyone who wants to order this service, please stop!!!

By the way their serice lady visited my site and was rude with my colleague. I have the screen shots.

Not reliable and bad voice quality so you can't trust it for important calls. iPhone app lacks a lot of usability and there are bugs.

I fell in love with the interface, and i signed up quickly. The Rep told me after signing up, to put $100 toward minutes, but i was under the impression that at least minutes are included. But you need to pay that as extra, yup! very confusing. So inside the interface, you have the workspace, and it shows many options that come in handy for business companies. So i literally called my new number, and i just hanged up quickly and it wasted $0.04 for no use literally.

I found new service by another company, which I wont name because I'm not writing this for promotion purposes my thing is, I want a service that charges you a premium and they give you unlimited out-going/incoming minutes, with the ability to add additional phone numbers at a reasonable price, and i found it.

I've tried to cancel my account, but even the cancellation has its hidden secrets. I followed the cancellation process, but it only brings up their email, and then you have to use the email you used to open the account and nothing else. So submitted the email, and now I find myself asking how long it takes to cancel it, because many complain of weird charges, and i'm trying to cancel, but they keep saying that it takes 3 teams to cancel an account. Riggghht!!!

I'm not sure how this service was going to work, but it looked, is and will be expensive in the long run.

Very poor support. Do not answer support lines. Quick to sign up but then their requirements are onerous to validate a number. They do not read their emails and I am battling to get a refund even though the service is not active.

I cannot even get an account without a working website. Ridiculous. I have a working email hosted through a registered domain, but our company doesn't require a website so we dont have one. Unless your domain is linked to a nice pretty picture on a web page dont even bother trying.

Do Not Use CallHippo

Hi. My experience with CallHippo was terrible. I wish I never used this company in the first place. I requested to cancel before the monthly charge and I was still charged.

I do not feel confident in their communication because I feel that their team members have no idea what is going on.

At times, I feel bad for the impatient responses that I have left CallHippo because I have had to wait for a full week to get back to them. I appreciate the help that their manager gives and while I was paying for CallHippo, I felt that their manager was trying the best they could to deliver the message across the team.

However, my last statement still stands, they have poor communication with their team members and it leads me to believe that nothing is being done about the support that I'm going after.

One example is the time I was trying to port my number into CallHippo. It took me about 2-3 weeks to port the number and there was a constant miscommunication with what they had for instructions. I told them I wanted to 'port out' a number into CallHippo and somehow the message didn't come across well enough. Even with the instructions they had to execute this action.

And now, I'm waiting on $90 dollars refund from CallHippo because I cancelled their service. They also removed the phone number for which I had for direct mail (Every Door Direct Mail) and now I can't recover the number anymore.

Do not use CallHippo because their communication skills do not make me feel comfortable with the service that I am getting.

Steer clear from the service at all costs. I attempted to change my credit card information because I didn't hear from them for a week and a half on cancelling the service.

When signed up it was immediately clear that the delivery was not as promised.
Then support promised me it would work but turned out that wasn't the case either.
I asked for a refund immediately.
They stalked me for 6 days with offers and discounts. I kept on asking a refund during those days.
After 6 days they tell me they don't refund.
Never been so disappointed before!

Buyer beware. They promise that you will get this, this and this. And then you pay. And THEN, you don't get a line. Tried for 3 days to get it. Then talked to a rep who said I could get cancel and get a refund. Then after I cancel, they said they would NOT refund. I've contacted my credit card company and will be contacting the FCC about this company. THEY ARE A SCAM.

I discussed our requirement with their sales person and asked if there is anything which you would like to tell me about services, policies or charges, he said no, nothing is hidden. I paid for one user as a trial and created user, they consider it 2 user. Their explanation is that admin is also a user and can make call. Why we would allow an agent to use admin panel ? I cancelled account within one hour of subscription but meanwhile they charged $40 and $39.99 on my card. I was surprised to see 2 charges. I asked them to refund, they told me they do not have refund policy. Now I have filled charge back. I will get refund through my bank because it is abnormal in US to charge a client account if no services are provided.

I advice you guys do not get into their trap. They are cheaters.

The buggiest program I have ever had the displeasure of using. I asked for a refund because I realised my mistake one day in to signing up and they refused my refund.

DO NOT even bother trying these guys out, the plans may look cheap but they do not include calls.

Reviewed tool, spoke to a sales/specialist. Recieved a demo to go thru feature benefits and pricing. I then Purchased the silver package on 8/5 at 10amEDT. Then the sales person reach out and reminded me that if i want a dialer it is only available Platinum package. I asked how can i upgrade. he said pay for the platinum and you will only be charged the difference. Not once did the sales/specialist mentioned that you will need to pay for your calls in addition to the monthly fee. I purchased the platinum package. Was charged, 24+31+25. Recieve a prompt onboarding call, we walk thru setting up my team with access, and uploading our campaign. Campaign didnt work. Sent an email to the support team and onboarding at 1pm 8/5/2020 I requested a refund of service not delivered. They have been sending me auto generated templated email saying we have been trying to reach you but you are unavailable. all the while i have all the emails that showed my responsiveness via email. they have yet to issue an refund i am email as many people as i need to because this was by far one of the worse experience to date.

The application runs poorly, the technical support is unable to answer the most basic of questions and the charges increase without any warning. Stay away as it takes a ton of effort to get in touch with these people and cancel the service.

I have a global business i required 5 numbers from them process was too smooth they themselves gave me a demo over web meeting their dasboard is so informative, productive and yet too easy to use. I can keep tracks of everything going on in the organization it is so flecible to listen to any calls by any team-member, the most attractive part is the pricing, the prices are fairly reasonable i would go as far to say that the prices are lowest according to the service quality. I am so happy being their customer, my sales have been improved or increased to atleast 20% annually after using them. I recommend it to everyone.
