Customer service is basically non-existent at Caliroots.
On top of everything, I also had an issue with my invoice.
I ordered a bunch of stuff using one of their promo codes for 30% off. The code shows up in my invoice under each item. So it was obviously applied, but the prices for the products I bought did not change. (So the code shows up under each item but the amount that is reduced always says 0鈧? So there was no reduction in price at all!)
Tried explaining this to customer service but I always get the same standadized (non-)replys.
Definitely my last time buying from them!

I contacted them and their employee Sara was rude and not helpful at all.
At first she refused to do anything to help me. Later on she contacted the delivery Company, and kept saying they would only refund me if the delivery Company admitted to blame.
After over a month they reply that they did not see any error on their part and will therefore close the case.
Apparently customer service is not their cop of tea. I would strongly advice anyone to stay away from this Company.

– It might be because you have a seperate email for cancellations, which to me seems pretty unnecessary, and also downright confusing and almost abusive. Abusive in the meaning that I was unable to find anywhere on your site where it states you shouldn't send a mail to the account which sent you your order confirmation, but another seperate email account.
I don't demand anything, I'm just disappointed in your flawed system.

I sent this mail, I also sent another mail, but got one back in swedish..

For the past two months I have had several of misleading cases with Caliroots. It all started in the middle of February, where I purchased two pair of jeans 鈥?I was not taking previous review seriously 鈥?but I should have!
After a couple of days I received my order as promised. However it was not right. I ordered two pair of black jeans, but apparently one of the jeans were blue 鈥?but I tried them on anyways, cause maybe they would fit 鈥?they did. After I realize that I could actually use both pairs of jeans, I called Caliroots, to clear if I could keep both pairs of jeans, where the blue ones were discounted on the webpage 鈥?and I therefore had to get some money back. I proposed two possible options that should be an advantage to both parties 鈥?1) to keep both jeans, and then sending me the one pair of black jeans I was missing in exchange for more money, or 2) to keep both jeans and then Caliroots could transfer the difference between the blue jeans (that I received) and the black jeans (that I ordered) back to me, as the blue jeans were cheaper. Neither of these possibilities was acceptable for Caliroots, and even though I wanted to keep both received pairs, I had to return the blue pair to get my money back or transfer them to the ordered black pairs. I then decided to return the blue pair (even though a sales assistant to me that I had to pay for the returning fees myself), in exchange of the black pair that I actually had be ordering. It took several of weeks without any notice or nothing, until I reached out again. I received a short message telling me that they had transferred me money, and that it wasn鈥檛 possible to get the black pair of jeans that I actually wanted.
Unfortunately this first part of the process hasn鈥檛 been the worst of it, and they compensated me with a 30% discount code for my future purchase, as an excuse for the inconvenience.
I then decided to purchase something more on Caliroots, as I now had this nice 30% discount code 鈥?and is could possibly save a lot of money on good items. I decided to purchase a couple of Common Projects sneaks as they are normally 2.600DKK ($370), so I could make a good saving. I found items worth approximately 7.000DK ($1.000) including the Common Projects sneaks. Before ordering I was well aware the my promotional code couldn鈥檛 be used on exclusive or discounted items 鈥?however it could not be used on Common Projects sneaks, which wasn鈥檛 marked as exclusive. I contacted Caliroots and told them that my promotional offer was not discounting all of my wanted items 鈥?and they explained me that all Common Projects items are exclusive. Before notifying them this Common Project sneak was not an exclusive offer, and second later they changed the item to 鈥榚xclusive鈥?on the webpage (I have attached both prior and post pictures of the description of the item). That got me angry 鈥?I had been using so much time of selecting items, corresponding with Caliroots, and this was suppose to be my compensation from the previous misunderstanding 鈥?but I didn鈥檛 succeed. I notified one of the customer support employees that I had the screen-shot of the previous and post description of the item, and suddenly my phone was ringing 鈥?I guess they Caliroots didn鈥檛 wanted to handle a case where their ultimately outcome would be as the loosing part. A nice customer support employee asked me how we could solve this case to make sure that both parts were satisfied. I was telling him that I was satisfied if he just allowed me to purchase the item with the discount as I was promised, then no harm was done. That was absolutely not a possibility 鈥?what he could do, was to give me another 30% discount code that I could be using next time I wanted to use there miserable web-store. I asked him politely 鈥?鈥渨ould you be using a website the third time, if it had been a mess the two first time?鈥?鈥?he responded, 鈥淵es, if the price is good enough 鈥?but actually I haven鈥檛 been shopping here, I just work here鈥? I was like 鈥渁lright鈥? then send me this new promotion code if that is the way of compensating for such as poor experience, and told him that I was still going to make reviews about the store 鈥?as I don鈥檛 want anyone else to experience this. Now he really freaked me out 鈥?telling me 鈥渋f you are still going to make reviews about us, I cannot provide you with the promotional code鈥?鈥?WHAT? 鈥?鈥渟o you want to give me a promotional code on 30%, to make sure that I am not making any reviews 鈥?even though the customer experience haven鈥檛 been satisfying?鈥? He told med 鈥測es鈥?鈥?and we argued for several of minutes.
It ended out with him promising me a promotional code, which is useless to me 鈥?but I am still going to make reviews.
Thereby I would strongly recommend any other webpage with similar items for future purchase. I have been shopping on almost every UK, GER and DK based online-stores, and that has always worked out for me! I have never tried anything like this 鈥?and the customer support employee even told me that this happened on his boss demands, and that he understood my frustrations, but there was nothing to do about. Thereby it seems like not even the managerial and administrating board-members and managers want optimize this practice, and that is 鈥?in my opinion 鈥?raising the alarm signals even more!
I haven鈥檛 received the promotional code yet 鈥?but in case I do, then please reach out to get it if like ignorance, uncertainly and gambling with your money and time!
