Lack of follow through
– After we added a new mortgage policy to my auto policy, the agent setting me up disappeared and didnt follow through when the paperwork my Home leanding company needed was requested. Of course he was all, "contact me anytime, i'm here for you"," I'll get you whatever you need". It took a literal month of emailing him (in which he never replied) to then realize he was dead or gone, and then reaching out to customer services to finally get the paperwork.

We have insured our vehicles and house with California Casualty for at least 30 years and will continue as long as they have us. The claim service has been excellent on two house incidents and 3-4 car incidents. The premiums have always remained reasonable.

We have been with California Casualty since 1974. My parents were with it and now my daughters are covered with it. That says it all. California Casualty has always good to us.

If I could rate them with a 0 I would. Their customer service is terrible. My parked, unattended vehicle was hit by one of their customers and they have made this experience absolutely awful. In fact, this incident happened 41 days ago and it has not yet been resolved. The adjuster that I dealt with is rude, unprofessional, and lazy. She threatened to drop my claim due to their customer being non-compliant. When in fact, after speaking to the other vehicle owner, I discovered that she never phoned him. He submitted a claim the same day of the incident. The adjuster hung up the phone on me stating if I didn鈥檛 like her answers then I can call my own insurance company. From that point on, she has screened every one of my calls and she has not returned my calls. I have called her supervisors direct extension and he did not seem concerned about his unprofessional employee. He had to relay the information to me regarding my estimate. Now that I have an appointment at a collision center, I am unable to get in contact with the adjuster or her supervisor. I tried calling the 1-800 number to resolve the issue and I was unsuccessful. The only solution I was offered was to be sent to the adjuster鈥檚 voicemail. I am disgusted with the customer service. The whole company seems as if their mission is to push claims off to the wayside rather than dealing with them and solving them. This company is a shame and I would never trust them. I can only hope that my vehicle is never damaged by one of their customers, ever again.
