Unfortunately a client of this bank for 8 years but I'd leave in a moment if I could. I'm also a member of 3 other French banks and would rate the others very highly. Caisse d'Epargne is like stepping back into the 1970s. Zero communication, as a client you are treated like a criminal, you are ALWAYS in the wrong, you CANNOT speak to anyone who can fix your problems. I have spend THREE YEARS trying to change my address (note I speak fluent French) – impossible- and because they are incapable of passing my message between services, nobody was able to tell me about an unpaid cheque and I got slammed for it. If I wasn't checking my account daily (as you have to do with them) I'd be in so much s…t. Awful experience over the past 4 years with them, and every French person agrees..it appears to be the bank you go to when nobody else will take you (I didn't understand this previously) so they feel they can treat you like crap because of this. If you are in a bad situation I'm sure La Poste would be better – personally of all the banks I've dealt with , I've nothing bad to report of Credit Agricole or Credit Lyonnais. I can't find one good thing to say about Caisse D Epargne. Avoid at all costs…it''ll cost you dear if you go with them I can assure you
