Who owns this company? I just read a very bad review about them, and I, in turn, am having a bad experience. Please advise. Teresa Farris

Purchased a hoverboard from buyhoverboard.com. Our 8 year old son used it for 1 day and it is already defective. Only beeps, doesn't work. Scarce evidence that their contacts lead to any real person.
ZERO RETURN COMMUNICATION. Do not let them steal your money!

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!!!!!

This company's website shows them to be a U.S. company based in Appleton, WI, and shows their product to be certified safe. Two months ago I purchased a Hoverboard from them as a birthday gift for my granddaughter. Talking with her mom before it even arrived, I knew I would have to return it. I met all of the company's requirements, mailing back to them the unopened, original carton at my own cost. (Return postage cost me an additional $50). I tracked the package through UPS, verified that it was delivered "to a man" at the company's facility, and waited for the company to fulfill their promise to refund my purchase price of $179 within 2 days. When no refund was posted, I began calling, but found their voicemail box nearly always full and unable to take messages. When I did leave a voicemail with my phone number, I never received a call back. Never once did they answer a phone call directly. I emailed frequently to "Sales," sometimes getting a reply with a new promise, sometimes an argument telling me how lucky I was that they were going to give me back my full purchase price. Sometimes I got no reply at all. Never did a person give me his/her name. Sometimes the message was friendly, such as "Let me do a quick confirm of your return and we'll get your refund posted right away." It never was. I have lost my full purchase price plus $50 return postage to their dishonesty! I would warn anyone shopping for a Hoverboard to avoid this company, and I am left with concern that they may be a complete fraud.
