You guys really dulled down the prices on electronics. When you first started this company the prices were fair and actually worth trading something in. Now it鈥檚 just the next best thing to recycling.

BuyBackWorld is super convenient, and that's the best part about it. Yes, you can probably sell your phone to a personal buyer online through other channels and make a little more money, but with BuyBackWorld you just say whatever you want to sell, they ship you a box, you put your electronic device in the box, and then you send it through the mail (all shipping is paid for by them). And then like 2-3 weeks later you get paid. It's pretty neat.

I've used them for several years and probably gotten back over $1000. They are reliable and very reasonable to work with. The prices are better than Gazelle's, but the processing times could be a bit longer. Not always but it doesn't bother me. They will reply over email so no issues with communication. I would and will use them again.

I wanted to sell two Iphones. I sent them to buybackworld.They appraised it at a lower price(which is fine). So I wanted them returned, this is where the problem kicks in. I received an email saying it would be shipped via UPS. I log on to my account and it says they will be shipping it via FEDEX. I have yet to receive my phones. I wasn't provided a tracking number and I can't contact the company( via phone or email). The phones are under warranty, but it runs out soon. I would like to get the defected phones fixed, or report the phones lost or stolen, or at least talk to someone to see how to proceed. Overall a very bad experience with this company.

TOTAL SCAM, sent in a working Cintiq monitor and after a month they dropped my quote down to Poor/Defective. Rejected the offer and had them send the product back to me. Monitor works like it's new and they did not return all the accessories I shipped them. Tried emailing them and never heard back and it's impossible to contact them via phone. Never use their service.

They received a working Apple Watch from me, and only refunded me $2. I emailed back and said that I would not accept this, and I would like my device returned immediately. It was ignored and the $2 refund proceeded. I tried calling multiple times and apparently their "voicemail" is full. No response from emailing or calling. TOTAL SCAM

The initial experience was easy and quick of receiving the return packaging to them. But once they received my phone, it took 5 months before I received payment.

This company is a almost a sham. I was quoted far more than they sent. The phones were in excellent condition according to their own paper work. Never use this comapny. There are better more honest places to do business. Besides they took weeks to complete the order. I would have given no stars if possible. Complete rip-off

BuyBackWorld offered my wife over $250 for her iPhone 8 plus in excellent condition. We sent the phone in its original box and no surprise they offered much less. We were expecting a change in price, but the final offer was $85… now we didn't expect that much of a hit but no harm no foul, we asked for her phone back and to be honest they sent the phone back promptly… HOWEVER, they did not ship it back in its original box!! the original box has over a $20 value to iPhone's and they are keeping the box to add value to other people who sold their phone without one. When I tried to contact their office pertaining this issue, their phone line goes straight to a voicemail that is full and cannot accept messages. We have yet to receive any email response either. All in all, the website is what you'd expect. Hype you up with the "estimate" online, send you a low ball offer, expect you to accept to not deal with the hassle of getting your phone back… but then steal the property you don't care to fight over if you don't want to sell your property.

Great Payouts and Process. I've used BuybackWorld several times and have not been disappointed. The turnaround time could be quicker, but they live up to their word. I will continue to use them in the future.

I sent our phone in for reselling back in Nov. We were quoted around $50 initially. After not hearing from them, we contacted the company in January and were told we were paid a reduced value of $1 due to iOS lock. Their policy is to send you a reduced offer (if warranted) and if you do not respond in 5 days it implies you've accepted the reduced offer. We have 2 issues with this.

1) We never received the reduced offer nor the reminders of a reduced offer that they are supposed to send customers according to their policy. And yes we checked our junk email too. I still don't know if an actual reduced offer was even sent.

2) We followed their phone prep instructions exactly so there is no way the phone wasn't sent correctly. I asked for proof of the problem and they sent me a screen shot of an inspection report saying the phone locked. Not actual proof there was a problem.

Judging by other positive reviews, I assume they are not intentionally unethical. But their business model is definitely set up to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. If they can take a couple of phones for next to nothing (since the customer is unaware), that is pure profit for them.

Hopefully our loss is your gain. If you use buybackworld, stay on top of your transaction every step of the way and your chance of success may be okay.

Edit: Buybackworld, I did contact your customer service and was sent a screenshot from the inspection report saying find my iphone was turned on and your policy regarding no response to offers after 5 days implies acceptance of offer. I responded that we never received the revised offer or any indication there was something wrong with the phone. Nor did we receive the reminders you are supposed to send. Since then…crickets. I guess no response from you implies you probably don't have the emails to show me. I don't care about the phone or the value, it is minimal. Just take feedback and evaluate your processes that may have flaws rather than trying to turn everything back on the customer.
