This company is beyond disappointing. My mom places an order back in February valuing or $70. We have yet to receive that order. The head of the company is always making excuses as to why we haven't received it. She claims that the order was shipped out but we never received a tracking number or anything. They deserve 0 stars. PLEASE save your self the time, money, and energy! It is not worth it.

I finally received a response from the owner after my third email stated I wanted a refund. She assured me I would receive my product as soon as she was able to get back into her website to see the orders. She said she would refund my shipping. I have a conformation saying I should have my product by 5/8/19. However, I have not received said refund. So my review for this company is still only one star because of the amount of time it took to get my product, the lack of response on her part until I asked for my $ back and her lack of refunding me like she said she would.

This company was perviously know as butter and bar. They now go by beauty Naturals Express. This was my second time ordering from this supplier and i was shocked to see that operations had gotten worst. I like to support women in business, especially single moms. I was empathetic with my first order due to the fact that she was moving and was having marital problems. I received my order damage and cracked out. The integrity of the natural butters were compromised and i lost money. I wanted 2 year to try again because i felt she was trying. She responded to my emails clueless to the issue. She checked her records and send it was sent. Except the address was incorrect. How? I don't know. She had my pervious address from my first and decided not to follow up with the billing address placed on the 2nd order. I corrected the address. She said the package was on it way. I recieved the tracking number and waited. Months passed and i checked with the shipping company who explained they never received the package to deliever. I was shocked. I then contact her again 5 months after the purchase, she refused to respond and then i asked for a refund. I still have received a response and i still have not received my refund. I made a complaint on the BBB site regarding this business to help me solve this issue but i can clearly see that i was robbed. I was disappointed and completely dissatisfied by this process. I will warn you. Do not purchase from this company. Now i hear she has an amazon site. I am sure there are alot of dissatisfied customers. It is not worth it. She needs to be shut down.

I've ordered for several years from this business. Since they've changed names and the owner has gone through personal struggles, the business has never been the same. I'm still waiting to receive and order from September. Have emailed her twice with no response. There's a tracking number and order number that's shows they label was created and that's it. She had taken my payment but never delivered. It's hard to get in contact with her because she doesn't reply to the emails. Guess I'll be filing a complaint with BBB. If she's not going to do REAL business just $#*! the site down. If anyone knows of a RELIABLE business I can order raw butters from please repost to my comment. I'm more than irritated at this business and this is the second time she's done this when I placed an order. The last time took me months to finally get a reply and receive my order. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service.

After sending another email notifying her that I was filing a complaint with the BBB and would challenge the payment, she sent an email stating that she had refunded my order. She claimed that part of the order did ship, but I never received a notice from her or from UPS, FedEx or USPS (I have notifications set for when a package is on it's way). Also, I nearly missed the responding email as it was from what looked a personal email address as opposed to the business email. Curious. I appreciate the effort and the refund, however I will no longer be purchasing from the place again.

Ordered products on 11/23. Charged 11/25. Never received my products. Emailed Sharika multiple times. She finally responded on a Friday stating that she will ship on a Saturday or Monday. I emailed her back and said if the products were not shipped by that Tuesday to give me a refund. The item wasn't "shipped" until Wednesday…so she says. The item said "pre shipment" for days. I wasn't waiting anymore so I emailed her letting her know I will dispute the charges through amazon. She emailed me bAck fairly quickly and said she never received my previous email. She stated if she had, she would have shipped it out sooner, which she was supposed to do anyway. She gave me some sob story about having to move with her 8 kids, which I could care less about. She went back and forth with me in her usual ALL CAPS to make a point. She said she included a small gift, but I still told her I wanted a refund. I didn't need it anymore, as it was a gift for my niece who I was going to see in a few days. She told me since it was already "shipped" I couldn't get a refund. I would have to send it back in order to receive one. I said I was going to go ahead and dispute the charge. She told to do it, since the item had a tracking number amazon wouldn't do anything about it. I told her to stop emailing me back and forth as it was unprofessional of her. I called amazon and told them about the discourse and other complaints made against her on the internet. Amazon investigated and issued me a refund. The supervisor said he would look into her history and see if these type of complaints have been made before and amazon would take care of her on the backend. I just received my refund last week. Do not order from this woman she is a liar and a thief. I told her this is why people do not like to support black businesses because it's always inconsistency and foolishness. This is a business, leave your emotional personal bull crap out of it. I don't care about her moving, her kids, or her divorce. I really wish she stops emailing everyone about it to garner sympathy. No one should ever be sympathetic towards a thief. She never sent my items to usps. She creates the label at her house to show some type of shipping, but when I called usps, They stated she never brought the products in. It seems that she doesn't ship the items, but she files claims against the PO stating that she did. Since I was going out of town, she said she could file a claim and reship my items to wherever I was going. Mind you, this is a federal offense. You will never receive your items from this woman, so dispute it if you can. She had great products, but her service is horrible. Stop using people's hard earned money with a false promise of Shipping their items.

I placed my order 3 weeks ago and have not received it. The website claims that orders are sent out 3-5 days after orders are received. I have emailed the customer service twice and have gotten no response.

Ordered 10/20/17 3 emails No product No email response! A week or so after I ordered in October then out up a sale so I felt then like Oh great now I'm going to be apart of a backed up holiday order. They won't respond to my emails…after reading more of these similar Bad reviews after my order date. I decided to go through with requesting a refund and yes I'm glad I went through Amazon Pay…I now don't trust the fresh and sanitary quality of Butters -N-Bars even once I get the product whenever that will be. If it was just a issue of to many orders than the solution would be to 1. Stop excepting more orders 2. Stop promoting deals 3. Stop and refund to all who request if you don't have the quality product to send….Until caught you are able to provide. From my own current experience and as well as these other reviews..it all seems Super Shady and Fraudulent so now I'm thinking if this is how the company is Unprofessionally being ran than why trust that my product is fresh and with in the right exp date of good use..I might get old stuff or poor quality thrown together stuff that's not sanitary but without me knowing…No Thx!

So I am updating my review because my issue was resolved. Like everyone else, I was waiting for products with no clue when I would get them, if at all. The owner of buttersnbars finally emailed me one day and was very transparent about why no one has received their orders. She also promised to refund my money when she could. Today, I received my refund, in full, for the purchase order that prompted my first review. I am hopeful that everything will be resolved for all other parties as well, including the owner of this company.

Like every other customer, I tried to order something from Butters n Bars. I ordered on 9/17/17 and did not receive my product. I was charged for it but never got it. I emailed several times and did not get a reply. I should have listened to others and never ordered anything. Thank God I ordered through Amazon Pay and I should be able to get my money back.
So much for wishful thinking!

I am so delighted to read these messages although it appears it will come with the same sentiment and more importantly "money paid out for a merchandise I did not receive". After reading these emails I now realize I may never receive my order and I've simply been "taken for granted". With that said maybe collectively this will highlight the ButtersnBars business ethics and "go out of business" or best be held accountable for their actions.

I have reached out several times and sent several emails with no response for my order #BNB1587. I am really disappointed because I am currently pregnant and was really counting on that Shea butter to keep stretch marks at bay. I have been a loyal customer for years and even told many family member about this business. Now I have to update them. I had issues with my last order and still tried again. Now to not even get a response is bad business and I am sorry to say.

Sadly, I still have not received product after reaching out and being patient.

Was promised that products would be shipped, but still have not received (both my sister and I).

I really did not want to add a bad review because I was really trying to give the company the benefit of the doubt due to the move to another state, as technical issues.

Feel really sad that a good company doesn't seem to care for its customers.

I have sent additional emails, which are being kicked back.

I was a very loyal customer and used to order my shea butter and African black soap religiously from them. I put in my last order in March and as of now haven't received anything. I emailed them and got no response. So I've taken my business elsewhere. It's so sad because they did have a wonderful product.

Thankfully I ordered from this site with Amazon Pay, so I'm able to dispute it and get my money back.

I went to look at the status of my order on the buttersnbars website, but it's gone. I get a proxy error every time I try.

I'd ordered from here in the past with no issues, but this go round seems more like a mad grab for our money and then shutting everything down.

Sharika responded to an email 2 weeks ago letting me know she was sick and would ship my order last week. Of course that didn't happen, and she hasn't answered my emails since.

I'd suggest using paypal or amazon if you order from this site at all. They at least have protections in place so that you can get your money back when you're inevitably swindled.

This was my first time ordering from the company and it will absolutely be my last time.
Someone recommended this company and its products to me and I really liked what I used! So when I went to place an order for myself 3 WEEKS AGO I didn't think it would take as long as it did. I reached out to the company and received a response from Sharika saying that they were behind. That was 2 weeks ago! I've e-mailed since then asking for an update and also e-mailed to cancel my order and refund the money back to my card and have heard NOTHING!! Do not buy anything from this company. It seems like it's all a scam and I will report it to every possible outlet, blog it, and write as many reviews as I can so other people know the truth! It's a shame.

If I could give negative stars I would, I've emailed her numerous times, she got back to me once after about a week, its been another 3 and nothing. So I've been charged for items I havnt receieved and she refuses to deal with it. $#*! stole my money.

I received my full refund via PayPal probably one week after I filed my dispute. It's bittersweet. I loved the products butters n bars offered but after this fiasco I am forced to search elsewhere for quality products at reasonable prices. I am not malicious and do hope that her business gets straightened out and fully functional again. Best of luck to both ends of this situation.

If you haven't received any order or a refund just reach out, as you can see From many of the reviewers we've been around for years and while things did become difficult and chaotic we are still here and remain grateful for the the difficulty and the ease.

PayPal disputes back during Mar, April, and May (even before) for pending orders WERE REQUESTED by me because of payment processor security issues that I outlined in my newsletters.
IF ANYONE ACTUALLY READS THE SHIPPING POLICIES TO DATE PRIORITY IS REFERRING TO THE NAME OF THE SHIPPING SERVICE, there is no longer a ground and priority mail service so it doesn't refer to or include processing times. The 2 or 3 day that times beside it is referring to the target USPS delivery times for that service.
I see that Some of the newer reviews have received their orders and we apologize for any confusion about shipping policies, delivery times and delays… and again of you have an older order please reach out to me.
If you're new and would like to know whay everyone is talking about (including the dispute I had to file myself AGAINST the BBB for not informing me of disputes, you all are like family and my business practices are an open book.

I ordered my products in June 28 2017. They charged me right away. I haven't received my products. I have sent them a few emails with no response, product or refund. This also was to be a 2 day priority mail! We are now in July 18 2017.

Like many others, I have been shopping on the site for years. I ordered my African Black soap and Clays from ButtersNBars. I just placed an order a month ago. After writing about the status of my order two weeks after the order, I received an email from the owner saying that the order was going out that week, but that the african black soap had been delayed. I was happy that I received such a quick response. Two weeks later, still no shipping receipt and no product. I have disputed the shipment with American Express and have received my credit from AE, while they dispute the matter with ButtersNBars. I guess I will have to take my business elsewhere…too bad! I was a loyal customer and even told others about the company. Now I will tell everyone what a scam the company is as they keep taking peoples money and not delivering product. I have also just submitted a complain with the Better Business Bureau.

I have been ordering from ButtersNBars for several years. I (apparently along with many others) purchased products in MARCH! Initially I wrote to them a couple of weeks after I placed my order to check on its status – A quick response from Sharika Chaney assured me that my package was scheduled to go out for delivery later that week and apologized for the delay but they were "going through a lot of changes." It's now July and I can't get ahold of anyone. Of course my credit card was charged without my package even being mailed out. Very disappointed.

I've shopped at BNB for years. No problem until this year. The business seems to have taken a bad hit in 2016. I did receive my money back through my bank due to BNB never delivering my product and a collection of nice emails I sent the business concerning the order.
My complaint at this time is why is the site still up and running and constantly sending me coupons knowing they aren't fulfilling orders to date! I initially felt bad for the business but now I'm concerned that ButtersNBars.com may be a fraudulent company.

Update: My previous review of BNB reflected the horrible customer service just as the majority of reviews of this merchant. It took six months, but Sharika Chaney finally sent a refund for the products I ordered from her site. No email or explanation, but at least I got my money back. I would have preferred to have my order fulfilled, but…considering my experience, I will probably not order there again until the recent customers provide better reviews.
