Company offering elaborate career opportunity but unable to verify its legitimacy

This company (Brooke Harris from HR) sent me an email weeks ago thanking me for my interest in a project manager position. It鈥檚 an international land, sea, and air transportation company. I couldn鈥檛 confirm I applied for a job and asked how she got my name but she never responded to that. Supposedly they鈥檙e a Sweden based company expanding into U.S. and Canada. Salary originally was $84,000 (later stated it was $88,000), I could work from home or relocate to the nearest hub in Charlotte – either option at their expense. But first I would go through 4 or 5 weeks of training by receiving daily readings then taking a test on the content every Friday. If I do well (supposedly I did on test 1 this last Friday) then I would get opportunity to go on to second stage working on projects that earn me points that would ultimately put me ahead of other candidates. Plus it has commission or bonus opportunity beyond the training pay. Training supposedly pays from about $2200 to $5200 at end of 4 or 5 weeks as a 1099 independent contractor. Pay depends on test scores. I signed a 鈥減re-contract agreement鈥?and did a questionnaire but didn鈥檛 provide anything too personal that couldn鈥檛 already be found online. I haven鈥檛 done the special projects yet as I just got notice that I scored well enough today. HR is supposed to call me tomorrow to go over it. I guess this is where they ask me to ship stuff for them (according to similar scams I read about for these type companies online). Probably illegal stuff. I don鈥檛 intend to move forward. For awhile I thought I was being paranoid and I sort of believed it was legitimate. But my first instinct of suspicion prevails. In the beginning I questioned how they found me, why I couldn鈥檛 find any information on them online except for their very basic website, why their New York address is to high rise building yet no suite number is listed as part of their address. No answer. Brooke Harris (probably one person claiming to be multiple people) says they have several contracts but she couldn鈥檛 say who they were with because it鈥檚 confidential. She said they鈥檙e going through process to be a publicly traded company by end of year. Also said she could send me some licensing details to prove they鈥檙e real but so far she hasn鈥檛. I鈥檝e been mainly dealing with Gregory Mitchell lately as he鈥檚 my training manager. He says they鈥檙e embarking on a big ad campaign next month. I had a phone interview that was supposed to come from the Sweden HR team but the interviewer called for a Florida cell. (Gregory looking into this with his IT team. Yeah right.) Interviewer called last week from a possibly international number but we didn鈥檛 have the interview then. The domain originates in Sinagapore or Ukraine. Details of this job opportunity are too similar to other scams. After all the preliminary training they鈥檒l supposedly fly me to New York for more training and to negotiate my contract.
