$199 for renewal when ASIC charges $85 for a 3 year online renewal.

Called to cancel 17 minutes after purchase and there was a $50 admin fee to be deducted, no longer can I renew by name with ASIC online, and further issues.

Absolute nightmare. Terrible Customer Service. Do not use!

If you want to pay more money for a business name registration and go through a process more laborious than just using ASIC Connect yourself you should use this sham of a company. You'll also have the displeasure of paying for auto renewal that never happens, a complete lack of responsibility and the potential for having your business name cancelled because you trusted their auto renewal process to take care of deadlines. Not only did our business name get cancelled, it was reregistered by someone else and is now no longer available to us. Their response…..register another name with a variation. What a complete joke! Do yourself a favour and use ASIC Connect….I'm in the process of making a formal complain to ACCC about businessname.com.au

I got tricked into using this "service"!!! When I clicked on the "Pay now – renewal" link in ASIC's renewal emailed notice, it took me to their website – heaven knows how that happened, because both ASIC and these tricksters deny that it is possible to "hack" into a link! I know I should've been more vigilant and investigate this business, but was in a hurry and just assumed that it was the new or preferred ASIC service provider. Paid the exorbitant fee and anxiously had to wait a MONTH, instead of 5 days to get confirmation that my business name had been renewed – that's how long it took them to forward to ASIC the mere $36 of the $139 fee! I have reported this breach of privacy and trust to ASIC. User Be Aware!!

If I could give a zero I would. I paid this company to register my business in 2018 and they didn't do it. I found out my name was registered by someone else 2 months ago and I contacted them They claim to have emailed me for my TFN. One email. Never contacted me again but took my money.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.

Of course they won't answer the phone.

this company is a scam. So I鈥檝e been ripped off. Thought I鈥檇 go through these guys to make it easier.
I鈥檝e requested a business name search and domain name
Registration. They鈥檝e done the business name but haven鈥檛 done the domain name. They have my money. They don鈥檛 respond to emails or phone calls and hang up on me even when I鈥檓 being polite. Scam

This company charges a large amount of money for 3 years and claims they are the same as Asic . To register your business name for 3 years for only $82.00 AUD register with Australia's government site with Asic . Go to Asic connect . Asic is government this is a private company that falsely claimed to me today to be the same as Asic .

Clicking on the BusinessName.com.au website cost me more than 200% to become registered than it would have if I had gone direct to ASIC website.

Used this service for the first time won't be the last ,completely seemless great service and priced to use, a great tool for any professional practice

Big problems of cumunication with customers and resolving misunderstandings

It only took me 5 minutes to see if my business name was available and to register also the on line chat was helpful

Apart from the fact that you stated that I would have my ABN and Business Name confirmed within 15 minutes of paying via Credit Card and it took over a week, while that was disappointing I realized that I made an error on my paperwork and when I rang 23/10/2015 @ 4.55pm I was told bad luck due to the fact that I needed to change my information from Sole Trader to a Partnership I would need to pay the full amount of $196 to cancel and re-submit for a new ABN etc. and that was all you could do for me then I need to say thanks for nothing.
I am aware of the error being my fault BUT if I can ring the ATO directly and have the details changed at no cost then I assume so can you. I would call that good customer service – wouldn't you?

Slow service with no indication of the length of time it would take to have anything completed. No way of checking this either.
