THEY DID NOT deliver my order, and refuse to refund all charges. They blame it on my bank. Ridiculous. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE. You can't talk to a real person. The won't refund delivery charges for a delivery that didn't happen!

My order from these people was not delivered. They refuse to refund the full amount. They charged me $4.07 delivery charges, they didn't deliver the order, and won't admit it. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE.

Fool me once fool me twice, nope they fooled me three times. Why do I even bother. It's almost as if the guy Ady have no remorse or soul when he's constantly lying to you. The shoppers or awesome and I can almost bet they don't know this Mr Ady is giving people false dreams that there groceries will arrive. One mim before you order "Oh yes we have plenty of shoppers today," but then after you pay, "Unfortunately we don't have any shoppers please wait up until 9pm to we will delivery tomorrow." I ordered at 10am this morning, it is now 6:37pm and no groceries. It's no one's fault but my own because I've been burnt by them twice already. I think he knew I wasn't getting a delivery but he wanted me to pay first. Give people the option of ordering groceries today or tomorrow before they pay. Give me the option if I want to go to the store besides sitting around the house for 8 hrs for groceries. Its cruel and immoral. He knew no one was coming but he tried to make me think someone was.

I ordered groceries to be delivered to my sister in Dallas who is stuck on the couch with a broken leg. Delivery set between 12 and 1pm. At 1:15 I call to ask where the groceries are only to be told they didn't have any available drivers so they just didn't fulfill it. I was told they would schedule for a delivery between 7 and 8pm. I get an email confirming the time and letting me know a driver has been assigned. At 8:20 I call the driver to ask where the groceries are and she tells me she hasn't even been to the store yet. Apparently she told Burpy she was running behind and that she wouldn't be by until very late and would most likely have to drop the groceries off in the morning if my sister didn't wait to wait up until 10 or later to get them. At this point I'm pretty upset so I message the company to cancel. Ady, the customer service agent handing the issue, calls my sister-in-law and starts badgering her. He is upset that I am trying to cancel and starts accusing her of poor communication. She tells me what's going on and I get Ady on the phone and he keeps trying to get me to change my mind about canceling the order. We go around and around and he finally agreed to send my order to the cancellation team and tells me I will be getting an email confirming cancellation. Ten minutes later I still haven't received the email and he messages me AGAIN asking me to keep the order and they will deliver the groceries tomorrow morning. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I don't get my money back I will go through the credit card company. My sister needed some soup and bread, not a huge hassle from a seriously unprofessional company.

Shopper did not text me per instructions and req! Also bought items that I did not ask for or want that was suppose to be 鈥渞eplacement鈥?and the produce is not good. These mistakes cost ME MONEY, ADDITIONAL I DO NOT HAVE. I GIVE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR A REASON! This is the third time I鈥檝e used this service and customer service has not gotten back with me even though promised within 24hrs of my other request. This will be the last time I use this. I rather wait two days for Instacart than use Burpy with an hour and it be incorrect and over charged!

Poor communication, from start to finish. The delivery was over an hour late, and was not completely correct (a large part was wrong and I was not asked about any substitutions). Tried their chat support – that was useless when all I got was "within the hour" or "soon" (reminded them that "soon is not a time") about when I would actually receive my order.

Never got an actual answer, only the information to get in touch with the shopper/driver since apparently it was not their job to find out anything.

As a contractor for this company since April 2016 my experience has gone from great to the worst company i have worked with. They withhold orders from shoppers they dont like, they dont appreciate the sacrifices and devotion given to them and instead of showing any appreciation for working 7 days/week morning till evening, making sure all orders were fulfilled. Even on days when i had planned on not working i would end up dropping everything to get their customers taken care of. But how is it every time i needed to take time off for routine oil changes or other personal errands id be told no other shopper available, so once again i would put this company 1st and me 2nd. And for over a year now they have shown me how much they appreciate my dedication and devotion…they would assign orders to those shoppers who work whenever they feel like it..which is never a holiday, never during terrible weather, but those shoppers would get orders when i would beg for orders. Dare i decline an order because i am unable to do it ….because they then penalize you for the next few days by them having orders withheld and not getting any orders. In fact I had to cancel a vacation last year due to them withholding orders and i was unable to make enough money prior to trip to have money for the trip.
This company doesnt understand the importance of taking care of those who take care of them. My customer reveiws and rating show the exceptional service i provide their customers yet i am going broke begging for orders due to being discriminated against because one staff of theirs doesnt separate personal from professional and will assigns orders to their favorite shopper. discriminating against those who have been there again and again. they dont understand that professional ethics vs personal vindictive actions affect a business and the lasting impact of those actions.

They have on many occassions stolen money from the only shopper available at the time of the order, (me) by coercing me to do orders which i had already declined because doing the order would have cost me money rather than earn money. However, I would be contacted by Burpy and theyd tell me if i would do the order they would increase the pay to 13 sometimes to 15. $10 is the pay for the last order they didnt pay me for. It was an order with less than 11 items, 10 items or less is a flat pay of $10. The address was 64 miles round trip and there was no tip on the order and this customer never adds or leaves a tip, which makes the pay to shop and deliver this order still $10 – Minus gas, minus mileage, minus wear and tear on vehicle. MINUS MY TIME. I told him I would do the order with the increased pay due to the fact if i had not then this order more than likely would be cancelled. Did they pay me the extra 5.00? No and this happens again and again. When i send messages telling them to pay me they dont even have the decency of replying nor their legal obligation of paying me whats owed to me. I NEVER GOT PAID for helping them out YET AGAIN and they thanked me by screwing me out of even more money they owe me.

If you want to support a business who would rather lie to you than tell the truth, who will steal wages from you then this is the company to use.

If you want to support a business who doesnt appreciate the hard work and exceptional service provided to their customers by a 4 year shopper, then by all means this is the company to use.

If you want to support a business who doesnt have the decency to inform their contractors of them changing their payment source, causing them to not be paid for weeks compared to daily this is the company.

If supporting a business who discriminates against their contractors for personal reasons then please choose this company.

Its appalling the way those who have been there for this company again and again are valued at the rate of very little to not at all.

Thanks Burpy….yall are terrible people and a terrible business.

My shopper was very friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a good experience with Burpy. He called me at the store to let me know that some of the item I ordered wasn't there and if I had another brand that I wanted to use. All cold foods arrived were placed in a separate insulated container. He was very punctual and courteous upon arrival. I would highly recommend Burpy to my family and friends to use.

I started my online shopping around 1:45 PM and selected Burpy as my delivery service because it said it would be delivered in an hour….WRONG! First all items were $1-2 more than other delivery services. Tip was set at $7 which I wouldn't be mentioning if I didn't have to go to the store myself. I was asked to pick another time for delivery 2xs before I asked for a refund. Not just an hour difference it was hours to the next day. At 4:10 I received "Hello,

You placed an order which is suppose to be delivered Between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. We are really sorry to inform you that due to the shortage of shoppers. We are not able to deliver in that time frame. If you allow us please, we can try to deliver in the following time frame for today between 7 – 8 PM, 8 – 9 PM, 9:00 PM-10:00 PM, 10:00 PM-11:00 PM. You can please pick any of the stated slots. This service is absolute garbage. The last time I used it, the shopper left my groceries in the hall. This time…the shopper didn鈥檛 bother to tell me that they weren鈥檛 coming. I placed my order at 3:45pm. The only time slot available was at 7pm. I waited patiently…then at 8:15 pm when my groceries were not delivered between 7-8…I contacted the service. I was told the shopper had an emergency then the replacement shopper had an emergency as well. GARBAGE! They offered…to redeliver in the AM. No discount, no nothing except a ridiculous apology. I am so upset. Now at 8:35 pm I have to go to the grocery store and carry a pile of groceries into a high rise building.

I used Burpy for the first time yesterday to order a few snack items from Whole Foods in San Antonio for my college student First, you can鈥檛 see the total of your order until after you input your credit card information. Next problem was that apparently Whole Foods was 鈥渙ut of stock鈥?of virtually every item I ordered. The very nice young lady doing the shopping unfortunately was misleading or just plain wasn鈥檛 paying attention when letting me know price difference of replacement items vs what I originally ordered. Long story short, my charges ended up being close to $20 over what I had authorized on my card!!
Do not recommend Burpy. Use the grocery stores delivery service instead. I know I will!!

I was trying Walmart delivery for the 1st time for my disabled mother. So after shopping I proceeded on to check out. After entering all my information ex deliveryaddress, card and billing address the message appeared saying CV code was incorrect I made sure it was then message said being denied by my bank so I called. Bank verified they were not denying and information was correct on their end. I then tried again and message said billing address doesnt match. So I chatted with an operator and they said the same. So I asked to speak to a live person via phone. This person continued to tell me based on their computer my address dont match so they cant process order. I insisted that they look into it because I have had the same address and bank for over 5years. He just rudely told me I have been marked as fraudulent and my order will not be process so this will be my 1st and last time ever using their site. I was referred by a co worker to help with my disabled mother thanks so much for non help. They need true CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING…….

I was intrigued and I tried them out, a few months ago, having the ability to choose a delivery time frame on the site. I chose between 2-3 pm as anything else was inconvenient and I could do the shopping myself. Instead, I get a call from their outsourced call center rep who said they couldn't make it at that time and to wait until between 6 7 7pm. This was my first time ever ordering from Burpy and that certainly was not a first good impression. Nonetheless, I was forced to wait around an extra 3 hours for my groceries to arrive. The store is literally within walking distance (0.15 mile).

Today I wanted to save some time and give them the benefit of the doubt. Again, I ordered and selected between 2 to 3 pm. Like clockwork, I get a call from their outsourced call center saying they had no shippers in my area and wanted to change it to the exact same time as before.. between 6 to 7pm!! Unbelievable. I told them no, this is unacceptable and to give me my money back. The rep was rude and raised his voice on me saying to call my bank. I hung up in disgust as I know they have already preauthorized the entire amount to my checking account.. around $86 and change.

Stay away from these people. According to what I have read, they have been in business for at least 5 years and this is how they operate? Total rookies and a total lack of professionalism and complete disregard for customer service. This is one of the absolute worst online shipping experiences I have ever partaken in. Avoid Burpy.com, save yourself the wasted time and money.
