Instructed for appeal – Solicitor (Shahista) left the firm – Replacement solicitor (Nadeem) stop responding when requested to clarify some open points
After a week, made a complain – Refused to help and after that no response.
Have raised matter with relevant authorities.
Poor advise/Poor customer service – Don't believe their success rate
Wonder why they are under investigation from a public body

This is a very long review, but please read it and hopefully save yourself the pain they have caused me
Honestly the worst customer service I had ever experienced.
First of all trying to get in contact with anyone is an absolute mission. My so called case worker was never available when I rang, and I would always get told that he would ring me back later that day. Which was never the case.
E-mails would always go unanswered, they have an appointment booking service, but I might as well have written down my appointment request and made it into a paper airplane for all the good it did.
Despite all that we did finally manage to get my wifes settlement visa submitted, however after waiting about 11 weeks for a response, we get a notice telling us that it was rejected.
The reason being that part of the application required my wife to take a T.B medical test. Which she did at one of the largest hospitals in Shanghai, and got the test results translated into English at the Notary office. All this at the advisement of our case worker.
Our application was rejected solely on this piece of documentation because first of all, it was the wrong test (application requires an x-ray test as opposed to a blood test) and because it needed to be done at one of 3 specific hospitals in Shanghai.
So just to re-iterate, we got this test done at the advisement of our case worker, we also sent our documents to Burlow and Spencer for review prior to submitting the application and this second level of validation, they still confirmed that it was all fine.
Thanks to this complete lack of knowledge, we've had to resubmit our application at a second cost of 拢1500 and a colossal waste of time.
Thanks to their incompetence, my wife and I have had to spend an extended period of time apart, aside from the times I've been able to travel to China to visit her.
It doesn't end there, although I blame myself for what came next, upon notifying them of the rejection, they stated they can submit a new application, quickly as they have all my details and documents already, all my wife has to do is get the T.B test done at one of the accredited hospitals, and they offered to assist with my sons passport (he was born in China but is entitled to a British passport through me)
I kick myself now for not telling them to forget it and going with another firm, but at the time I was desperate to get my wifes visa sorted, and honestly thought there's no way they could make a mess of it. Once again the communication issues started at one point it took me over a month to get my case worker on the phone.
We've finally submitted the new application, but now they are telling me there's no note for them to do my sons passport (who was born a little over a month ago now), despite using that as a selling point to get me to allow them to do our second application (with a fee of course!)
I've ended up doing his passport application myself, but am now in the situation where both my wife and son(who was meant to be born in the UK, but wasn't because of the first visa mess up) are in China, and I'm in the UK and I'm missing out on precious time with my familiy.
Do not use these cowboys, even if another firm costs you double the fee, they are definitely worth it.

I could not be happier with the services I received from Harris Qadir. He is extremely efficient and professional. He was responsive to my phone calls and emails and always available to answer questions. Keep up the good work..

I would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation.

Jim, the lawyer, is most responsive and always cordial in response. Good and small, modest people whose very professional throughout the process. They really saved my issues and concerns each time I raised. The legal fee is set humble compared to other large law firms, and I feel it's more than worth after my good experience.
I worked with them, over the email/Fedex/phone calls with just one time in-person meeting. I knew Jim with the referenceof my Friend case in the past, that鈥檚 why I already confident and happy with the experience and decided to follow him, as I knew it's extremely hard to find the good immigration lawyer. I went through many bad experiences with others in the past 鈥?as many of you are familiar. I was right: even with the distance, I could trust them throughout.
It's not the first time to make recommendation, as I've been mentioning about them to my friend in circle as well.
Hope this helps for other deserved candidates!.

Being an IT company with Tier 2 Sponsor licence, we were blown away by the complex processes and policies to be implemented to be 100% compliant with the latest Home office鈥檚 requirement of Tier 2 sponsorship. It is hard to figure out as to what was enough and correct. It was very stressful to monitor Tier 2 migrants & specially the arrangement of the sponsored workers working at client site on 鈥榗lient contract鈥?
A word of warning to other likewise companies, please do not take it easy. There is a lot for the Tier 2 compliance which you do not know that you really 鈥渄o not know鈥? So in this case you need a specialist to make you understand first what you 鈥渄o not know鈥?then help you to fix that.
If you are a company with a Tier 2 sponsor licence and want complete peace of mind maintaining your Tier 2 licence and retaining your NON-EU skilled staff then Burlow is the company to go to. They simply do not work as a consultant for me but they literally owned my problem. I cannot ask more than this. Thank you so much and my best wishes to Burlow & Spencer.
We highly recommend Burlow working with the team has been fantastic experience.

i feel they prey on people who are in time sensitive and vulnerable situations and pressure you into paying money by misleading statements.
I was enquiring about help with a US visa. I was bullied into paying money to speak with their attorney. They misspelt important information on correspondence before i had even spoken with the attorney. They failed to send me information i needed and had requested before my consultation was due. Therefore i didnt have it.
They fail to call back when requested. The charged me 拢800 for their 'service' despite not providing any service. Both myself and my father were spoken to incredibly rudely and unprofessionally by several members of the team as well as both being hung up on in separate phone calls by one Individual named Adam. Adam is a sales man, who i believe falls more into the bracket of aggressive , pushy, misleading salesman. He constantly changed his story, was misleading with information and when questioned about the discrepancies he failed to provide valid answers.
Overall i felt taking advantage of, bullied and feel this company does not care whether the case they take on is a success only that they get money. They tell you what ythey think you want to hear before you pay and after you pay they fall very very short of any commitments they have made.

Willing to take on a case that other immigration case worker were not capable of handling. Honest, straightforward and knows the law. In addition, an extremely kind individual that you can consider a friend and not just your immigration case worker.鈥?

Me and my Husband needs help for our status case and was confused and upset because of our visa case as we don鈥檛 know anyone who is passionate about helping others, honest, and knowledgeable and genuinely cares about me and my husband case.
After a long research on internet we decided to go with Burlow Spencer because we very impressed with the reviews of people about this firm .We cantact them and booked an appointment.
There we met shahista and very impressed with her way of dealing and knowledge. She is very friendly, calm and patient.
She was very helpful with our whole visa process. She provided us with all the guidelines and consultations throughout the process. She organized all our documents and made sure we weren't missing any documentation as it could delay the case. She double checked and made sure all the information is filled out and correct before she mailed out our application.
She is very approachable, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely wanted our case to get approved. All her staff members were very kind, polite and professional. Shahista replied to all our emails and phone calls quickly. We had a lot of questions and she provided us with great advise and information that helped us with the whole process. She helped me and my husband for everything during the whole process and her presence made the whole experience less stressful.
Sorry shahista for my English.
Update
Our case was approved and we are extremely happy of how smoothly everything went. We owe it all to shahista who was great and helpful throughout this whole process. It was a pleasure working with her and we will definitely be doing our Permanent Residency through her.
I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with any immigration paperwork.

I met Muhammad and told him all the details. After all the discussion he was hopeful about my case . My case was urgent and Muhammad made himself available during inconvenient times. From the very start we felt very confident with Muhammad handling the case. We got a sense of trust from him right away. Muhammad is more than well qualified. He gets straight to the point, explains the case, the options, and how to proceed without any hurdles. He is also very understanding and goes above & beyond to get a positive outcome for you and your loved ones. He uses all his resources and does not give up. You always want an attorney that feels for your situation and understands what you are going through.
He worked on all areas of my case and reapply with all necessary requirements and with the reference of my old case aswell to avoid any complexity and write a letter to UKBA regarding submission of new case
Words cannot express how grateful and happy I am for all help and positive outcome . For anyone considering seeking legal assistance for an immigration case, you can trust Muhammad and all his legal team. Thank you
