Isn't evolving with buy online, afterpay or even laybys yet??
Seems very odd & outdated that no one has put in any effort for these things to be going yet.

Promised me a world of opportunitys, gaining forklift skills, learning new things but used me for my 6 month probationary period just checking cars for stolen goods the whole time then dumped me like trash. I begged my bosses to please teach me things so i could be a better team member for customers. They said yes then all of a sudden sacked me. Milan Prib the timber expert is the biggest piece of crap ive ever met in my whole entire life. He is Rodney Dangerfield's long lost unfunny, condescending, miserable, awful brother. I thought Aaron the builders expert was a really good dude someone i could of been life long friends. I thought we were mates but he completely let me down. Made me feel like i was doing good and everything was ok. Its probably due to Andrew the high up guy who doesnt care about helping people he just lives to make everyone anxious so he can please the big wigs in corporate. I purchased $100 of clothes a month ago with my bosses knowing and accepting my money then i get told when im sacked to go home and chop it up with scissors and that my future with bunnings has come to an end. I would of stayed and comitted to this job for life. I was going out of my way to befriend everyone and get to know people on but they didnt give a crap about me. Dont count on lasting more then a year. They will make you feel like they want to help you but you're nothing

Staff are rude and careless. They did not honour a valid identical price match guarantee. The Manager lied to our face and did not value our custom. I wrote in to customer services and received no response. Will not waste my money in their store again.

Purchased a very small hose on reel. At the moment I cannot even get the water to flow through it. What makes it so much worse is that I see that I have paid 拢10 more than it would have been in other shops. No price was displayed on the shelf – so had to wait until I reached the checkout to see the price. Very disappointed. Not a good experience. Would not recommend.

low prices are matched by very poor quality.
i bought and returned a lawn mower that could not be assembled without risk of breaking flimsy plastic parts and lugs on the 3-piece grass box
i bought own-brand white matt emulsion which was far from white. upon opening, it had a yellow oily layer on top that took 10 minutes of vigorous stirring to incorporate. the coverage and opacity was very poor. worst ever paint.
both were false economies that caused more problems than they were worth. i will avoid this company in the future.

Since bunnings have taken over from b and q in Rochdale I still shop there regularly but today was the last time. Truly disgusted by the behavior of a member of staff who locked my children out the play pen with the reason that I parent has to stay and observe something that is not displayed or was needed as my children can play without direct supervision, then they came running to me saying they're locked out and explained the reason I said fair enough I will watch whilst the Mrs can shop, the member of staff still refused to open the play pen, she did not even have the courage to say it to my face and sent another member of staff to convey the message, I was infuriated. Why have a play pen to lock children out and dissapoint them without any explanation to my face??? If nothing else this felt like racial discrimination or this woman does not like children either way truly disgusted to my core from a store that has previously provided great customer service.

Purchased one of their Ozito battery lawn mowers from the Walthamstow branch that came highly recommended. The stock level was nil so we were directed to the special order desk. Firstly an extremely helpful staff member named Farhana identified 42 in stock on the upper level. She then said while another member of staff would get the special lift to retrieve one, would we like to sit down and would we like a drink of water! It was very hot but I have never in any store been given such an invite and I am extremely impressed by her customer service. The picker who helped with the collection was Manny and I would like to praise them
both. Also was helped to the car with my purchase. Well done Bunnings on your staff`s customer service, I will spread the word!

None of the self service tills working -again so big queues at the few other tills. Price match is a con as it only applies to none offer pricing from comparable stores. Wickes had buy 2 tins of Dulux paint for 拢26 and Bunnings was 拢14 per tin. But could not match Wickes as it was an offer so why bother with the price match. Bring back Homebase management!

During my visit to your store in Chichester West Sussex, I found the toilets in a very unsanitary state, the floor was flooded, the toilets did not flush properly splashing dirty water over the seats, the water closet, walls and floor. The sink unit was also flooded, there was toilet paper over the floor and the sink unit, I assume because some people had tried to dry their hands and mop up some of the water. The toilet block smell hits you as soon as you walk into the foyer, which happens to be behind the cafe area. I felt that a mention to the customer information desk would be best, then they could organize a cleanup. The young lady at the desk gave me a form to fill in, which I did, but I just really wanted someone to clean it. Everything about Bunning鈥檚 store is an improvement since its change from HOMEBASE, except the toilets, they are terrible. To which the person at the information desk said we are changing back to HOMEBASE anyway. I asked to speak to the manager, who came down after inspecting the toilets and told me he had spent his own time last night cleaning them and thought they would last at least until lunchtime, it must be the public that have made the mess. He also explained the problems with the plumbing and the reclaim ground and the sewers, he gave so many reasons they sounded like excuses. When I said if they are not functional he should close them, he said that they cannot be closed. I realise that having a cafe requires toileting facilities but if they are not functional they need closing, cleaning and fixing. I said I would be making a complaint via email to which he stated that an email would just go to his store. I will be checking the toilets again in the future. I will be making a complaint to environmental health. I was unhappy at the state of the plumbing in a DIY shop! I was disgusted at the sanitation levels of the toilets and outraged at the attitude of the staff & THE MANAGER. I did not expect to get the stores plumbing and building history during my visit today.

We recently purchased a kitchen from Bunning鈥檚 they designed for us. We spent 拢5,382 on units and appliances.
We have experienced a catalogue of errors from Bunning鈥檚. Most of these problems stem from the poor kitchen design.
Before I summaries them, please know that the Kitchen measurements we gave were correct. They were measured by the builder and ourselves.
1. The Kitchen worktop that was ordered by Bunning鈥檚 was not big enough for the design they prepared for us. We had to re-configure the kitchen while installing to accommodate the worktop that you ordered.
2. The tower panel that sits between the integrated oven and fridge was missing. We had to purchase a new one. The oven was warming up the fridge.
3. They supplied 5 quantities of trim. Not sure why, we only ordered one wall cupboard.
4. The wall cupboard that we ordered was to cover the boiler. This did not fit. We were told it would fit a standard boiler.
5. The Layout they designed meant that one cupboard had a whole half cupboard door blocked. We had to re-arrange kitchen so we could open both doors.
6. The Dishwasher panel was missing. We had to order and pay for a new one.
7. There was a missing 500mm door. We had to re-order and pay for a new one.
8. The top of the oven sticks out a 2mm and the bottom of the microwave touches top of oven. Assuming this is a design flaw by CDA.
9. The drawer unit we ordered was not correct was supposed to be one pot and pans and two small drawers.
10. Additional items ordered were not delivered on the correct day. No one had any idea where they were. This held up our builder.
11. We have received additional costs from our builder due to the poor kitchen design and having to re-work kitchen mainly due to the worktop issue and cupboard door being blocked. Also the tower panel had to be un-done and put back together once we received the tower panel.
In most cases, your staff were friendly and helpful, it still is not good enough that this relatively simple kitchen design has caused so many issues and a lot of additional cost for us to get it right. Our builder has charged us an additional 拢350.
We have had Homebase kitchens installed in the past and never had any of these issues.
It鈥檚 been a very disappointing, expensive and stressful experience buying a Bunning鈥檚 Kitchen.

Appalled at conversation I overheard from an employee at Bunnings in Weston. Employee ask another employee to make his presence felt in the isle where a black man was looking at the tool section. Why I asked myself did he think because he was black that he was about to steal some tools. If the man was white he definitely would not be concerned at all. This kind of attitude really gets me angry.

Milton Keynes Branch
Bought a very large tool chest which they priced matched and gave a additional 10% discount saving 拢40
Then tried to hire a hertz van on site after the staff and my self tried to deal with Hertz on the phone for 30 min the Hertz agent said he had spent to much time on the phone with me so hire did not go ahead The Bunnings Manager apologists for the way Hertz had spoken to me and asked me to hire a van myself and he would refund me, this I did and was refunded.
What great services from the Milton Keynes branch and the staff who went above and beyond, If only other companies offered customer service to this standard
Highly Recommend

Whilst working on a garden renovation contract in Basingstoke we needed some extra materials to complete the project, being not from the local area we checked on Google for a supplier an up came Bunnings. On entering the store we asked a member of staff where we could find the products we needed she called another member of staff over an he took us to each of the sections an helped pick the products. We also needed some sheet timber cut so he took us over to the timber cutter an went an found a member of staff to operate the saw. We expected to be looking around for ages an be late back on site but in fact the whole experience took less than 3o minutes. An extremely pleasant experience from the polite an helpful staff to the competitive prices an I have been telling all my family and friends.

I had high hopes for Binnings new Folkestone store that replaced B&Q. Sadly Bunnings staff know little more than B&Q staff about what's on tor shelves or where things are in the store.
Binnings don't have a website of their products or prices so you are buying blind.
Bunnings' prices are not significantly cheaper, and sometimes more despite Bunnings' price guarantee. That price guarantee is a con. Its limited to identical products, but Bunnings avoid selling identical products, if only by demanding the manufacturer alters the product in some minor way. That practice was common amongst electrical goods retailers but now it seems Bunnings are bringing bad practice to the DIY market.
Finally, Bunnings don't care about the environment. Bunnings ten page leaflet arrives through my post box with annoying regularity and Bunnings ignore requests to stop this practice that leads to more trees felled and more recycling.

I visited Bunnings for the first time on Sunday (as was a previous customer of Homebase). I have to say I was so impressed, wood cutting service, superb, they even cut a small piece by hand, nothing was too much trouble. The paint service excellent, they did not have what I wanted in stock however was able to advise when it would be in stock and was very informative about alternative products. A huge range of stock. This kind of store, with really really good staff, that actually care and have a depth of knowledge about the products is well overdue. Fantastic.

Ordered kitchen 03.03.18, and hired their recommended fitter (expensive) started 19.03.18, but no one can confirm delivery of kitchen. In store kitchen planner does not liaise with fitter they leave it all to you. So now I have a fitter in situ but no kitchen for him to fit and no idea when it will arrive. Worried I will be left with unfinished kitchen (as fitter cannot come back and finish) if it is not delivered in time. Very stressed about this and regret not going to BnQ.

I called in store after reading some reviews expecting to buy some DIY bargains but unfortunately it was not the case. Its a good large store with alot of surplus stock from Homebase, I notice their name on products . There is a huge variety of items and you may save a little but definitely not alot.
However the staff are friendly & welcoming, there is a cafe with a small childrens play area and free parking. The store is wheelchair and pushchair accessible.

Ordered a circular saw for store collecrion as it was out of stock, 16 days goes past and nothing, so I popped in to the store to check, after checking the system the staff says it's come in yesterday and goes to the back to check, after 5 mins he comes back and shows me pic on his phone and says your item is in this pile and it'll take me take me another day or two to go through it. What a crappy service…quick to take my money though. Should've just gone to screwfix which I will be from now on.
