They maybe cheap but is it really worth the risk?

In my experience no. I would pay the extra few dollars and book with a reputable company or the airline themselves.

My flights got cancelled due to COVID in April I am still waiting for payment months later. They closed their Sydney office and now have stopped responding to emails. My guess is they will go bankrupt soon and I will lose that money.

They haven't even processed the cancellation. I would stay well away and wouldn't recommend them due to non existent customer service. It's honestly just not worth the risk to lose out on that money for the sack of a few dollars.

It would be nice to know about the baggage not really high lighted booked flights now have to book baggage and not saving any money at all could off flown Quantas for same amount off money that I have just spent and got meals as well

Good service. There were a lot of additional questions and advertisements embedded into the questionnaire, but if you read carefully you will avoid being charged extra for anything. My tickets came through promptly and I have no complaints.

Booking not much of a problem, but I was not able to book any seats without paying nearly A$300, which is totally over the top. Flight is still to come; if that is satisfactory, contact me again.

Budget air mostly provides the cheapest airfare for all well know airlines. There services and support is also excellent. Kudos.. Keep it up!!

I got the confirmantion straight away… and the e-ticket less then 12hrs as mentioned. One of the best prices as well.

They have hidden costs! Beware! I recently booked a ticket with them and when you go to payment, there is a small box of 'Ticket Service' which is checked/tick marked by default and the cost gets added to your ticket. When I called customer service and explained the issue, the lady on the call was extremely rude and refused to listen to me. She first admitted that the system applies that automatically and when I asked for the refund she said "its you who selected the box" and my point was that I never did put a tick there, the system just puts the tick there by default so how can you say no for a refund. The lady said "cancel it, and go book a new ticket" Cancellation charge is 80$ – so basically she told me to pay 80$ and the charge i had paid for Ticket Service was 37$ (so she indirectly told me to go pay more if I had an issue). That's how rude the staff is. Avoid booking through them because The customer service is horrible and you'll be stuck.

Avoid this dodgy Service!!!

I booked 3 tickets via BudgetAir. It took all details and paid the money over $2200. It processed, got booking confirmation and money got deducted from the account. I waited for email but didn鈥檛 get any in 15 minutes. I called the service team to get the email confirmation and Jim informed me that the booking has been not processed! What? How this is possible? I said, money has been deducted from my account and I even got the booking confirmation number. But he said yes but it has been rejected and we have refund you back the money and will be in your account in 2-3 business days. I said, I dont have more funds in account to make bookings and we have to do it today anyhow and they say we cant do much please check with your bank. I spoke with his supervisor and he didn鈥檛 have any answer too. How could you possible take the money out of the account, send the booking confirmation to customer and say later that booking has been rejected! Very very unprofessional service and no doubt that is a way to dodge customers! I will take this matter further. Please save your money and stay away from booking using this service.

I have used BudgetAir a few times now and have been extremely satisfied with the experience. The website user interface is very easy to navigate especially when using my mobile. The flight confirmations always come through quickly afterwards with no fuss.

Decent, clean and efficient fast site to book on. Somehow often a heap cheaper than the rest. Given that most only submit a review when they want to complain, the high rating these guys have is astounding. Imagine how many others must be satisfied?

Although the booking was completed there is no flight itinary such as time take off and landing shown on my e-ticket.

I can see why Budget Air achieve reasonably high ratings on Trust Pilot. I found the booking procedure to be clear and upfront. I had one minor query during the process and the agent I quickly spoke with was helpful and efficient. Tickets were issued promptly enough (ie within a few hours) and appeared in the Airline system immediately.
