this company promised me a refund due to covid flight cancellation in june but still no refund i have used them many times but never again will be using lawyer to take them to small claims court then let the sheriffs do there job blaming the airline is not good enough budget air took the contract

Please try to avoid Budget Air at any cost. I cancelled my flight last year and it has been over 13 months and still have not received my refund, I was informed that the redund was processed (pre-Covid), yet no refund. The contact is lousy and disgusting. Anytime that an email is sent to them, the response from Budget Air is an automated response.
PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PRECIOUS TIME!

Just to update you.

After numerous emails to budget air and receiving a similar reply, i decided to go via the charge back route via my credit card, and within 2 weeks i got all my money back.

I also booked a flight with southall travels in Feb 2020 to goto India in August and they cancelled. They called me to update me and informed me i will get a full refund, and true to there word i received a full refund.

Never ever will use budget air.

only one reply lying to me after phillipine airlines confirmed my flights to vietnam have been cancelled they denied this and offered me the chance to cancel and with charges would have got virtually nothing back.
Pure vermin i have only just started with these rude con artists if my money is not returned soon i will spend hours writing reviews and warning other people not to be scammed .

my flight is cancelled due to corona virus and they sent an email for a full refund. my trip was on march and until now i did not get my refund and they they not picking any phones or replying to emails.

Bought tickets to Almaty through this company, but after some time the airline cancelled our flight(Way before the COVID-19 quarantine). Asked Budget Air for a refund and they agreed but told that our baggage fee is not refundable as per airline conditions. I contacted the airline and they said that it's not the case and then i asked Budget Air to show me where those conditions are mentioned and they just didn't answer.
Our friends who bought tickets to the same flight on through Budget Air received full refund including the baggage fee. They won't answer any call or emails!
I still try to contact them but it seems that they blocked my email because all the options to contact them through their site is greyed out for me.

Sorry to be leaving another negative review(I leave positive ones as well) about Budget Air but after a further phone call to them enquiring after my refund for a cancelled flight I have been told a refund could take up to 5 months(16-25 weeks). Now if you were a family who. had booked a cancelled flight for say a 拢1000plus and were waiting that time to rebook what would you do for money in terms.of booking another flight? TOUGH. 2 Complaints not responded to. The refunds team don't take.phone calls(they don't do.much refunding either) I stress. USE ANOTHER COMPANY. This one is not a fit company and will not treat you fairly or honestly. I will.be leaving a negative review for Budget Air every week until my money which was paid in good faith is returned.There is no other way of stressing to them how poor their customer interaction and service has been.

Booked 3 tickets to Dublin and payment was taken on the 3 October. You're supposed to get a confirmation email 48 hours after purchasing the tickets but I never got one. I then called up to ask where my email was, to then find out that my flights had been cancelled?!

Very annoyed because 1) I never got a confirmation email 2) payment was taken 3) my flights were cancelled but I never got notified of anything 4) they said a refund had been issued but I'm still waiting for it. I know my email address was entered in correctly because when I logged into my account, it worked. The lady I spoke to said an email with the flight cancelling was sent to me and told me to check my emails. I did check my emails, both inbox and spam/junk but got nothing.

Apparently my flights were cancelled because the airline had to approve the tickets before confirmation of my tickets. So why was payment taken and what's the point of this agency if the flights have to be approved by the airline first?!

Very annoyed. No compensation whatsoever. The flights were originally 拢81 and now I've had to pay 拢105 for the exact same flights, directly from the airline. What a waste of time.

Purchased 3 tickets for Saudi
Called up to ask what would happen if I changed my surname on ticket as I was going back to my maiden name and planing on changing it on passport and they said it would be an admin cost of around 50$ only
I went ahead and changed my surname once new passport came I called up to make the change and get advised I have to cancel the ticket and book a whole new one !!!
WHAT A SCAM THEY CLEARLY TOLD ME IT WAS OK TO GO AHEAD AND CHANGE MY SURNAME ON PASSPORT
CALLS ARE RECORDED… IT WAS CLEARLY FALSE INFORMATION FROM THEIR AGENT WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO FORK OUT FOR A NEW TICKET ??? WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER THEY REFUSED ME POINT BLANK

beware travellers!! there is a booking agent website budget air who want to rip of all your money with reshedule which they do not know the meaning of.. I purchased a ticket from Toronto to Seattle and back for 619 CAD on 26 august out and 2 September in to celebrate my nephews birthday and my birthday as well. But some change of plans and we all planned to meet in Vancouver.

when I called budget air to reshedule my destination they wanted to charge a difference between new ticket and my previous ticket…they said I have to pay 95 service fee and 550 difference between new ticket so 619+95+550 would be my overall ticket price in the name of reshedule… but on their website a new return ticket would have costed me only 428 Canadian dollars… all they wanted is to make me to do a new booking for my travel..they do not know the meaning of reschedule.. they do not care about anything else than money. do not go for them or you will definitely would get ripped. by the way I am sitting at my home in Toronto on my birthday and all family plan was devastated because of someone else ie Budget Air with 619 cad less in my account which I saved for 4 months with part time job.. if you are reading this budget air you are bad people really bad..

STOLE OUR MONEY

They refused to refund our money despite months and months of complaints after our flight was cancelled. Do not be tempted to save money, you will not be refunded if anything happens.

Very bad service.. Purchased one ticket to India from Dubai yesterday night. Did not receive e-ticket or mail confirmation yet. Worst part is no one is responding to my emails and the phone is also not working. Please i have paid AED 1,219 from my credit card.. Am very much worried now.

Just when I thought Budgetair's (lack of) customer service couldn't get any worse, they just keep surprising me! The on going issues for obtaining refunds is beyond me, especially when you have to use forums such as this for them to even reply to you. I have now had to PAY them, in order to get a refund, which surprisingly has never happened and they will not reply via email so I have no idea if they have any intention of returning my own money. I appreciate the whole ethos of, it's better in my pocket than there's but this taking it to a whole new level! I wish I'd just gone direct to the airline and paid slightly more, the minimal savings just aren't with the hassle if you have to cancel through no fault of your own, especially when you've given them two months notice before the flight!
