There is no star for rating for extremely very bad bt email upgrade.

The new btinternet email 'upgrade' could is so bad it could put me out of business. Why oh why did they do it. I can only think they want to close down the service and this is their way of getting people to move to other providers because they want to close it down. There is no other plausible explanation. I have just had to send an email (which would not print) to my google mail just so I could print it. It is bonkers!

Its done it for me, I am losing an hour plus a day of working time since the change came and life is tough and stressful enough at the moment without this.

BT's new email is dreadful – no warning of it changing and now no link to yahoo portfolios – years of data lost. Cannot delete effectively – slow – and hardly any settings that can be changed. Absolutely awful upgrade and I pay 拢7.50 a month for this rubbish. Very upset

THE most frustrating app ever. SO SLOW to load and emails displaying in the WRONG ORDER. Have already missed some important emails coming in. How can this be marketed as being an improvement?

Absolutely dreadful new e-mail format, totally unworkable for me. Many moons ago the format was great and easy to work with, but over the years the system has got progressively worse with each update, now to the point where I am seriously considering changing to another company

I try to open one of my emails and a another box opens over this – why is this better ? PLEASE, sort this out BT before I change to something else.

The new BT Internet emails appearance is terrible. Its only saving grace is that the irritating adverts have now gone. When scrolling down and viewing the list of emails, the 'highlight' colour indicating which e-mail you are looking at is so pale that it is almost non-existent and in other areas the colours are similarly wishy-washy and useless. Anyone with less than perfect eyesight will find it impossible to manoeuvre. Want the old layout back but minus adverts instead!!

Cant open e-mails today, contacts lost, mail all jumbled up, when they do open there in a different window now. Is anybody at BT going to do something about it ? what a joke.

What has happened to BT emails!? Horrendous! . . Did anyone at BT even check this supposed update before letting it be released. ….. BAD BAD BAD. Sort this out urgently BT. Give me back my old email layout, it worked fine.

I can't disagree with the reviews here – the screen is very cluttered even when you opt for the simplest display. The font is harder to read. The system is generally slow. Deleting emails is hard (you can't do more than one block at a time). I am only hoping the search facility is improved, as that has been dreadful recently. Anyone know if I can still use my btinternet.com suffix if I change to a different system. I'm hating it.

If I could review without giving a star it would be no stars! Whoever approved this nonsense must be involved in some sort of clandestine project to undermine the company's reputation. Failing that, they were having a seriously bad day! A truly awful app that harks back to former times in its outdated appearance and flawed functionality. Please fix it, BT!

Couldn't agree more with all the 1 star ratings. The new email setup is appalling. How could anyone develop something that is so bad. I could go on and on as to how bad it is but will just have to move my email account with all the hassle that involves.

So at least I'm not the only one. I'm ABSOLUTELY hating this new BTinternet email interface. It takes up too much room on screen, to reply to a message you get a ridiculously small window in which to put your text, so you have to enlarge the window. There's so much scrolling involved in trying to view your emails, and when in an email there's two scroll bars to use. I honestly cannot believe that this was ever user tested. The order of my folders has changed (and I set it up specically so certain things were at the top). Tiny, silly, little arrows to help you move down the list of emails, or folders. Heaven help anyone with sight issues will cope. HOW DO I GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION? HOW DO WE COMPLAIN TO BT?

The more I use this, the worse I find it. I have had it for about 2 weeks now. It is clunky and old fashioned. Endless issues. Contacts is a total mess – it is picking up addresses from 5 years ago that aren't in my address book. When you start typing the name of the person you are emailing, it picks up phone numbers and old addresses and all sorts of nonsense – you basically have to type in all addresses in full each time you send an email. You can't preview attachments, which is a total pain. Layout is too cramped and very dated. Totally rubbish update.

The new BT Web Mail is absolute rubbish, such a backward step, its not easy to sort doesn't respond half the time and has a terrible layout. Also had problems logging in since changeover. One positive, no adverts and that's why its one star, would be zero if I could rte it t that

This is the most appalling downgrading of a service I think I have ever experienced. Folders cant be sorted, the email you've read still appears unread, you cant delete any mail without being told to refresh your screen because it's open somewhere else, you cant see if you've replied to someone so have to go into your sent folder to see … the list is endless. And I'm paying 拢7 a month for the privilege. I went on their chatline to see if I could go back to the older version, but their technician said no regression was possible as the old servers no longer existed!
So I will have to go over to Gmail. What a travesty of what was a good service.

I鈥檓 in tears. I have a group email to send and this awful new system won鈥檛 prompt the addresses. I don鈥檛 know them all off by heart so I鈥檓 doing searches across my inbox and sent boxes to identify each person. I then add to the contacts list ONLY TO FIND THEY ARE ALREADY THERE!!! I am trying to communicate plans for a COVID-19 situation and I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW BAD THIS NEW EMAIL SYSTEM IS!!
Worse still there鈥檚 nobody to help! Where are they???

I absolutely hate this new version…what was wrong with the other…NOTHING..
these so called clever people who change formats… well they are not clever..
its rubbish.. i actually cannot believe that someone somewhere sanctioned this and think its better…

new bt mail is so bad it is unusable, nothing works and the layout / functions are so bad it is hard to believe that they arent trying to get everyone to stop using there service, its the only explanation, How could a company as big as bt create such a crap product. if i could have given it zero stars I would.

I have BT Web-Mail. I am also a former HCI test professional. This application clearly has not been tested at all. It would even fail to get beta approval in an infants school. It is totally unusable. What are the Human Factors dept doing at Martlesham? Are you still there! Say something for God's sake.

Would you buy a car that occasionally started and locked you out with the engine running?

Like we've gone back about 15 years. It was FINE BEFORE!!!

No autofill on contacts… layout gives me headaches… way to busy…

Really poor.
