Want to say thank you to Brother for an amazing laser printer, HL-1112. After looking at various places and seeing printers on line for hundreds, I found this one, which does the job perfect. I did not want colour, just happy to be able to print documents or items needed for example when going on holiday, or cvs etc etc and this HL-1112 printer (at the time of writing it was a mere 拢59) including an ink cartridge, capable of printing many hundreds of A4 sheets in amazing quality.
I was even pleasently surprised when I managed to order 3 extra ink cartridges, for 拢15 from an on line auction site, these came within 48 hours too. No more messing with water inks, and mess everywhere, simply pop the cartidge in (about 7ins wide x 2 ins deep), and you are ready to go.
Full marks Brother, for a value laser printer, which I can clearly see just has everything.

Very poor keeps on saying ink not in stations although it is .
When its running is good but too much messing about Cannon is MUCH better
i would NEVER buy a brother printer again

I purchaced a Brother printer….Model..DCP-L2510D, in July 2019.
I can only say, that, this printer is the best printer i have ever owned.
It prints in black only, and has a USB cable from printer to laptop. But, it is so easy to use. It prints at break-neck speed, and every sheet that is printed, is very clear, and perfect print. I used to own a wireless HP printer. When i tried to print with it, it kept saying, the printer is..offline.
I got that fed up with it, i decided to by a Brother printer. The ink cartridge for my Brother printer will do 1200 A4 sheets. That is excellent economy, as my HP printer would run out of ink after about 50 sheets. I am highly pleased with my new Brother printer.

Very poor service as these guys are notorious for not issuing cash back on legit offers. I bought through Currys bought you have to deal direct with Brother customer service. I registered on their site and got a confirmation that my printer was registered and that I would receive the cash back within next few weeks. Had to call them to chase and was then told it is in hand and to wait. Then emailed them having to chase again to be called up and told I wasnt even registered and they are aware of 'issues' within their website. Took my bank details and confirmed via email that I should get the 拢50 cashback within next 14 days but if not to call them back. They refused to give any sort of compensation and actually had the nerve to lie and say that I was the only one to have ever asked for it. For such a well known brand and massive company their service is shocking. Already having issues with the print and scan quality of the printer I bought MFC-J5335DW and goes through ink really fast with not much use and having to clean the print heads all the time. Would not recommend.

Further news about my brother DCP-1610W printer. It said it needed a new drum so found one at half list price at 拢65. Fitted new drum and print quality is worse than before it was changed. After much heartache i eventually spoke to a nice human who could not fix it and told me since I was out of warranty by six months I could pay for one of their engineers to fix it. No thanks brother, might as well tell me to f*** off. Utter contempt for their customers.

Bought an MFC-J5335DW about 18 months ago and, at first, thought it was good. However, I don't use it much, so when I DO need to print something I nearly always have to clean the print heads thoroughly. In my opinion if you don't use a printer regularly, don't buy one of these. It probably costs you more in ink, having to clean the heads so often, than it does in actual print usage! Very disappointed.

I bought j6530dw about a year and half ago – A big mistake
I used it for my company but do not use the colour often
but then the printer said i could not use it again till I bought a colour
ink cartridge – i bought an expensive set @ 拢82.00 from curries was tempted by a fake one on line but decided to go for brothers instead! – I tried it but no colour – the printer said my colour ink needed replacing again – brother said the cleaning process uses some ink but i would need to buy another set to create a print report (拢82.00 )? they also said they would pick up the cartridges for checking though with out the report they would consider i have used the ink

If I had read these reviews before I would not have bought a Brother printer. First of all, the printer set had non USB cable, which is ridiculous as it's needed to setup the printer. A USB cable is a cheap thing but it's very annoying to receive a product that cannot function due to a missing part.
Secondly, I couldn't (and can't) register the product. So I wrote to the support for assistance… Once, twice… No answer. Then I received a satisfaction survey. Hilarious. Not very satisfied indeed. I wrote a third time but as it seems they can't care less. And the fact that here they don't even try to answer this flock of unsatisfied customers, is a confirmation of carelessness plain and simple.
My suggestion: change your motto, "At your side" doesn't really suits you. Try better with: "Get lost".

Took forever to set up wireless. "Support" online could not be less helpful — horrible written, larded with jargon, totally unhelpful. It could not be more worthless if it were written in hieroglyphics. Every single page comes out creased — badly. Nothing changes that — I've adjusted the tray, followed the "support" suggestions. EVERY SINGLE PAGE IS BADLY CREASED. TOTALLY UNUSABLE PRINT-OUTS.

Worst company ever, I ve had my printer 14months,I鈥檝e printed 270 pages in all. It now refuses to print anything. I have been on to customer services, and they have put me on to customer support where you load down an app, and type messages to each other. Surely a machine shouldn鈥檛 break down after only printing 270 pages,that鈥檚 20pages per month, I am now suppose to take it to be repaired at my own expense. Well that鈥檚 the first and last time I will ever buy a Brother which is an expensive machine, It canon all the way 拢50, lasted for years

By far the worst customer service I've experienced with any company! As soon as something goes wrong, almost no support is given…the customer service team is terrible and not helpful at all. Would not recommend for anyone to purchase items from this company.

Less than two months ago I bought a Brother MFC-L2730DW printer. Great Easy to set up and worked a dream. After heavy use I managed without difficulty to replace the (Brother) toner cartridge. All went well until I had to replace the cartridge again (and again an authentic Brother one). All I got after repeated attempts to correctly replace the cartridge were bleeping messages saying 'replace the cartridge'. I contacted 'Brother help' with an email. They sent back a message giving me the useless information I'd already found online. They then said they'd call but they haven't. The only phone number I could find works only 'working hours' Monday to Friday. So it looks as if I have no way having a conversation with a human being to find a solution to what I guess must be a simple problem for three days. This is so last century. Can't get out of my relationship with Brother now, but wish I could. Not recommended.

This is not a review about the printers themselves but i think its fair to share the review with their promotional partners who sell printers on their behalf.

Brother should be thinking who they should run promotions with as it reflects equally about them as the company selling them.

Please see my review regarding STAPLES below.

Absolutely shocking experience with Staples UK Online.

It is shocking that "Brother" who make printers associates themselves with such a shambles of a company.

So there was a recent promotion going around heavily advertised online and various promotional sites, Brothers website as well as Staples Online.

Our Company was in need of a new printer for the office so we thought to take this opportunity of the offer and purchase due to the timing being right.

We placed an order online 12/02/19 with Staples online with the relevant promotion. We were promised next day delivery if ordered before 7pm that day which we did. We also ordered a set of toner cartridges at the same time.

We received email confirmation that the toner was on its way and assumed this would be along with the printer.

Next day waited in and nothing arrived by mid-afternoon so logged in online to check the order status. The status for the printer was showing as "processing" it was coming close to 3pm and no printer had arrived.

So decided to give Staples a call. After hanging on for over 20 minutes I spoke to a really rude customer service representative who barked down the phone that she has no idea why its in processing and maybe our card declined and best to speak to credit department. I was confused as there would be no reason for the company card to decline as there were sufficient funds nevertheless we had to wait a further 20 mins before we spoke to credit.

Credit were just as confused as me and said no issues with credit, its "another" issue which the don't know or cannot reveal to me and sent me back to speak to customer services again.

Bearing in mind i had almost wasted an hour so far on the phone, specifically waiting in for a printer that hadn't arrived as well as zero explanation as to what was going on with it.

After speaking to customer services I got so fed up speaking this lady who was not listening to my concerns and instead was just barking orders down the phone and saying I need to call back when the status of the order has been approved. I requested to speak to a manager as i had enough of speaking to her.

Marina was the manager who i spoke to by now we are nearing over an hour and half in time being wasted with regards to this printer.

Marina explained that there was an internal issue with the offer and that its being "investigated" and she PROMISED that she would call or email me before the end of the day with an outcome and if the printer didn't arrive today then she will try and arrange for tomorrow.

She was fully aware of the frustration of the situation I left it in her hands as she sounded over the phone to be more than capable of sorting this issue out.

By the end of play i had recevied NO phonecall from Marina, shocked and maybe should have expected such appalling service given by how my experience had started.

I tried calling them early evening but their offices had closed.

14/02/19 Feeling already let down by Marina as she hadnt called me the day before, the printer hadn't arrived, no email corrospondence either.

I decided to call Staples in the morning, service going from bad, to shockingly bad only to be told that the printer order had been "CANCELLED" with no reason for the explantion.

Wow this was an absolute shock, maybe not as i expected poor service but this has been my worse expeirences shopping online.

We spend 100's a month with Amazon business and Viking Direct but this was our FIRST and will be the LAST with Staples.

I was absolutely gobsmacked, I asked to speak to Marina who wasn't around nor was any other manager which is dissapointing how can you run a large business with the name like Staples without a supervisor or manager.

My experience is been shocking and I will make it a mission to stay away from Staples in the future and would encourage others if you value your time, money, sanity please order from elsewhere.

Our experience with Amazon Business and Viking Direct has always been amazing, I have no idea why we even considered Staples. Should have read the previous negative reviews.

The icing of the cake , the toner arrived but no printer.

My word of advice to Staples.

1. If your going to offer promotions online don't hook people in and then let them down.
2. Dont promise what you can't deliver
3. Hire telephone staff who care about customer service
4. Hire managers who take responsibility in what they promise and carry out the actions not leave customers in the lurch.

I am using one of the best models of Brother printers, it is HL – L2395DW. This is such a wonderful product. Printings are perfect with good quality. One of the best parts is it makes the job quicker than ever. I strongly prefer this printer to the office premises. Also, this is named the best home printers. I have a brother printer for business. 34 mins on Brother chatline, AB no help. i then suggested I call their helpline which I did. I then go a delightful chap.I was told to reinstall driver. still did not work , but no follow up. Called helpline again. Another delightful chap.No help. Hogmonay. Apparently the senior team had gone home one hour early, so no scanner for two days…Despite being on chatline/ phone for over an hour ….Disappointing …..

Terrible product and terrible customer service. They dont take any ownership of their product although within warranty! We will take legal advice to deal with this company as it looks like they are very irresponsive to solve the problems.

I am a self-employed business owner who is either using my iPhone or Mac to do work in and out of the home. I went to Office Works and did some research on what would be more convenient for my home business. The HL-L2305W model was the one that other peoples' reviews were quite positive. Office Works offers a full refund if I did not like the product. Cost $100.

Well, when I brought it home and set it up on my MacBook, it was easier than thought. It's connected wirelessly to my wifi and I have the capability of printing documents from either my phone or Mac. Thumbs up!

It only prints black and white, and one sided, but that's all I need for my business. I've had it for nearly 2 months and it has not troubled me in any way.

Just FYI, to be able to print from your phone you'll need to download the brother app from the appstore. It's so easy! There is another model that looks just like this printer but costs a bit more and that is because it prints both colour and both sides. I'm happy with this model that I purchased.

It's been nearly 2 months now, and I've been printing at least 5 documents on average a day. The ink hasn't dried out or dulled yet. We shall see how long it will last before I need to get another.

My previous printer was Canon, but my first purchase of this Brother printer is a big thumbs up!

If you want to be buying inks on a regular basis to feed this machine then this is the printer for you, model number is MFC-J5625DW. I replaced an entire set at the end of January and yes they were genuine Brother replacements, and less than 9 weeks on after light use they are neary all on low, this is the third time this has happened. I will NOT be buying another brother product and would suggest that others do the same as this is by far the most uneconomical copier I have ever owned. Also the quality was nowhere near as described right from the day the machine was purchased. If anyone from Brother is willing to contact me then I am happy to listen. Not at all happy.
