Brooks Running

Just did my first run with new Brooks Glycerin 18 trainers. Lovely sky blue colour with a a great fit. Ample support around the collar area. The stand out feature is the cushioning which really feels responsive without being too spongy. As I race towards my mid 50's joint protection becomes a priority and I think Brooks have done a superb job with these

I'm wearing my very first Brooks sneakers, addiction. Not sure what the hype is about. Seriously it feels like a cheap sneakers. I was recommended Brooks Addiction with light feet insoles for plantia Fasciitis. I have been loving wearing Fila disruptor and Windsor Smith chunky sneakers. Brooks addiction hurt my arch and my toes so much first few hours. I'm a nurse and I'm on my feet a lot plus I do over 15 k steps walk daily. I'm disappointed about my $240 buy.

I've been running a few years in any old shoes and I'm regularly doing 30+k a week. I have never had any pain in 10k distance but get a slight knee pain with over 15k. I also have slightly fallen arches and my feet fall to the inside as a run.

I decided it ws time to get some real shoes, so I went in for a gait analysis and shoes.

They told me the Brooks Defyance was the shoe for me.

I ran a short 3k round the park and I was in agony. This pain was in my right arch lasted for several days. I was unable to walk properly, much les run. The pain was muscular not skeletal.

I jave contacted Brooks about this but no response. Even with there amazing 90 Day trail I am still unable to get this issue sorted with Brooks.

Apparently they are only interested in selling you anything just so long as it is an expensive something.

Put simply, look elsewhere.

I love brooks sneakers but the last pair I had ripped, they have two tears in them same sneaker they are the sneakers with the mesh. I just bought a new pair but went with new balance because of that.

Really great service from the company and Anna who was dealing with enquiries. I don't quite understand the negative reviews here.
I bought some trainers for my mum who has bunions and gets painful feet with many shoes. My mum said the ghost 12 were the most comfortable shoes that she ever worn. She got to try the trainers for 90days and picked the one that was the most comfortable.
Customer service has been top notch and we will be buying more from Brooks in the future.

I have got the ghost 13 a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely fantastic, really soft and plenty of room in the toe box. The first shoe that doesn鈥檛 hurt my toe nails. It鈥檚 true to it sizing.I have just completed my first ever Marathon in them. My foot didn鈥檛 hurt at all unlike the other running shoes I had before.Really comfortable, highly recommended.

Giving 3 stars is hard for me because I love Brooks shoes. However, it seems like recently they narrowed their shoes. I always have worn normal width shoes and even have normal width of older versions of their shoes (that still fit). They do not have a good supply of wide shoes. I tried the Richochet 2 and it made my feet tingle and hurt after being loosened as much as possible. The same is happening with the Levitate 3. The styles are awesome, sales are awesome, and return policy is the best!

Don't understand these poor reviews… People with no patience perhaps? I bought a pair of running shoes but they were a little large. I went for 3 runs, decided this, packed them up and took advantage of their 90 day no quibble returns. It took them about 2 weeks to refund me, but given the struggles of companies at the moment this is reasonable.

I have also had another pair of Brooks and they have been great!! They were a little tight on the toe so thought I'd go a size up.. This was a mistake.

Great shoes and great company.

Ordered my third pair of Brooks trainers, after really liking my first two pairs, having had no issue with either of them. My third pair arrived in March 2020, and before I had even done 200 miles in them, the inside of the heel began to wear away. I decided at 350 miles that I needed to complain about them as, by that time, they had worn all the way down to the solid structure of the heel and had become uncomfortable to wear. I had owned them for only 4 months and had done less than 200 miles in them by the time they started to deteriorate. But because I didn鈥檛 complain to Brooks until 350 miles, they said that they had served their purpose, as their 鈥榣ifespan鈥?was for 300 to 500 miles, or 6 to 12 months of use (300 miles being, to my mind, a pretty low bar to set for a 拢120 pair of trainers). Because I hadn鈥檛 known that I needed to complain before the 300 mile marker, they said they wouldn鈥檛 help me, despite the trainers鈥?demise having happened prior to that point. I complained further, and was asked to send my receipt plus photographs of the condition of the shoe (sole and upper), which I did. Brooks then responded to say that their 鈥榝oot specialist鈥?has determined (without having asked me), that I must have ruined the inside heel of the shoes myself, by putting them on and taking them off without undoing the laces, which is categorically not true. Nor does it account for the fact that I have not had this issue with either of my two previous pairs of Brooks trainers. To wriggle out of admitting that they have sold me a very expensive pair of inadequate trainers that need replacing or refunding, and to directly point the blame on me, is appalling. I have only ever used the shoes correctly and for their intended purpose. I have owned them for 4 months, and their demise began after only 2. They don鈥檛 seem to comprehend that good customer service leads to repeat customers. Unfortunately, I shall be taking my loyalty elsewhere. If I could give zero stars to review Brooks Running, I would. Shocking customer service, and extremely poor quality product.

Fantastic Service!

I ordered my trainers a couple of weeks ago. I was informed that the delivery would take a bit longer due to the pandemic. Once I received the shoes, I had no problem, and then asked for additional insoles and laces, Brooks was very kind to send them free of charge! Love my new Bedlam 2 runners, delightful service!

Ordered a pair of Shorts which DHL delivered to a wrong address. Now Brooks says its not their problem and I need to track down DHL. I paid a premium price for the running shorts but got terrible service. Still waiting after 4 weeks. Dont order from them!

Brooks was once the best shoe available; they have now decided to make a far cheaper show and drive the company into the ground. It's the old bait and switch. In my state of Tennessee, USA it is a violation of law. Write to your state or country's attorney general. Brooks is leaving themselves open to class action litigation.

I bought my first pair of Brooks shoes a year ago, and they have done me good service, as I got almost 10 months of frequent running out of them. However, Brooks are yet to release a real performance enhancing shoe, unlike Nike for example, and so I view my shoes as honestly mostly just ordinary running shoes, at a cost of around 拢100 compared to ASICS who are much cheaper for similar quality. Still, I would like to heap praise on something small but very important – the shoelaces. Since I bought the shoes, I have not undone the laces once – they just do not come undone at all when running, a problem I experienced frequently with my previous pair from New Balance.
I like my Brooks running shoes, but I would love to see them produce a real performance shoe, which I would certainly prefer to buy from them than from Nike.

I bought a pair of Brooks ghost 12 shoes in March costing 鈧?40.They were used moderately but within 3 months there is a hole in the big toe of one and the other has ripped across the area between the toes and laces. I contacted customer service who initially responded asking for more photos of the shoes. I immediately sent them on as requested but now am being ignored. I have sent several emails,as well as contacting them on twitter and Facebook and three weeks on have heard nothing. I have worn Brooks for years and hence the repurchase but these shoes are not fit for purpose and the customer service is shoddy and at this point non existant.

Ordered some trainers from Brooks over a week ago. Although they were in stock they have still not been despatched yet Brooks took my money on the day of order. E-Mail enquires have not been answered. It would appear that this company is not coping well with COVID.

I ordered a pair of shoes on 4th June. Immediately I had put in the order I realised I had ordered size 7.5 whereas I wanted size 8. I emailed straight away to ask if my order could be amended to size 8 and also tried to ring customer service three times but each time was cut off after 60 minutes with a voice message saying thank you for calling please call again.

The day after I ordered the shoes I had an email to say that the specialist team would look at my request. I wonder how specialist you have to be to change an order from size 7.5 to size 8.

I emailed a second time to ask that the shoe size be changed but this time had no reply.

Today the shoes arrived and they are size 7.5. I cannot understand how their customer service can be so appalling. I had read reviews saying that the customer service for Brooks Running in the UK is dire and I can see that they are right. It's completely shocking and particularly as American companies are usually so good with customer service.

Absolutely shocking. Customer service non-existent. I ordered a pair of trainers 30 days ago. I understand with the current global pandemic dispatch and delivery would take a bit longer, their website and confirmation email says 10-15 days. I am yet to recieve a dispatch email, yet to recieve responses to my 4 emails sent to customer service and they do not have a functioning phone line. Everytime I call, it states they are currently busy call back later. I was starting to think maybe I had purchased from a fraudulent website, I have checked several times and this is the genuine Brooks store. Ideally I just want my money back but without being able to contact anyone I'm left feeling robbed.

Awful online experience – avoid

Ordered a pair of shorts, 12 days later they arrived. Didn't quite match my expectations with regard to the quality of the goods or the service.

I've decided to return the shorts but both the links to create a return on the website are broken. I've also tried calling the support number but it seems it is un-staffed.

I honestly thought Brooks were a leading running brand but this will be my first and last time I use them.

I had purchased Ghost runners from Brooks.com. The parcel arrived within a few days, but unfortunately after two runs I decided to return them.

It's great to have the option to return the shoes if you weren鈥檛 satisfied with them, even if the shoes were used. I received a refund within 9 working days.
However, what was really off putting was the practically non-existing customer service. No communication via emails or phone.

Brooks running shoes are not what they used to be. They are a lot of money for what they are and the quality is terrible.
