I ordered some earrings as a birthday present. According to the site orders take 2 weeks to fulfil.

After two weeks came and went I contacted Bristol Blue Glass to check on the status of my order and was told to call back the next day as the earring person wasn't in. No offer to take a message or chase on my behalf.

Called again the following day and was told my order wasn't going to be ready for another week. I said that it was a birthday present and that the date had now passed and received a disinterested 'oh well'.

A week after that I called again and was told it would be another few days – it did turn up a few days later.

I guess when you're trading on such a prestigious name, customer service can be non-existent. I'm sure most of the orders placed are intended to be gifts so most people will want goods within the time specified.

I wouldn't use again and definitely wouldn't recommend them.
