if and then I check my ING bank statements i have come across it every month ing has money transfer from my account called ing and asked them why? The money which we have transferred is our activities…..
Ing is ridiculous they are bunch of thieves!

Disaster bank, makes me post 3 times a letter to get insight in my old banking details. Aint replying the first 2 times and 3th time I get a reply that it will cost 60 euros. Makes my cry

I am a 20 year old student living in london. because of a phone theft i have not had access to my student loan SINCE JULY. ING have been incredibly unhelpful and made the recovery of access to my account impossible. It has caused so much distress. They told me several times i had to come to the netherlands in person to change my details and regain access to my account. IN A PANDEMIC! help 🙁

ING bank customer service is the worst experience I ever had. The customer service telephone line is supposed to be accessible from 8am – 10pm on this line in Belgium. But it feels like I am trying to win a lottery. I have been trying to call them, they are very difficult to reach. I am giving up. This is not the first time I call this number: 0032 2 464 60 04, it is always the same, you have to wait for very, very, very long time listening to their music…… They need to improve their service, otherwise, it doesn't make sense to print their contact telephone number everywhere ( accessible from 8am – 10pm). This isn't true.
I have an account at BNP Paribas Fortis bank, their service is much better.

In Belgium there is support from the banks to the people because of corona, temporarily we dont have to pay for our mortage.
ING approved this benefit for me. Few months later i received an email that they suddenly reverse this benefit and will take the unpaid amounts from the past months in 1 time from my bank account.
The reason was that i am renovating my appartment, this is information they knew from the beginning. They knew it because im temporarily only paying interest back during my renovation (and no capital).
There was no way of talking with ING about this, they didnt even answer my questions about this. FIRST TIME AND LAST TIME I TRUST THIS BANK!!!
Take my advice and stay away from ING.

Wanted to do a simple change of address and access code renewal. 9 phone calls, probably 3 hours at it. Still could not do it, their verification system seems to be in a closed loop, we are circling indefinitely. Nice people on the phone but worst system I ever enountered with a bank. Bureaucratic nightmare. NEVER AGAIN ANYTHING WITH ING

Worst services ever! The worst bank I鈥檝e been to.The poorest services I ever experienced. If I want to change some money in euro they increase drastically the euro. In the start was 4.870 and after I introduced the amount of money they changed to 4.934. In so sorry that I opened an account at ing.

The worst bank ever. 3 credit cards are missing from me. They never came to my address. And one debit card too was sent and i never got it. When i was talking with the clients service the last time a woman hang up the phone to me and she said she can't help me. Probably a corrupted person is working in the bank in the sending department and giving information to the post man, so it smells like a fraud group is working. I will definitely change the bank already. If i can give -10 in the rewiew i will do it. Not feeling safety at all with this bank.

People who work there are morons or sitting there and think they diserve for money by doing nothing. Somebody stole my moms money, I've been with her in Bank to do some things and they Block her account. She can't log in right now and do anything, and she have to print transaction and go to the police. They don't want to help us because they don't believe us it's her account. It's really hard to understand my moms dutch it's not perfect and I only tried to help me. How she supose to veritify herself when I she don't understand the question, and Moron don't understand I'm her son

If I could give them a negative number of stars it would be -100. My fiancee has been working on a building project in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus when his account was hacked for 100K. They shut his account down and will not give him access until he comes into the bank in person. Only he cant come in because he is stranded in Cyprus. He is being held hostage by both the bank and the Turkish people because of tax owed on his project which he cannot pay because he cant get access to his money. This has gone on for over a year. Countless calls to the bank to help resolve this have gone no where. Please, please help us. This is a living hell.

After MONTHS of trying to open a youth bank account for my 15yo daughter we have just GIVEN UP. Although we could provide passport, medicare, bank account from another bank all with our address on it, they required either a drivers licence, student ID card with an address on it (we don't have those things) or a letter from the school principal witnessed by another teacher. So after going to great lengths to get this letter, we STILL COULDn't open the account because the way the witness had signed it was "incorrect". So we went ONLINE to BEYOND BANK (our normal bank) and OPENED AN ACCOUNT IN 5 minutes using Medicare and Passport ID. CRAZY!!!!!!

HORRIBLE BANK FOR EXPATS.WHERE TO START FROM?PHONES DO NOT RESPOND.CLIENT SERVICE ZERO.I AM WAITING MY PIN FOR 2 MONTHS.MY CARD WAS NOT ACTIVATED BY THE BANK WHEN I RECEIVED IT. Horrible bank, went to open a business account 8 days ago, they said it takes max 5 days, I ask the reason why does it take so long she sais, yes because you're not fully dutch, you're not born in holland and we need to finnish the background check and it can take 3 weeks, i've been client with ING now for 9 years, I will close all my accounts from there and move to another bank…

I called 2 days in a row so last night 3rd of July and today the 4th. I had the same person on the phone, she said Herminia or something like that on both days.
She treat clients like she is talking to her neighbors , very poorly and umpolite almost yelling. She was prepotent and she SHOULD NOT be working in any position in customer service.
I hang out since she didn't let me speak.
Please set the recorded conversation +/- at 11:00pm and yesterday about 10:30pm I think.
That is NOT THE WAY TO TREAT YOUR CLIENTS!!!..I couldn't even ask for the help I need it in the first place.
This conversation with Herminia was made in perfect Spanish .
I hope she won't be longer in ING customer services.

Wish i could give them 1 star. Worst customer service ever. I couldnt access my account when i moved home due to not having the same phone number to access my moblie login. I tried to email them to get help over a month ago and they wont even reply to me!!! I couldnt call them due to the massive rate it cost to call the Netherlands from my home country and the only way was through email (which i sent two of). Still waiting a reply. Disgusting service. Never using ING again.

Actually if I would have the possibility I won't give no star at all . The call center useless 70 % is incompetent liar's !!! If I don't know about something then I just don't give information about it. The soon as possible will change bank . So if you need information just ask google, possibly he have more valid information than the people's who you might talk with

Worst fu**ing customer service ever, and dont get me started on the policy.
I handed them a proof of enrollment for University valid for 2019/2020.
And they charge me 6 EUR, when they know I am a student.
Everything in Dutch, not expat-friendly at all.
I thought I麓d ask for that money back, and customer service was unwilling to say their name, nor pass me to a manager, nor give me a refund for freaking 6 EUR!! is it too much to as?!
At the end of the day, if they do the same to 1 million students, nobody complaints, they get 6 Million, no questions asked.
Of course it is impossible to reach them via email or chat, only call.

Unfortunately I have to conclude that ING has no respect for small entrepreneurs. Offices where, among other things, retailers and catering entrepreneurs can deposit their cash, simply close and abandon their customers. This without any announcement except on the door of the closed office. I now have to go 40 km 3 times a week. drive to deposit the cash with a seal bag. Really shame.

Extremely racist employees. I highly suggest avoid this bank at all costs. Ing is simply my worst banking experience and I completely regret ever opening an account in this bank.

Opening the bank account was like going on a boat through storm, it took me 1 month to have everything in place ( they even copy my surname wrong from my passport and had to order a new card, true story I know). But then it took 2 months to my boyfriend for opening a bank account, the employee in the bank were rude, chatty and not helpful.
Customer service is reaaaalyy rudeee every time I call. we are having an issue now with some bank transfer. When presenting the problem by phone, the customer service expert said he cannot help at all and closed the phone in my face, even though I had more questions. When trying to reach out to them through FB messenger, customer care is using irony and satire instead of concrete help. They cannot check transactions I have made, they associate Ibans of institutions with different and wrong names, their system is a mess and when asked for explanation, they are not able to answer any of these questions.
Ing worst choice of my life, every step I take with them is bad.
You should definitely revise your financial advisory personel and your customer service as well.
Avoid this bank, nothing can be worse than this anyway 😉
