I found on Facebook a person who was selling macbook pro much cheaper than the market price, I turned to him to buy a macbook pro.聽 The cost of the macbook pro he had was $ 2350. On January 5th 2020 at聽18:00 Eastern time I聽agreed with him for $ 2200, I wanted to send money through the cash app, but the name on the cash app was not his name (Omotayo Ogungbeye and his name聽 actually Hamad Maurice), which made me suspicious.聽 But he convinced me that he was not cheating and sent some information (photo ID certificate) about聽himself and promised that the macbook will be at my door in 36 hours.聽 So I believed him and sent 2200$聽through the cash app On January 5th聽2020, 18:10 Eastern time.聽 He sent me a receipt and聽a tracking number.聽 It was an incomprehensible delivery service and their site was incomplete.聽 But on January 8th 2020,聽Wednesday afternoon, I checked聽the tracking number, and it said聽that I have to pay another $ 500 clearance fee, I turned to him and he said聽that I have to聽pay $500.聽 So I said that I will not give these $ 500 since I am already confining in their veracity.聽 I asked him why he did not send via fedex or ups as usual, but to this he replied that in fact it is.聽 But then I saw聽that the delivery service for which he sent was聽a completely different company and it is called Navs Logistics.聽 Then I demanded my money back from him, but he did not answer me during the day, I tried to contact the courier who delivers my macbook, and his number was constantly not available, and I took his number on the site in the contacts section.聽 I texted him on WhatsApp, and he said that I have to pay $ 500. And than seller contacted me again and said that he will聽solve the problem.聽 On January 13th 2020,聽18:34 Eastern time, he again told me that I have to pay $ 820 and the person who delivers also wrote to me that I have to pay $ 820.聽 I went to the site and checked聽the tracking number and there it showed聽that I have to pay a clearance fee of $ 850.聽 I demanded that he send me a macbook pro without these fees or give the money but he answered聽to me that this is my聽problem, if I want to get the macbook I have to pay 820$, otherwise no.聽 I wrote to him that is not good,聽what he answered is "it's a just business man".聽 They did not even give me the address where I should pick up the macbook pro from, they do not answer a direct call, I only contacted聽with them through聽WhatsApp.聽 I think these guys seller and delivery company聽work together and scamming聽people in this way.聽 I have all the correspondence, I kept everything as evidence.聽 Please help in resolving this situation according to the laws of America.聽 I believe that such scammers should be punished, as many people may suffer in the future.聽 And I also believe that such scammers should not exist in America.
