Recently purchased a shirt and vest from Infectious Threads. After placing the order I noticed on their website that both the shirt and vest were eligible for free shipping.

I contacted Andee Barnhart and inquired about the free shipping. His response was: That is because the Free Shipping promotion started on Sun 12/17 and you placed your order on Friday 12/15. None of our sales are retroactive. Im very sorry about that!

I then asked EXACTLY where does it specify that on your website? Andee's response was: It doesn't specifically state that phrasing on our website. However, it is an industry-wide standard policy. So sorry about that! Andee

"An industry-wide standard policy"???? Instead of reimbursing me the $38 for shipping I got some lame excuse about an "industry-wide standard policy." Buyer beware.

Infectiousthreads has a great range of gothic, cyber, fetish, and steampunk clothing and some of the best tutus (believe me, they make them fashionable). However, prices on their original stuff such as the tunics, dresses, and tank tops are extremely expensive for what they seem to be. I'm not prepared to drop $50 (plus s&h) on a tank top with some tulle on the bottom just to review whether it's worth that much.

Everything else is great, but give sewing and painting a stab before buying one of their tanks or tunics.
