Independence Van Lines

Please, please DO NOT USE this company. I can't tell you enough how horrible they are. They are liars, a complete scam and everything they tell you on the phone is a complete lie. Don't think they are an option because they are nice on the phone or their cost is affordable. ALL LIES.

I got a call from a guy called Bob West which was super helpful, he was telling me how lucky I was because he had a truck going from Denver to Boston on that specific day I needed the move to happen. I asked about storage and he said he would give me 2 months free storage and the long carry fee could be just $50. ALL LIES! I made a deposit to them of $1.185.50 and I was expecting them the next day.

I had a specific day that I needed the move to happen because I was travelling after, I asked several times if he could confirm me the move on that day and he said "Of course, just wait for our call between 1pm to 3pm and the team will be there to pick up your stuff". ALL LIES! They called me on the pick up day, saying the move was the day after, they were not present when Bob West gave me the 2 months free storage and long carry fee so they couldn't do it. Also, there was never a truck in Denver going to Boston. They never appeared on that day, they tried to book the next day for the move to happen and I asked a friend to open the door for me as I was not in the country anymore. When I tried to forward the quote to my friend, the quote was gone and it said "Congratulations on your move on 11/6. Any questions contact customer service". THE MOVE NEVER HAPPENED and they ARE REFUSING TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM.

They outsource to other moving companies, some of which are very sketchy. They increased the price by $1400 and would hang up on my overtime I asked for an explanation. Eventually they threatened to just sell all my stuff because I was "being too difficult". I had no choice but to pay. When I got my items they were sopping wet and several things were broken and my clothes were moldy. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the worst experience with a professional company in my life.

Another great experience moving with Independence Van Lines! This is the fourth time we have hired them in the space of five years for various moves. Matt and Dominic were friendly, professional, and energetic, and they very efficiently moved my son's furniture and belongings from one apartment to another one a few miles away. Well done!

This is my second time using independence van lines in three years, and this time is even better than the first. They beat every other estimate for movers that i contacted, and as a repear customer i receive a 5% discount. What more can you honestly ask for?

I have nothing bad to say these guys were professional and classy. Clean cut strong guys moved my stuff with expertise. I didnt have to lift a single thing. Very punctual and professional.

Thanks for going out of your way and doing a good job with my move. When i say going out of your way, i mean that the men that came to move our things worked very hard to make sure everything went perfectly. On top of that, they also answered all of my questions related to moving. All in all, it has been an amazing move because of course things could of went much worse.

Movers that stick to their word and get the expected work done according to plan. No BS on their hard, just a commitment to delivering your things within the agreed time frame. Now that's what im talking about!

What a pleasant company these guys operate. Very helpful. I have nothing but respect for Independence Van Lines because they showed my belongings and me nothing but respect. They were respectful on every call with every conversation. Their communication skills are top notch and A1. These guys get 5 stars from me and an A+++++ rating in my book.

These guys were absolutely awesome. The crew of guys were very respectful and really seemed to enjoy their job. They brought great vibes and high energy. There's nothing worse than a worker who does not enjoy their jobs and these guys were not that at all. They came to work and made what I felt to be a unattainable task seem like light work. A lot of people would not go out of their way to even help pack things and let alone do any extra work so its really cool that all their customers are happy!

Thanks to Independence my move went very smoothly. As moving is already beyond stressful they provided a service that was satisfactory. The professionalism this company practices reduced my stress from the chaos of the move. Everything was all out of sorts. I did not have time to get all my items packed in time. When the crew arrived they showed up ready for work and packed the rest of my things nice and neat and took it a step further than myself and labled the boxes. Very thankful i hired them.

If i could give then stars then i would but it seems that's not really possible. However, five stars for starters is a good gagude of their effectiveness. Giving independence van lines a call, you'll know that they are fully committed to making you a happy customer and will do everything possible to make that happen. Nothing more to add here!

Our stuff arrived last night…there is one broken coffee table and they explained the reimbursement process so I'm pretty relieved with that. Everything else looks good, and considering this was a three bedroom move, i think they did a pretty good job, considering all the circumstances.

I've never used trustpilot before聽but i want to leave my review聽for as many people as possible. Independence van lines did amazingly well with our relocation. If you end up reading this review, i think you should give them a try because they are a great company that goes to very high聽lengths to make their client happy. Thats what they did for me and I'm thrilled.

Not much to say except that they did a fantastic job and stuck to their guns when it came to relocation expertise. If I could give independence van lines more than fice stars then I definitely would because in my opinion they deserve it for their hard work in making this move go smoothly.

I give independence van lines five stars for moving us under difficult conditions in the middle of the coronavirus epidemic. They used plenty of precautions and safety measures to make sure that they, us, and all of our things were safe. Professionalism throughout the whole move without a shadow of a doubt.

Personally, we are very grateful for finding and using independence van lines when we are dealing with the coronavirus all over the country. Many moving companies simply turned us down because they were not able to get the job done. On the other hand, independence quickly moved us without any issues whatsoever! Thats what i called commitment to doing things right.

My experience exceeded my expectations.锘?They called to let me know what time they would arrive and were on time! All were professional and courteous. They were very friendly and very careful with our belongings. On moving day they explained things, worked fast and carefully, and made sure that they were placing things where I wanted them too. We had an extremely big move from Florida to new york. The team came on time, wrapped and boxed all my belongings with proper care and loaded on the truck without a hitch. They completed the move before the schedule and I decided to check the inventory by myself. It was great to see all my belongings arrived in one piece and without any damage. I have moved two times and both times I used Independence van lines to help me. They are the most affordable and the guys go over and above what they should to make everything easy. Both times my stuff arrived on time and everything in great condition. I'm recommending them to anyone who needs a mover not only for the prices but also the quality and customer service.
