I can't speak for buyers outside Australia, but if you live here DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I had a parcel bought in August through ebay. Parcel was lost by their courier (RR Donnelley), please check courier company's reviews for yourself.

They first blamed the courier. I got in touch with the dodgy courier who was even more dismissive than them. They claimed parcel was delivered but refused to provide proof.

They then offered a reshipment which I agreed to(this is mid October almost 2 months after purchase) Then they claimed items were sold out. Then promised a refund, Have not refunded and stopped replying to my messages. I had to involve ebay and am still waiting for a resolution after almost 3 months.
Again there is a reason why they charge a couple dollars less, NOT WORTH IT.

Moronic business practices, what an embarrassment because of a few dollars, way to go!

Received ordered CD damaged they offered 10 % that I felt was not enough had them send a prepaid label to ship back to them only received the cost of the CD not the shipping. Just to get the shipping label took days and had to send photos of the damage case. Poor packing and customer service never again service sucks

I agree with the other reviews. Everything is fine, until you get a problem. Then no customer support.
I bought a CD advertised as new; they sent a used CD, dirty, marks on booklet; then refused to refund or make a re-delivery.
The customer representative sarcastically told me I could cancel the order and return an "unwanted" item at my own expense.

Purchased an album from ImportCD via eBay several months back. The wrong item arrived and when I wanted to return it they advise that they had no 鈥渇ree returns鈥?set up with Australia, I needed to pay for the return, I provided them with a quote for return post and confirmed again that they would pay it.

To cut a long story short, album returned which they refunded the cost of, but after weeks of we will refund the postage cost I. 3-5 days there response now is just 鈥渞efer to eBay鈥? Yes there prices are good, there freight is sketchy at best, but do not buy from these guys if you in Australia as they will not assist when they get it wrong.

PLEASE READ:I wanted a really rare product and ImportCds, not only had it, but at a logical price. I chose to sort of ignore all the negative reviews about them because 'Paypal' provided me with some security about refunds and because I couldn't find the product anywhere else without paying an irrational price. I placed the order and after a month and 4 days of having no information on its status, I contacted them. They responded within 2-3 days informing me about the current unavailability of the CD and that they would ship it out promptly once it was back in stock. I was so concerned with all the negative experiences I read here that I immediately requested the cancellation of the order and a full refund. They responded within the same number of days, accepting it and returning the full amount. They were easy to reach, polite and cooperative. But I am certain they wouldn't have notified me about the product had I not told them myself and they can't expect me to wait for a product that is marked as available, to be restocked, without giving any further information. Ultimately, I couldn't risk the money, especially at such times.Businesses are having it hard right now but if I compare my experience with other websites, they definitely need improvement. I will probably not try them anytime soon.

They are dishonest trash barons. I got double downed. In the past they had canceled preorders on me but like others have cited their prices are always cheaper. They pretend to be a mom and pop music lover website if you read the bio. Complete lie.

Recently I had a Gamera boxset I preordered in April be canceled just prior to its release a couple of weeks ago. Sat on my money for months. As well I ordered a CD from them on Ebay. They sent me something completely different. When I emailed them they told me they wouldn't refund me until they had received the wrong product back and I would have to reorder the original. They swiftly corrected that when I posted a negative review on Ebay. Whoever owns this site is a dishonest thief – and buyer beware – they are the same entity that owns Deep Discount DVD – another unreliable sham of a company. They have yet to refund me for a boxset I preordered and canceled. Truly I will never shop from them again and I concur that at least the big websites deliver what you order – or make it easier to get a refund/return

I ordered 1 CD and it arrived quite fast despite the Covid-19 situation. The CD is even better than I had expected (the jewel case is inside a cardboard sleeve, it is fabric sealed and has a hype sticker on it).

The reason I gave 4 stars is because their customer service is not the greatest (they replied late to my e-mail and their answer had nothing to do with my question), but I got my answer eventually. Even though this was my first and only order, I recommend buying from them. Just use PayPal to be sure of buyer protection.

I pre-ordered Paul McCartney's Flaming Pie box set their price was the cheapest from all the others. When I received it by USPS the box it was shipped in was falling apart with the packing tape hanging off the box. The box was soft and soggy not the kind of box you would ship such expensive item. Paul McCartney box weighs about 5lbs and it looked like it was tossed and thrown around. The front has 3 deep gashes and scratches across the cover. Website has no phone number and you can only email them. Response time in 3-5 days and when they respond it's very short replies. They asked me to take photos of the damaged item. I had to wait another 3 days for response and offer me %10 discount on $200.00 item I said please send refund and postage paid for return. I never heard from them again, website said they are from 740 Hilltop Drive Itasca, IL 60143. My credit card company said it's a scam website with American address and they are in China or Hong Kong. This scam artists prices were $75.00 cheaper than the other websites. My advice to all the music lovers of CD's and vinyl records, shop with big companies like Amazon and use Paypal if the price is higher it worth not getting crap in the mail and getting upset and stressed out. Stay away from importcds. I placed this order on last week of July and it's going to take then till September so they say for full refund. They lied and said they will send out free return shipping label which they did and did not refund the shipping back to my credit card. The phone number which I had to get from my credit card company is 1.855.258.9650 which is not on their website. There is a Pompano Beach FL address which is not far from me and it's just building with nobody there. The address on their website from Illinois is fake. When you call the number it's call center in Latin American country. Avoid them at all costs.

I bought a dvd last year. It didn't play at all. I returned it for a refund, but got two dvds of another movie and a free vhs tape. Why send two dvds of a different movie that I didn't order…and what am I going to do with a vhs tape?? I didn't play the dvds, so don't know if they play or not…but no refund! I think this whole thing is a scam. The dvds are in a generic cover…and the dvd itself has a handwritten title of the movie on it. All I wanted was a refund of my money. I also noted…the address of this company on the first dvd was in Kentucky, which I used to return the defective dvd. I noticed the return address on the second package I just received was in Ohio. Now..googling this company, the address listed is in Illinois. All different addresses…moving around to avoid trouble? Buyer Beware!…a shady scam operation.

I have ordered from import CD's several times in the last 2 years, a couple new releases and several older albums. While it is true the albums don't ship until the release date hits, they usually do early the following week of it's release. As far as older albums, they ship pretty quickly after the order, 4-5 days after in my experience. Recently, even with Covid19 restrictions in place, I got it a mere 4 days after placing the order! These reviews seem excessively negative. I have never gotten the wrong item, nor have I ever been left waiting for something that never came. Like I said, I only used importcds 5 or 6 times but all transactions have been seemless and handled very professionally. They even include tracking numbers to follow your order all the way to delivery. My one complaint is I do wish they would offer a digital download of the album so, in the case of new releases and such, you could have access to the music ASAP. but in this day and age, with CD's becoming increasingly harder to find, importcds is legit as far as I'm concerned.

I always check prices at Import CDs before paying high prices from Amazon sources. I have often found great deals, especially for British titles.

Item was damaged. Why should I even bother paying for shipping if they can鈥檛 get the product to me in brand new condition?

Poor customer service. Did not honor 25%off coupon. Received damaged item. Did not respond to multiple email until I posted a case with PayPal. Finally, acknowleged me and sent return label. Then never sent replacement until I escalated claim on PayPal.

So, I decided to give these guys a chance. Pre-ordered an item and no communication after 2 weeks of its release date. I tried to contact them through their contact us page since they have no other means of contact and no reply. I had to open a case with PayPal to get a refund and only then was their reply immediate. Turns out my preorder was out of stock and they were never gonna tell me! Don't buy from these guys. There's a good chance you'll regret it.

Please report this guy to the FTC!!!
This guy just ripped me off with two different orders of almost 90 dollars. No working phone number and no response via email besides his email after I made my purchases.
My two orders were presale RTJ4 records that have a release date of September. His email to me was just informing me the the items I requested were no longer in stock and that there is no more information about this item… and that was that.
Please please report this guy to the Federal Trade Commission! I did and we need others who are being ripped off to say something too so this guy is shut down.

My package went missing and for 3 days in a row they have ignored my messages. Yet they are still sending me e-flyers with promotions to buy more stuff from them. DON'T TRUST THEM. They also use UPS which is HORRIBLE. They don't care. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

I did order a Beatles CD"Hey Jude " for a reasonable price – about 16 鈧?, that is about 19$, from the site Rakuten Priceminister. The item was sold by Importcds. The day after, without any explanation, the sell was cancelled. YOU BET…..they realize that other sellers were selling this CD from 74鈧?to 231鈧? So, quick….quick they took it off the market. Who wants to bet that the cd will reappear in a few weeks or months on Importcds at a much higher price. I'm finally happy not to deal with hypocrites .Fair play is a value , even in trading.

The most horrible customer service experience I鈥檝e ever dealt with! Steer way clear of these crooks! They will take your $ and will not return messages while you wait for an item that never shows up.

My first time purchasing from ImportCDs was one or two years ago on eBay, and thankfully there weren't any problems then. But this time around, I ordered from the ImportCDs website itself, and my experience was just OK.

My shipment arrived but was delayed for no reason. Based on the address on the package, I now realize ImportCDs is located in Kentucky (despite the Illinois address shown on the ImportCDs website). But what I don't like is that the item was first sent from Kentucky to Philadelphia, PA, for NO reason. It sat in Philly for TWO whole days before being sent off in my direction. I'm in Texas, so why not send it directly southwest from Kentucky to Texas instead of the OPPOSITE direction?

The second issue is that I was told that all products from ImportCDs are brand new, but the CD I got came in broken shrink-wrap, which makes it unknown whether it's actually new or not.

As others have mentioned, the customer service here is a joke. If you have any other option for buying the merchandise you seek, go with that other option.
