Stole money for fake pet

Website was claiming to have kittens for sale, I inquired about one and got an email that seemed legit. She asked for personal information. She then asked that I zelle her a down payment of $300 to secure the kitten, then the next day asked for the remaining $400 so she could then ship the pet to me. I did as such, and then she told me that the next morning she would give me shipping information. Fast forward to this morning, I get a call from a odd number and a weird email claiming that I need to pay an extra $600 for a heated crate since the kitchen is below a certain age and the weather doesn鈥檛 permit. I called the number in a weird Indian man answered and explained the severity and time sensitivity of the situation saying that if it wasn鈥檛 paid soon she would not make it onto her flight and would be stuck in a carrier for over 24 hours. In a panic I paid via Zell once again this outrageous amount of money only to then get ghosted by this company as well as the breeder. So now I am not only out almost $1300 but I am very sad to not be actually receiving the newest addition to my family and I hope that this does not happen to anybody else because this is horrible and heartbreaking.
