I love IMDB site. However, I don't understand why they don't remove the incorrect "goofs". Many reviewers add what they perceive to be a goof in the show. There are so many incorrect submissions. I really wish they had someone to oversee the site and remove the ridiculous things that are considered goofs. So many don't even know what they are talking about. The last one I read said that police officers are not allowed to be jury members (Mr. Monk gets Jury Duty). At least 35% of the goofs are incorrect. I do enjoy reading the reviews, so many differing opinions. That's what makes the world go round.

They do a very poor job at removing fake reviews. All new movies will have 9/10 scores in the first month after they release because of all the fake reviews but will drop down to 6/10 or 7/10 in the next 6-8 months.

Other than that, the site is easy to use and love their advanced movie search

IMDB is pure trash now. Criticize anything with women or a minority as leads, even if, you're just like, "I don't like this actor"…your review gets deleted. Amazon ruined the site. It's trash now, ruined by the dot-coms forever. You are literally not allowed to dislike anything that falls under the woke umbrella. I enjoyed the site ever since I was in high school, it's sad to see the end of an era. Ever since the SJW whiners complained about bad reviews of Captain Marvel and Black Panther, IMDB got scared of their own shadow and started protecting movies like this so irrationally, you're not even allowed to post a bad review. You could leave the best review ever for movies like "Glory" and "Friday", but if you didn't like "Black Panther", you're not allowed to say why.

Love this site, always go on it to check films out before I watch them, I do miss the message boards though, loved reading the comments and being able to ask questions about tv shows/films.

This is my favorite movie app. I can look up so many things, from movies to shows to actors to even musicians. Great experience with this app. Recommended to all.

You can't criticize anything that's "woke" or your reviews will get removed. That's a total joke. The PC nonsense has gotten out of hand. The backlash to this is growing and people are not afraid to question it anymore. What's worse too is how one-sided it is.

The IMDb is simply an online reference site. Thanks to its, I have been able to eliminate many books in my collection to save space in my apartment. I have written many reviews and have only had a few issues but when I contact them in regards to that, they have dealt with it fairly quickly. I haven't always been crazy about the updates, but in time get used to it. I view it as my TV and movie watching diary, only reading reviews on occasion for more obscure films, and ignoring alleged trolls or bots. My only issue is with their photo acceptance editors who seem to choose photos that they particularly like or shows or movies they are particularly interested in rather than judge them for quality. So I don't bother submitting photos anymore. I don't necessarily miss the comments section anymore or the ability to reach out to other members because I got a lot of trash in my IMD mailbox and got tired of reading the backbiting between people that don't even know each other. That's why I choose to use IMDb as opposed to other social media sites. It is what you make of it, and for me for the most part, it works.

I think it's a pretty good website for movies and shows information, now as for the reviews, ok, i mean you can have your own opinion can't you.

Authoritative website for all things movies and TV. There may be some adult content, think R rated movies.

The reviews on IMBd are stupid, instead of leaving the ratings In the hands of professional critics, they let mainstream people who liked Transfomers get to review films like Citizen Kane. A good 70% of people there have probably never written a proper review in their life, some people just give The Godfather a 1/10 and be like "oH tHe aCtInG iS bAd, sO iS tHe sCrIpt" without any justification or reasoning, and they just mess up the average score. I'm generously giving a 2 star because at least some people on the website appreciate cinema, and don't go and crap on arthouse films like Birdman or Hereditary like mainstream audiences do, just because they probably enjoyed Grown Ups. I honestly don't get why people who don't even enjoy arthouse films would watch them and then leave a bad review because they thought it'd be some Avengers action flick and don't take things like cinematography or acting into account. Please IMBd, let the critics handle this, it's what they do. Films that put in a huge amount of effort in everything get overall scores of under 7s, then fast food movies like Endgame are getting over 8s. It's like McDonald's workers being the judge of a dance competition. It doesn't work out. Thank you for reading.

As an avid film fan, I visit this site regularly to learn about new releases.

For five years now, I have been trying to delete a factually inaccurate title I uploaded to IMDb when I was 14 years old. The customer support is a joke, they do not listen to anything I have to say and constantly defend their illogical "policies". Letterboxd and TMDb are much much better alternatives.
