A rep made a fairly sizeable mistake telling me I was covered for something I clearly wouldn't be, over the phone. Luckily I'm pretty ocd and wanted it in writing, but when bringing this to their attention via email they wouldn't even acknowledge a mistake was made.

Other than that, had a pretty good run. But need to be very careful to get EVERYTHING in writing. Would hate to think what would have happened if I took their word and had to make a claim oneday

Edit: so you found an insurer who will cover drone footage in sub2kg excluded category without Repl/Reoc? Thats not the information I have in our email exchange. And it still doesn't change the fact that on our first call about the matter a rep (mistakenly) said I would be covered for that under my existing policy.

So much cheaper and easier than other insurance company I used suited to my trade as a Boilermaker welder and the friendly staff worked though the right amount of cover for my needs thanks again Imar??
