Have just had nasty experience with them. Rang up yesterday to see if they had a part in. Said yes gave me the price & I paid 拢15 to secure and the rest when picked up. They said come down after 2pm will be off the car. Went down at 3pm bloke on counter says is still taking it off the car. Waited & waited asked few times where is it goes and asks every time nearly done. Finally after over 2 hours & nearly closing time a different bloke who hadn't served me came over said oh sorry mate we cant find it. What a joke. Said you've been lying. I had travelled 25 miles there and 25 miles back and wasted my time. Avoid them like the plague. I would give them 'diabolical' as rating.

Avoid this company at all cost. Rude and ignorant. Lady that runs car auction is disgraceful and has no customer service what so ever. They lie and are very underhand.

I needed an axle for my mitsubishi L 200 and contacted hills having seen their adverts on ebay , a guy called jon rattigan sent me photos of the axles available and being in a fix and unable to find one here in France decided to buy one and organized a transporter to ship it over , when the axle arrived I had an unpleasant surprise !the axle I received was not one of the ones featured in the photos sent to me by hills, the axle I was sent was badly damaged having obviously been rolled over end to end seriously deforming the brake plates it was completely un servicable and upon closer inspection was not even the correct axle for my truck , I have sent hills emails but as of today have had no reply I will not recommend this company to anyone they are unprofessional and possibly dishonest

My car was recovered here following a accident. My personal belongings were still in the car at this point. Hills returned some of the worthless items to me, but anything of any value was not returned. i can only assume anything of any value "accidentally went missing" during the recovery process.

I needed an electric, heated power fold wing mirror for my sons car. I emailed and spoke to Hills to ensure the item I was buying was a perfect working order. I was assured it was so I bought it for 拢124.00.
I took the mirror to my car repair centre. They spent 2 hours trying everything to get it to work and couldn't. The mirror had belonged to a car that had obviously been crashed into the sea as it was full of sand and all the pin terminals were eroded which meant the electrics would not work.
I contacted Hills and they told me that they were not liable for any costs I incurred even though they sold me something that was not in working order having assured me it was. How can they sell me an electric mirror that does not work – USELESS!!!!
My engineer at the garage tried to take the mirror apart in the hope of salvaging it in some way but could not.
I ended up buying a new mirror direct from the car manufacturer.
I did not get a refund as it would have cost me even more money to have the mirror reassembled in order to return it, even though it was useless to any buyer!!!
I found this company to be without any honor. They lied about the viability of the mirror, they assured me it was in full working order before I bought it as this was a question I asked prior to committing to the purchase. Hills lies meant that I ended up paying for three hours of an engineers time as well as the 拢124 for the broken mirror.
I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!
DO NOT USE!!!! DO NOT BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY GUARANTEE THE ITEM IS IN FULL WORKING ORDER!!! I was assured it was tested and working, this was a total lie, it could not have worked as pin terminals were all eroded.

It seems to be a good place to get your parts from, the delivery is usually quick and the delivery person is polite. One tiny gripe, the search engine could be a little more precise, if you ask for a specific part you have to wade through stuff that is not relative to your requirement. Definitely recommend.
