This is an update to my previous review (below). When I wrote my first review, I tried the liner and lashes as soon as they arrived and then removed them and went on about my day. I was happy with the results at the time and thought they would work very well. After that day, I actually used them for a night out to dinner and entertainment. During the middle of dinner, I felt one of the lashes slipping in the inside of one of my eyes and pressed it back down. About an hour later, the entire lash fell off and I excused myself and went to the restroom to try to put it back on. It appeared that the entire eyeliner had peeled off and was stuck to the lash in blotches on the magnets. Of course there was no way of re-affixing it without cleaning my eyelid and the lashes themselves, which I was not prepared to do at that time. I ended up peeling both of them off and putting them in my purse and I haven't used them since. I guess I could try again and make sure my eyelid was absolutely clean but, with natural skin oils, I'm not sure it would stick over any length of time. After all was said and done, I only had them on for about two hours before running into problems and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Now I am using a lash booster and have grown them out a little bit naturally. Then I found a lash primer that works well in thickening the lashes and holding the mascara on. I also do a third layer of fiber mascara to lengthen them. These items seem to work as well as anything else I have tried. I think I'm just going to stick to the old fashioned way from now on.
I tried false eyelashes but was never able to get the hang of putting them on. It was way too frustrating and I gave up almost immediately. Then I went to extensions for about a year. That was too labor intensive. I had to get them filled every two weeks and it got to the point that my eyes were getting irritated from the glue, the lashes looked weird and got wonky as they were growing out, etc. Then I looked online for another option and saw adds for magnetic lashes which sounded interesting, but the reviews were terrible in that it was impossible to get the two lashes placed correctly with your real lashes sandwiched between them. I didn't even try those. Just when I was about to give up and go back to nature, I saw an add for magnetic eyeliner. I looked at the reviews and youtube videos and decided to give it a try. My order arrived today and I immediately put them on. I am not into putting on makeup and am not very good at it, but I couldn't believe how easy this was!!! I was ecstatic! This is something I can actually do. I get the same look as I have with extensions without the hassle. The only thing I would mentions as is also noted in the reviews I read is that you have to have the liner on thick enough for the magnets to have something to stick to. Not a problem for me. This is a great product and I hope to have many happy days ahead using them.
