Guncast

I was looking for an indoor pool maintenance company, and having heard good things about Guncast decided to give them a try despite their pricing being higher than industry average. Booking visits was somewhat challenging as we had to book 3-4 weeks in advance (and had to have 2 exploratory visits before they could do maintenance), but that seems to be in line with most of the companies in the sector.

Their engineers have finally come in to service pool equipment three days ago, and I was pretty astonished to come back home post their visit and find multiple issues:

– Heating system has lost pressure as a result of their work, leaving entire house with no hot water or heating (easily fixable, but something that Guncast engineers should have done themselves before leaving)
– A lot of dirt and sand in the house from their work on pool filtration system (required several hours to clean – again, something that Guncast should have done before leaving the premises)
– Most importantly, heat exchange that was in working order before their visit broke down completely after they did their maintenance, leaving part of the pool with no heating

I have contacted Guncast the same evening about these issues, expecting an apology and an immediate visit from an engineer to rectify the problems. However, it has now been three days, and 'all engineers are busy'; no apology either. Would recommend to avoid this company.
