Worth mentioning Guestus.com, because seems a new site, but I tried it.Last week went to Athens and no surprises. Good price for a 4 star hotel, more exactly Zafolia, centrally located. Don't know how the staff is because all I needed was sent to me via email and didn't need any other info. Oh, more importantly, got me at least, no hidden/credit card /recovery, etc charges.

Used Guestus.com for several times. Seems like they don't have many destinations, but what I was interested in was there: Istanbul (this year) and Santorini + Athens last summer.
The booking process is easy, and the most important thing for me was the good price and no extra added credit card/booking fees like other sites are doing (ie: Expedia, Orbitz).
Another thing, I liked the fact that for a chosen destination the don't have hundrends and hundreds of hotels, which for me seems like they just have well picked hotels, I dunno, just guessing.
Seems like a new kid on the block, but I recommend it.

Good site to have in your bookmarks. Used it first time four months ago for my Santorini vacation, and after that for a 1-day stop over in Timisoara.
The final price shown in the booking was the final one paid at the hotel, I had surprises in the past. The hotel in Santorini was a 5-star, but the price was pretty good and in Timisoara stayed at a 4-star hotel. It doesn't have hundreds of hotels in a city, so I found it easier to choose a hotel to my liking.

I only used guestus.com once for our hotel booking in Athens last September. The hotel was nice and yummy breakfast was served in the restaurant on the top floor. Thanks to the very friendly staff, they waited for us until late in the night when we arrived.

Booked a hotel using Guestus two weeks ago for a 2 days stay in Istanbul. I usually stay in Taksim, but because the price I went for Sultanahmet. The hotel was more than I was expecting, a bit hard to find – that was the only problem. I'll keep using Guestus for my travel needs.

Made bookings this September at Cori Riga in Santorini and one in Athens and everything was fine. Prices found very good, hotels great. No complaints! We'll use it again.

I made a reservation on Guestus for a hotel in Santorini. When I arrived, the hotel had no reservation for me. A total disaster. Never use Guestus.
