I had 22inch Virgin Remy Hair Extensions installed by Amber, an employee of Blush and Co hair extensions on Thursday the 14th of June. I requested hair that had a slight 'kink' to it as my natural hair is very thick and can be wild- so it was of paramount importance that the extensions blend well.
I paid 拢380 for the extensions which I wanted to pay via bank transfer, however, this (for some reason) was not possible…? Very suspicious.

On the day of installation, the extensions looked great! The ends were slightly thin but Amber reassured me that after washing the extensions, they would 'double in size' and become 'wavy'. I was also assured the hair was totally unprocessed.

Immediately after I washed the hair, I saw that each strand of hair attached to a bond would separate from the others, leaving the hair looking unbelievably straggly and unsightly. I continuously brushed the hair trying to make the ends frizz up so they at least resembled hair but this did not work.
I was under the impression that maybe my styling was wrong, so I visited a salon on Sunday for a second wash and a blow-dry (another 拢30 down the drain). Low and behold, the hair extensions separated in the same way and literally could not be styled to look good AT ALL. The hairdresser was horrified when I told her how much I had paid for them and said that she has worn 拢25 clip-ins which look 100x better than my nanorings.

On top of this, the hair smells so disgusting that I've had people around me comment on the smell!! HOW EMBARRASSING IS THAT?! They reek of harsh chemicals.

I contacted Amber immediately and she proceeded to blame everything on me, saying I should have realised this on the day of installation… (major eye roll). How am I to realise how the extensions will look after a wash if I was not allowed to wash them for two days as PER HER OWN INSTRUCTIONS. Since then, she has been dodging all of my calls and if I ever get a response from her, it is to advise me to 'wash and brush the hair' as if I haven't already done that.
Secondly, she advised me to cut off the straggly three inches at the bottom but that means the length of the extensions would match that of my own hair AND will cost me EVEN MORE MONEY for another haircut in a salon!!!!

I did not pay almost 400拢 for MORE VOLUME, I paid that sum for the length of the extra three inches!!! My hair is thick and volumous enough already.

I have tried contacting the company directly and have requested the number of the lady in charge of finances multiple times to no avail. I try calling, texting, emailing, sending photos as proof, I even begged Amber to set up a facetime with the finance lady so that I could show her in real-time but she did not grant me that oppourtunity. I offered to come directly to them so they can examine the hair themselves. Again, I was denied.

I am only a student and have spent months and months saving for these extensions, all of which Amber was aware of.
I began my new internship Monday 18th and have had to braid my hair away out of sheer embarrassment as they just look so bad it makes me look like an unprofessional mess.

PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE TAKING MONEY THEY HAVE NOT EARNED AND DO NOT BELIEVE IN CLIENT SATISFACTION AT ALL!

Amber herself was very bad all in all, she spent 20 seconds styling the extensions (a quick trim at the bottom…lol…)and pretty much ran out of the door at the end, leaving a giant mess behind and hair all over the floor. Must be wary of her, she is very rude, indignant and immoral.

I wish I could include pictures of the hair. I sent them to Amber and even she could not deny that they looked revolting. It was after seeing the pictures that she advised I have a haircut.
