Never had any issues with Hair Stop and Shop. No idea where all the negative review are coming from, but they are great! Prices and shipping are okay. Never had any issues.

I have purchased from this stores total of 7 times, and 5 of those times I was notified that the color wig I ordered was no longer in stock. Only once from those times they had another color available that I was interested in swapping out for. Therefore, my order had to be cancelled four times!!!!
I find this unacceptable! I understand it to happen occasionally, but they apparently either do not have a system that updates regularly to show their customers what colors are currently available, or they are over-selling them similar to how airlines over-book and they always send out the item to everyone else before sending it to me, which by that time it is sold out.

Either way, it is bad business and I will no longer be purchasing from them.

Someone from this company stole $100 out of my hard earned money on October 14 2020 like the hair was beautiful and all but what hair company steals from someone credit card then it was placed into a PayPal account all imma say is this y鈥檃ll better count y鈥檃ll days 馃挴.

If you would like your financial privacy compromised you can count on Hair Stop and Shop.

I placed an order that did not go through due to me being outside the US with my card. I checked my bank balance 1 week later and saw $520US missing. Someone had a lovely time spending my hard earned money on a birthday party, they even ordered Papa John's.

Reported the fraudulent transactions to both my bank and Hair Stop and Shop. A hold was placed on my card and Stop and Shop rep told me there is nothing that can be done. Coincidentally, the first withdrawal was the exact amount as my initial order that did not go through on the website.

Fraudulent Company.

Hi, sooo they reached out. a turns out i gave them the wrong email address which is probably was why there was no communication, also why i couldn鈥檛 see my order.

Sorry for that hair stop and shop. So i purchased on Sept 24 and my order was delivered today Sept 28. Sooo super fast shipping, very affordable, also very nice and professional even though i messed up. Thanks 馃檹

I am blessed that I never was even able to purchase anything as the system sent me into spiral loop. I called and emailed. Someone responded with no support with how to register my email and finish with a checkout. I responded with:
I've repeated this cycle over and over again… over 20 times. I hope that you all resolve these issues. It's very frustrating as a customer and quite honestly establishes a sense of distrust. When I need support, I call the customer service number and no one answers. In fact, it is clearly communicated that no one will answer…[ I have to text]. When I text, no one responds. Disappointed. You all had the best price for the wigs I was set to buy, but I trust this experience was foresight depicting the type of customer service I could look forward to.

I placed and order with this company and have yet to get a email to confirm order. After order was placed I tried to set up my account again. Because it was like it kicked me out. So now I am emailing them again waiting on a response. I ordered these items for a friend which is now going to prolong my wait time. This is ridiculous.

Somehow my credit card was compromised after purchase. I did not know where it was compromised until I read reviews on here and see that other credit cards was compromised. My card is a new card and I have maybe used it 2 or 3x's. Other times in stores and the card remained in my hand. I only came on here to read reviews since I purchased a wig and never received it. Did not know this is what I would find out.

I have had the unfortunate experience of having my card compromised after ordering from your company. I just received the card and had not used anywhere else but on your site. Afterwards, I was reading reviews on this company, and I noticed several complaints of consumers cards being compromised too. The response said, the issue would be looked into, but evidently it has not been resolved and the person responsible is still employed here. I am so ecstatic that my bank caught this! I placed my order on July 10th & received it July 16th, 2020. Please look into this matter!
FYI: My review is based on my card issue only.. Therefore, I am afraid to order from them again; eventhough, I am happy with delivery time (I am in Philly & company in NJ) & like the look of the wigs (I haven't worn it yet.)

I had read the reviews about Hair Stop and Shop and I was scared to order from them, but I had 0 issues. This could be because they are located in New Jersey & I鈥檓 a New Jersey resident. I ordered my hair July 4 and it came today, July 8. Just keep in mind this place is located in NJ, so think about your distance from here before ordering!

I have ordered from this website 3 times twice using my debit card,once using my daughter,each time I have ended up with fraudulent charges on my card,this last time it was 4 facebook charges on my card,at first I didn't think anything of it but once I got my card replaced I ordered again,from this website and there you go 3 doordash purchases,my daughters card almost got fradulet charges but the bank called her and she stated she did not authorize those purchases,so that was a plus,this website has tons of products that you can get from other companies,but the other companies are always sold out,now I see why you can get whatever you want at this website because no one uses it because of this reason,sorry no more for me,I will stick to the companies I can trust likw wigstype and Ebonyonline,I have ordered from them for year and have never had these problems,Hair Stop and Shop never again.

PLEASR DON'T ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I really wish that I would have read the reviews before placing my order. I purched hair June 24th, paid to have my order in three days. It is now the 4th of July and I still don't have my hair. Companies like this are quick to charge you for shipping on items that are NOT in stock. They have completely stop responding.

I ordered some hair on June 1st 2020. Today is the 13th and I still have not gotten my items. I am really upset because they had items on their website listed like they had it. When I checkout only 5 days later told that the item was sold out! Why have hair on your website and you are sold out? So After being contacted and told to change color I did immediately. I was told the order would be shipped out the next day. I had to wait more like a week and a half to get the hair. They are terrible.

The hair and products are great however my cc was compromised shortly after ordering from HSS. It has made me hesitant to order again from them which is disappointing since they carry many hard to find styles of crochet hair.

I placed an order for a wig on Monday May 04 and have not received an order number nor confirmation email yet the money was taken out of my account. I have emailed and only received an auto-reply message stating that I would receive a response in 24 hours. It had been 4 days and I have not had any communication with anyone.

I purchase a wig April 12, 2020, still have not receive it. I have been emailing this company numerous of times about a refund. They stated my order would go out last Thursday or Friday. This business is a scam no one has been answering my emails today. You can't anyone on the phone. They are quick to take your money and not send the product. I've requested for a supervisor please contact me again no response. This business is misleading and taking advantage of people during these times. Very horrible dishonest people. All I want is my refund. Do not deal with these people.

*******************************************I ordered two wigs. One had to go back do to manufacturing defect. I ordered the amount necessary to get free shipping. It was not an easy process from beginning to end. They are slow on responding and updating from once your paid order has been processed and as to when it will ship. Because it had been a week since I ordered and I had not heard anything or received an email; I inquired. I only got a response by email after I received shipping information. I received the wigs. The only one that I cut the lace on ripped down the part when putting on my head. I do not have a large head, but even if I did it should have been sturdy to take putting on. I contacted the company and received an email that I would need to contact the manufacturer to which I did. I was informed that I would need to work with the reseller. HSAS sent me an email that they were told that according to their contract with the manufacturer they needed me to return it for an exchange. I did. However, instead of sending me the wig exchange they refunded my money. I have contacted them today and left a message as well. I told them I understand that we are living in different times with coronavirus restrictions and such. That I would gladly reorder but do not think I should be responsible for the shipping and I purchased per their free shipping guidelines. I am hoping for a positive outcome to this as I am not pleased with my experience and feel I have been put upon as a customer instead of having a simple ordering, paying, receiving goods, and proper follow up to a problem. I simply want them to honor what they said they would in their email and send the replacement or contact me to see if I wanted another one sent.
