I purchased merchandise from gtvista.com on February 24th, totaling $249.96. The website was very elaborate & convincing- having literally hundreds of items "for sale." The checkout process, however, was strange, going through Amazon.com. I should have caught the red flag when they had you share PlayStation digital download codes as the method of payment. They even had a professional looking video with step-by-step instructions. I initially just emailed the order numbers, and quickly got a response email, saying that they needed the voucher code numbers instead. I was still thinking it was legitimate, receiving a confirmation email from [email聽protected]m. However, after sending the codes, I never got another email confirmation of my order being shipped. This made me very nervous- I called the phone number on the website & what picked up was the sound of a fax machine- I knew then that I was screwed! I immediately contacted American Express, who I made my payment through. They told me that they would refund me all of the money, so I was relieved and did not contact amazon.com at that time. The very next day after reporting them, the website was gone & the domain was now open for purchase through godaddy.com. I contacted Go Daddy and asked them if they were the supplier of the domain name for the previous owner, and they said yes but that they could not do anything to prosecute. They forwarded me to a website called IC3, which is a government agency for internet crimes. I submitted a report but never received a response. Unfortunately, a couple weeks later, American Express retracted their dispute refunds. I have spoken to amazon.com about five different times now, at first being told that they don't give refunds for digital downloads, however, when finding out the circumstances, a manager said that she thought they would be able to help me, but that it was just going to take a while to work with the department. She told me she would call me back in half an hour, and I never heard back. Ever since then, everyone at Amazon has told me that there is nothing that they can do to help me. I feel stupid that I fell for the scam, but it was a very convincing website. They had numerous testimonial YouTube videos from people saying that they had great service. It sucks to be out of the money, and it sucks to feel taken advantage of and violated, without any hope of finding the scumbags responsible. If it feels weird, don't fall for it!

I purchased 2 x Mainstays Patterson Heights 4-Peice Folding Patio Conversation Set, Seats 4 (STS45V1) = $99.98 on February 23, 2017. I received a payment confirmation email on February 24, 2017, stating my order would be shipped within 2 business days. This never happened. On March 4, 2017 I sent an email to Jessica Stallings by replying to the payment confirmation email from her, asking when my order would be shipped and to provide tracking info. I never heard anything else from them. I went to the website, it was shut down. No sign of them or my order.

I thought I bought 2 laptops from gtvista.com. payment was made by going to amazon and purchasing digital gift cards for sony PlayStation products. then giving the digital voucher codes from amazon to gtvista.com as payment for laptops. gtvista.com looked very legitimate but the payment process was very weird. i contacted amazon… no help i contacted sony PlayStation and they said they would issue new voucher codes… they did not. this happened on Feb 24th and again on Feb 25th
