Awful customer service. I purchased a pair of expensive sunglasses off Groupon and when I recieved them they were a completely different design. After contacting Groupon they told me that the wrong image and barcode was displayed on their site causing the mistake. I was told that I needed to provide a tracking number when returning the parcel. I was subsequently left out of pocket for this additional cost and Groupon refused to refund me the difference even after acknowledging it was their mistake. Very disappointing experience and I would not use their services in the future.

I came looking for somewhere to write a review about Groupon and was shocked of all the negativity!

I went to Groupon explaining that due to COVID I couldn鈥檛 attend a hotel booking I booked through them and instantly 鈥irubha S鈥?was on the ball and refunded my full 鈧?76 (to be fair in Groupon vouchers)

This was perfect for me as I have had multiple happy purchases through Groupon and did not see it ending any time soon! 5 minutes and a full refund and wished a lovely day.

I will be happily buying from here again! Thank you Groupon!

on the 28th August i contacted the groupon chat facility as i was looking for a refund as i had bought two vouchers from yourselves for afternoon tea at Mercure Cardiff, i had used your online facility to prebook this for the 5th September for my mothers birthday. I contacted Mercure on the 27th August to confirm the booking and to explain one member of the party was gluten free, i was then told on the phone that the restaurant was not yet open and wouldnt be open until the end of september and that groupon were fully aware of this and you had amended your booking system to show such aletations. Would i not have rang i would not have known as groupon and mercure at no time have been in touch to cancel the reservation.
on the chat facility i asked for a full refund as i would have to take my mum somewhere else and i had fraudlently been led to buy something which was not available therefore you had breached your contract law. i was told by your chat person that this would be escalated and to wait 7 days.

i have waited the 7 days and again no reply from groupon. i have spoken to your chat facility again today and now they want proof that i didnt go? how exactly would you expect me to get this? if you do want further proof i bought a different voucher from yourselves for bistrot pierre and went on the same day so i could hardly be going for afternoon tea twice in one day and in two different parts of the town.

I purchased a Voucher for a laser hair treatment at Heaven Rathmines before all the Covid situation, and didn't have the opportunity to start the treatment. All business closed in March, and they only reopened in July, when I booked to start with the first session. The establishment has no preparation at all to deal with the health measures being taken, I was taken to a 2×2 m2 little room, when the woman removed her mask before starting the treatment (which didn't happen for other reasons). Not happy with all the situation, and not having received any treatment at all so far, I asked a refund to Groupon. They informed me I needed a confirmation from the merchant. I got in touch with the merchant and asked for confirmation. She replied to me offering an extra session, and when i said i was not comfortable and would prefer the refund she stopped replying me. I am asthmatic and wouldn't put my health at risk for the esthetic treatment, and I'm having no success whatsoever pointing this out to Groupon. The company after selling you the Voucher has no interest in the kind of merchant they are hosting in their website, and what happens after it's up to you. Don't trust this company, as if you have any problems they will not care about solving it for you, and it will be a waste of money. Very disappointed.

Groupon is running an ad for Your Smiles Direct who have gone into receivership and changed their trading name. I notified Groupon of this two weeks ago through web chat with their agent and they are still selling it on their site today. Shameful.

Bought a Groupon for a restaurant.

But the restaurant is not doing business with Groupon!

Asked Groupon for my money back, they said read their policies, they don't return money, only give credit in my account!! 🙁

(Same scam as some airlines on their cancelled flights.)

Looked at Groupon today, they are STILL SELLING Groupons for the same restaurant.

Nice way of getting in a bit of extra cash I suppose.

Also they say the Groupon is worth 鈧?7.40 – but I can only buy food& drink for 鈧?5.50.

Is there no way of giving ZERO STARS??

I ordered some small stuff from there. It all depends on who actually sends you goods if you going to get your stuff or if you get correct stuff or matching the description. This is why I tend to stick to ebay or aliexpress as they have better protection policies. Groupon does not protect you at all.
Last time I ordered a face mask with 10 filters and it came not even looking like in pictures and without breather valve.

Unfortunately my face masks did not arrive after 5 weeks they resent and they still didn鈥檛 show up after an additional couple of weeks. Nancy and Priya sorted the situation well.

I ordered grey bar stools from groupon which arrived promptly but within one week had broken and were actually a danger as kept toppling over and very heavy if they had fallen on a child. I spent 4 months emailing groupon back and forth to try and organise for them to be collected so I could be refunded my money. They kept saying they could not do this because of covid 19 restrictions but as far as I could see they were st铆ll selling items so assume they were delivering also!! Last week DHL contacted me to say they would be collecting the items which I was delighted to hear as I have had 2 broken stools in my kitchen for the last 4 months. Groupon emailed me to say they hadn't organised DHL to collect the items therefore they would not be refunding my money!!! Complete scam artists and obviously giving consumer information to 3rd parties ie DHL and then denying do so!! Breech of gdpr as well as everything Else. They need to be closed down. I will be taking this further.

I received wrong item,and sent it back same day.In 2 days will be a month that i sent the item back. I email them SEVERAL TIMES with a proof of post receipt and return lable by asking to have a refund,they saying again and again ONLY Groupon credit. Its my second time problem in a row with a Groupon. I will never ever going to deal with Groupon. STAY AWAY FROM THE GROUPON !

Groupon have the worst customer service I ever dealt with. Ordered goods and after receiving e-mail about my order being despatched, for more than a week the tracking was showing in Transit. Then I receive an e-mail from I assume to be the supplier (not identifyin themselves just attaching picture of goods I ordered) saying my preferred colour was not in stock. Contacted Groupon and for several e-mail exchanges they kept lying that the order is in transit. On third request of genuine tracking transcript they suddenly changed the tune and admitted my product is not in stock and offered refund in Groupon credit. Four days and dozens of e-mails later they still refuse to refund my money to original payment method! Impossible to speak to someone sensibly as every reply from them ignores any requests / questions I have and comes back with a cheery 'we are pleased to inform you we'll issue Groupon credit'. It's like talking to 5year old children who can barely read. Four requests for a phone number have been ignored.

I have previously purchased vouchers from groupon so I thought why not purchase my little sisters present for her birthday they should be reliable. I know there are slight delays with the current pandemic but I was not prepared to be extremely panicked a day before her birthday due to waiting 13 business days for this package to arrive. I reached out worried and was told to hurry up with my responses because I didn鈥檛 respond within 30 seconds of getting one response. All was good I was annoyed their customer service was horrible but I eventually received the package. My sister was delighted – then , 1 single week later the product broke which again upset me as I had spent a good bit of money on this , reached out again to be told they cannot replace or exchange the item but I did have 2 options. Option 1. As a gesture 鈧?.00 credit to my groupon account (hilarious as due to their customer service I will no longer be using them) or option 2. Return the damaged product for a refund which I am more than happy to do.

Absolutely shocked by their customer services handling so far and how they react to damage goods.

I am really upset by the deplorable treatment of groupon. They completely messed up my order which I ordered for my baby granddaughter birthday and lost my money and only using excuse it not their fault blaming on some so called third party even though I only dealt with groupon. I am so upset as I have not seen my granddaughter in near two months and now won't even have a birthday present for her first birthday . I can't see her and don't know for how long more due the the corna virus. I am really upset .

Groupon Ireland.. A Complete Shamble of Company.
Truly scammers at the highest degree. Bought an item that came completely broke to bits and unusable.
Got offered 1/5 of the value as a gesture of good nature 🙂 Gotta make you laugh tho… Can't use the bloody thing and they called it a gesture of good nature. Told them where to put it and then offered a return and a credit into my Groupon account. I should be refunded to my payment method but after many emails they just not doing that. And that's because they are scumbags and know they supply crap and keep on fooling people. Credit note will mean I will have to sped it again with Groupon. Thankfully I have paid with credit card and will let my Card insurance deal with it and get my money back that way.
Stay well away from this scammers. Beware they make their own laws. Don't believe the crap they tell you.
Unfortunately cannot leave 0 stars so here's one for the bag.
Roll the bag and stick it.

Do not give Groupon your money. They won't fulfill your order, and will refuse to refund you. When they bother to respond to queries at all they'll offer Groupon points (credit with them) instead of the refund they legally have to offer. They're well aware they can't legally do this but they will try anyway. If you buy from them you'll lose your money. Avoid.

Ordered a desk for 鈧?00. The boards were in a sorry state, chipped on the edges and with the strips coming off, guess it was just some cheap glue holding them together. It was also missing the instructions, handles, screws, everything you need to actually put it together. Contacted Groupon support through live chat and after ignoring my request for a phone number I could call, after I provided requested photos of what I received, I was told it'll take a minimum of three days to even get a response. I only ordered from them cause I needed a new desk ASAP for working from home.
Later on I also found out that this desk is a pure knockoff. 鈧?00 for a cheap knockoff and no way to assemble it!

I ordered poly tunnel yesterday,, and they charged me twice for it,, they will only give me credit,, it was a fault on there side not mine, I got on to them straight away as soon as I was charged,, is this not stealing,, I will never order from them again,, and why are they advertising when u won鈥檛 even get your stuff coz everywhere is closed covid 19,, they only tell u that when u have ordered,, I am going to take this alot further

I will be contacting the Police and making an Internet Crime Report.
I paid for two sets of Rosen garden furniture, order number: 33127411, on behalf of my business. I received 12 chair arms and no seats or backs! The boxes had been purposly doctored to indicate that they were a set, when they were not. I am devastated- I paid over 鈧?50. Euro for chair arms. When I contacted living social I received automated replies. Please beware. please beware of this company. Reading the other complaints, I wish I had checked Trustpilot before ordering,

Stay away from this scam!!! Recently bought car oil change, job was only partially done (if done at all, can't trust), arrogant, disrespectful staff. Groupon customer service ignored my complain and as it appears they didn't even took time to read it, coming from their completely irrelevant copy/paste response. Money wasted, no help received. P.S. I've already contacted you as may see it from this review.

Useless….. I never thought to check Trustpilot for Groupon having used them in the past without any issue but it's been a while. Obviously I should have based on all the other reviews. I ordered 4 items which formed a collection. Ordered over the Christmas so wasn't too pushed about delivery times but when half the order turned up I found it strange. Eventually got on to the
"Customer Service" team via webchat who advised it had to be done by email and proceeded to end the chat.

They then came back to advise that 2 of the items (which I have invoices and dispatch notices for) had gone missing and after much back and forth have now advised that the items are no longer available. They have also issued refund in Groupon Credits which I have absolutely no interest in. It'll be interesting to see if they issue a refund to my card. I think I'll just stick with buying from actual and reputable retailers going forward.

worst worst experience ever!! when i purchased the item, delivery time was 2 days and after ordering it become 7 days and when this didn't arrive even after 7 days i contacted the customer service and who said it will take 15 days. after 15 days still no sign of item nor customer service has a clue where my product is.
asked for refund which took another 12 days and still not processed,.

i would even rate this service in minus if i only could.
