bought a coupon for our dad 60Th birthday. To go and eat in a restaurant with 1 star. When COVID-19 came trough, we couldn't use the coupon and asked for a solution.
We wanted our money back, so we could buy an other gift for that money.
After 2-3-4 conversations with the customerservice – we needed to wait 2-3 months. So i took contact with them again and in 5 minutes they gave us Credits to buy something new on their website.
Thats NOT what we wanted – we wanted the money back for another gift. And not one thing from the groupon.be website. They said : "We couldn't do anything else " & customer service left in 1 minute after that message from the chat."
Instead of contacting of saying something to us… What a bad customerservice! My God!
Would never buy again something here & go to iBOOD or socialdeal.

I called Groupon to ask for a credit in order to buy again the same deals and all they offered was 5 EUR as commercial gesture.
Frankly I'm really dissapointed that this is how Groupon treats it's loyal customers and will stop purchasing from them.

Of those 55, only 1 was disappointing: a restaurant that didn't offer the expected quality (Le Pou Qui Tousse in Brussels).
Apart from that: nothing but good.
We are also happy about the reminder that a voucher is about to expire.
It hurts to see that the reviews are mainly done by frustrated customers.
