I made a simple request. Don't cut the curly hair in the front. But they did and now I look like a freaking pedophile! I look like an Ex-con. And the thing about me is that my curly hair gave me the most amount of self confidence in myself because I got lots of compliments from my friends about it. And now I feel like absolute $#*!. I look so damn awful and look ugly

Like most people who go to Great Clips, I have been going because of my schedule, I like to get my hair cut at my convenience. I have short, easy to manage hair. I like to keep it at a certain length, so when I go in, I usually try to emphasize that I am there for a TRIM not a crew cut. Most stylists understand this, but a few seem to think, "I'll just give this old lady her money's worth!" And they proceed to cut four inches off when you asked for a slight trim. There isn't a whole lot you can do once you see a four-inch lock tumble down! The last haircut I got at Great Clips took the cake. The woman had cut my hair the previous time and did a great job. I was happy to see her when I walked in. She took the scissors in her hand and seemed to viciously attack my hair! I saw the long hairs falling and felt like crying. Then she, all by herself, decided to "texturize" my hair, something I know shouldn't be done to curly hair. My "trim" left me with about one inch of hair, chopped like nothing I've seen before. That was on January 4th, and it has just now, February 17, gotten a little length, but is still choppy. I have always been proud of my hair, it's been easy to maintain with little maintenance. I'm sure this time, people have wondered what branch of the military I served in! Please train your people not to do this! It's humiliating! This stylist also asked me, quite rudely, "Do you color your own hair?"

When I was there for a haircut about three words were spoken. They were very rude. Poor job of cutting also. Wouldn't even brush off the cut hair. I sensed racism also since the girl was black. Never going back

It was the worst place i have been to. It was my first time going there and i will not go back. Terrible customer service and kept leaving to go to the first desk. I signed in at the same time as my boyfriend and four people went ahead of me

Can no one at the Lookout Valley TN location give a SIMPLE men's trim? How did these stylist pass their courses?! My son's hair is always crooked or has a gap. I'm sick of this place. But there isn't anywhere else close by. The location is clean and has convenient hours.

This is the place for you if you want to go in for a trim and then come out with 12 inches off your hair. My first visit was very pleasant with my hairdresser, but after my disastrous haircut… I won't be returning any time soon. There was also a lingering smell of cigarette smoke as I got my haircut.

Today was a very upsetting experience. I felt as though my hairdresser (Ashlee) did not respect my request to get a trim… instead, she chopped off my hair. In the future, I hope she chooses to cut long hair gradually, to avoid taking off too much length. Also, the smell of cigarette smoke was perceived as very unprofessional.

As a closing thought, I wanted to add that Great Clips reached out to me on Google Reviews, but when I followed up there was little to no communication. Makes me believe that they were just trying to respond to "save face." If your business prides itself on the "Great Clips Commitment" of "Your complete satisfaction on all services and products is fully guaranteed!", then show it…

I was at the Nichols Hills Great Clips this a.m. 11-30-2020, got a great haircut from Bridget, give her a 5 star… looked liked a shaggy dog when I walked in, looked liked a human afterwards… thanks Bridget… linda ross

I walked into my local Great Clips (Gladwin Center) location in Abbotsford, B. C. They are committed to following the protocal for covid-19, sanitizing, wearing masks, etc. I received a special surprise. They gave me a clip for kindness today. Not sure why. I really appreciated the service. Special thanks to Pawan, who I believe was the very nice young lady who cut my hair. I am a senior, and a Vet.

Horrible. Absolutely Horrible. I got some soviet Russian lady who could barely speak english I said 1/2 inch off the top, she did like 2.5. Wouldn't recommend going here, because you might get a john cena haircut

My son got a haircut and after getting a terrible haircut in which they took half of his hairline off with clippers(side to middle of forehead) they told me sorry and that did i want a free haircut… are you kidding me, alteast refund him his money so he can pay to get it fixed(maybe)… They did not! Terrible company policy and terrible hairstylist… if you would even call them that… bottom of the barrel!

Just came from the Willowick Ohio Shoregate Great clips and my hair is literally CHOPPED into pieces, no blending, one side is close to my scalp, the other side is longer, the back neckline is crooked. This is horrific. She kept trying to correct her mistakes making it so short, there was nothing left to correct. NEVER, EVER, WILL I GO THERE AGAIN. WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD.

The few times I went there they gave me a haircut I didn't ask for. I recently asked for a Mohawk and they cut half of my hair off which I didn't ask for. I would not go here at all, the workers should get more experience with hair cutting because they do terrible jobs.

I went to great clips recently and wanted to try something new so i have it a shot and got a haircut. I show this woman a picture of what i wanted and she did nothing i asked for. She $#*!ed up my hair very bad and i hate it. Worst place, never going there again. If it had a 0, i would rate it a 0 but they don't have that. Don't go there, they will mess up your hair.

I had the pleasure of Tiffani cutting my hair this morning. She was Awesome! I showed her the pic and she did EXACTLY What I Ask!
I was actually in not the greatest of moods and she did everything to cheer me up! Plus a Great Haircut! Many Blessings to Her! The World needs more Sweet/Competent people in it like Tiffani!

Of course I used the on line checkin because well that's the only way to check in. I said well I need a haircut, let me go on line and try Great Clips they just opened up. Estimated wait time 45 minutes, ok, I guess I will check in and then find something to do. I see do you want a text message heads up as to when we will be ready for you? Sure. We will send a text message to you so you have 15 minutes notices prior to your appointment. Awesome, saves everyones time. Text arrives at 12:40, I arrive at 12:55… I'm sure you are no longer in our system and there are now 2 people ahead of you, please wait another 45 minutes. Are you kidding me? Not a chance. Went on line book Great Clips Wallingford, walked in got hair cut and moved on with the rest of my day.

My hair looks choppy and I asked to leave some length and that wasn't done. I will never let Janie do my hair again.

I always wait on Cindy Mota at Hanover Center Great Clips in Wilmington NC to cut my hair. She takes pride in her work and makes sure you are satisfied with your haircut before leaving the salon.

This older lady with an accent did her version of a faux hawk. She did no blend at all. Just a half on the sides. Looks like a chia pet head. Plus the very front was cut half the amount shorter than the top. Just no common sense. Be extra specific if you choose to save money and take a risk on this place on 238th in Maple Ridge

The hair cut which I got was not up to the mark. I asked for trimming my hair and getting layers. She just trimmed my hair. The person who trimmed my hair was not very knowledgeable.

It is very obvious that the "people" NOT STYLISTS NOT BARBERS are rejects or failures for the local cosmology or barber schools. My DOG can operate clippers better than the flunks attempting to cut hair here. Then… they have the NERVE TO CHARGE YOU… SMMFH?.

They lost my family as customers. They are requiring people to wear mask even if they fall into a ctegory not required to wear a mask. They kill commerce and there company will suffer.

My sister went in for a haircut for senior pictures yesterday. They made tons of comments about her hair being unprofessionally done and other nasty comments. It's no wonder they're rated so low.
