Mark was very friendly and easy to talk to. As this was my first cold read, I was a little nervous. He shared his own experience and was open to answering any questions I had.

Mark let me warm up and offered constructive feedback on my various reads. He gave me precise notes that let me know where I needed to redo something for a better sound. He also offered useful information on what I needed for my next steps. He followed up with an email filled with links to various resources.

This encounter left me excited to explore a possible future in voice work.

I have been thinking about voice overs for a long time now, but kept being interrupted by "other voices" talking to me. My experience talking to Mark yesterday was very satisfying and warm. I found The Great Voice Company some years back, but just saw the TrustPilot logo on the site. I investigated a number of different online VO training and coaching sites and for me, this one seemed to be the best. Years of association with them since then have only strengthened my opinion of them. Susan and her assistant Mark have always been helpful and friendly professionals who have worked with me and the challenges my situation requires. The information, training, coaching, skill sets, and technical advice is presented in an easy to understand manner. You can tailor your training to the niche you are working to enter. Through it all, I have never felt pressured to buy the next "THIS course is what you REALLY NEED NOW" like some other sites seem to do. There is additional training you can choose but always on your schedule on your terms and only what you need to have.

Whether just trying to decide if VO is for you, or learning about aspects of it you would like to try that is different from what you are already doing, or improving on whatever level of success you are having in VO, I think this is the right place to look.

The company offers a solid way to get into the voice over field with a dual focus on effective marketing and honing performance skills. My hour on the phone with a staffer talking about the biz and reading scripts for feedback gave me a much better idea of how to approach voice over as both a passion and a business. If you want to create a solid foundation for success I think this is the way to go.

The voice evaluation conducted by Mark was informative, professional and instructive. He put me at ease and made the process a very enjoyable experience.

While I was nervous that my voice wouldn't come across over the phone as people say it does, Mark's feedback told me his professional ear was able to compensate for my phone. After introductions and my background, we got right to voicing the example scripts. With each script, Mark gave me great direction and I could hear the difference as I revoiced the script. After, Mark gave me several great points to work on with my voice, pacing, inflection and visualizing the story. He also gave me guidance on my next steps without the "sell" of Great Voice products.

So far so great, where everything was straightforward in booking the consultation (with Mark), and then any tension I might鈥檝e had going in took almost no time to pass, with the conversational and altogether easy-going back-and-forth of the call. It is my pleasure to be able to comment here on my recent one hour initial evaluation session with Mark Graskemper with the GREAT VOICE COMPANY. As i am brand new to the voice over world, i honestly did not know exactly what to expect during our allotted time together, but i found Mark to be the consummate professional. He was a great help to me in regard to helping me to figure out "where i am" as a beginner, and i am thrilled to have his reinforcement and encouragement. He helped me to work through 3 different short scripts, and in doing so he taught me what was expected from a voice artist in each one of the three. I would read and he would critique until i "got it right". and what a thrill it was for me to discover that i CAN "get it right"!! How can you beat THAT for client service? We learned together that i am able to respond well to "in the moment" coaching and direction, that i am able already to get a pretty good "feel" for how a script reading has gone for me. He taught me what it means to "own" the script,which helps tremendously. In short, i really learned and gained a lot just from my brief time spent with him. Susan Berkley and GREAT VOICE for sure have it figured out in regard to helping a voice artist realize their dreams. i am signed up for the boot camp in March, and i can't wait to enjoy and to glean from everything that this training is designed to be.
