I tried several times to up my bid amount because I wouldn't be able to make the end of the bid. 6 times I tried and every time it said "Why increase your bid? you're already winning" and wouldn't let me place a higher bid.
I lost the item that I wanted that is not common and usually double the price.
Thanks. Fix your service.

I bought a BMW (not cheap) and it came with 2 keys, as advertised. Problem was, one was for another car so I had to buy another and have it cut & programmed. Grays basically told me to "go fly a kite" when I let them know, and that they owed me for the second key. A breach of NSW consumer law, but Grays don't give a stuff.

The staff were rude, misinformed and decided to decetptively take $3,000 and a vehicle from me. The invoice was paid in full, staff said there was no manager available to speak too. We drove 9 hours, took off work and stayed in a hotel overnight. Staff were dismissive. I have attended the police station and will file a civil claim.

At last nights vehicle auction in Pinkenba, 24/1/2021 , grays had a 1995 Subaru liberty which was advertised as a 2004 model .
It wasn't until I looked at the log book history that I notice it was first service in 1995 .
So make sure you really look into what you're bidding on.

I put a bid in on a Rover Endeavour Self Propelled Mower.
Turned out, the "Self Propelled" didn't work.
Why advertise it as Self Propelled, unless you were being deceptive? Most reasonable and honest people wouldn't.
Rose, from their Customer Service, sent an email response, "Hi Richard,

Thank you for your patience while I look into your enquiry.
I have looked into this, and I can confirm that the mower will work the same, you just have to push like normal.
My apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused you".
Great response when you advertise Self Propelled!

False and misleading information, second hand items described as new arrived with holes in them, selling items that don't exist, the worst customer service imaginable, took 6 weeks to refund me for incorrect items delivered and I had to take to post office to send back, they try to blame vendor all the time, but they post the listing ? naturally I've stopped using them, do not buy a car from them, you'll be left out of pocket big time, but we all have to remember when buying at auction like this, its a lottery, so its good to advise others of our experiences by using this review website, so they can avoid the dramas of using graysonline.
my advice is if you are going to use graysonline to buy stuff only spend about $50 so when you get ripped off its not the end of the world, but if you spend 20 grand on a car it can rip the crutch from your undies if you've been ripped off.
based on my own experiences and other reviews there's a high chance of that.
in saying all this criticism some of the items purchased from graysonline actually arrived in good condition and as described
but they are not to be trusted and this is really unfortunate

I waited 3 months to be told that two bottles of wine that were sent to me by mistake in lieu of the bottles that I had ordered were of a similar value and that the partial refund I had requested would not be happening. My information told me that the wine I received was valued in the region of $50-60 compared to the $95 that I had paid for the non-arrivals.
Another happy customer.Not!

They are Cheaters .never buy anything from Grays online. We have lost a lot of money on a faulty machine bought from GraysOnline. They just make money by selling the faulty machines and cars to innocent people, who can鈥檛 fight back with them.

While the auction and bidding process is as expected, the pick up process is a Disgrace. FOUR HOURS waiting for the paperwork and arrangement of the vehicle to be organized is a JOKE. I needed to send a tilt-tray to pick up the vehicle I purchased and due to the unbelievable wait, I had to pay the driver for his time. If Grays don't have enough staff or staff that are not able to process the documents in a speedy time frame, maybe they need to look a this issue. They readily charge fees and charges as part of the bidding process but WHY should I be penalized AGAIN because they are So Slow to hand over items????

Purchased a car which was supposed to have Rego for another 9 months (according to their auction website description). It also said the current rego will only be transferred over if the driver had an NSW license which I did. Drove the car around for 5 weeks and took it for a service as it started showing transmission issues only to be told that the car was not registered and ran out of rego 3 months ago. Contacted Graysonline as I was out of pocket more than $1200 in getting the car re-registered + new plates etc. I asked for them to pay a pro-rata of the rego cost for 9months as per their advertisement. I was dealing with Natalie Welzel & Dianne from the NSW Auto team based in Moorepark – They basically asked me to **** off. Contacted fair trading and they said they don't get involved in transactions that were an auction. Graysonline clearly is aware of this hence don't care about what experience a customer has. Btw the car is a piece of sh** with transmission issues, every car you buy from Grays – you can expect transmission problems which is why they don't let you drive it before buying.

I have bought 3 cars from grays online.
First 2 cars were fair and as per description.
The 3rd vehicle was a disaster.
The biggest oil leak I have ever seen with worker foot prints walking away back to the main office back rooms.
I didn't even get to sit in the vehicle or turn it on.
It has been 3 weeks since my full refund request.
I have been calling every 3 days and I get the same response "no update, please give us 2-3 days".
I am without a car and without my money during this pandemic and I am now struggling.
Worst customer service experience I have ever had.
I feel like I am purposely being ignored and brushed off.
I am still waiting for my refund.

I purchased a refurbished laptop with 1 year warranty from graysonline.
After 3 months of normal use 1 hinge fall a part. I contacted Grays online and asked them to hix the laptop.
Waited 3- 4 weeks for response and was told that because it was a physical damage they won't honor the warranty becouse it was my fault that the hinge got damaged, and that the laptop manufacturer won't accept responsibility for physical damages.
I was very disappointed in Grays decision and that they left me with laptop I couldn't close or open.
So I decided to contact the laptop manufacturer (MSI) directly.
With in 3 days my laptop was fixed for free.
So if you decide to buy anything from Grays online be prepare that they won't honor any of the warranty they promised.

ABSOLUTE RIP OFF MERCHANTS. DO NOT TRUST THIER ADDS.
Purchased a Mazda 3 through auction, pics and description looked good. NONE OF THE FOLLOWING WERE LISTED IN THE ADD which blind Freddy could have seen.
Remote keys were so dead we had to use the key to open the car. Car was covered in bird s*it which had eaten into paint, engine light on, AT light on (transmission), windows didn鈥檛 go up or down from drivers control panel, large chunks of paint missing and to top it off was very low on fuel with no service station near by.
Contacted Grays and lodged a complaint to which they said we are not mechanics….. Um f#$k I鈥檓 not either but I can tell there鈥檚 an issue when the engine and AT lights are on as soon as I turn the car on. They kindly offered to resell the car but could not promise I would get what I paid and they would charge me a sellers fee. GREAT SCAM. Stay far, far away from this place it鈥檚 a joke!
