Gray Line Washington D.C.

I鈥檝e always used Grayline for our out of town tours because of the narration I鈥檝e come to know, but the driver on this particular tour who was narrating had no energy, could not be understood at all and did not make the travel to and from Mt Vernon interesting at all. All of us on the bus just tuned him out and everyone on the bus had the same opinion. However Beverly who set up the tour provided exceptional customer service. She receives at 10!

The tour was not great… The driver was very knowledgeable, however, you could barely hear him. The stops at the areas were short. It also missed some great monuments like FDR or MLK. They also only gave 15 minutes at Lincoln. 15 minutes is definitely not enough time to be spent at Lincoln. at the Lincoln Memorial, we decided to stay behind and spend as much time as we needed to truly admire its beauty.

I booked 2 day tour weeks ago. No one notified me tour cancelled. Ruined my vacation. It cost us thousands of dollars to get to DC and booked with what we thought was a reliable tour company. Don't be fooled, do not book with this company. Not only did they ruin out vacation, but it is a scam as well. They refused to give me refund or re-schedule us on another tour. Then their customer service rep told me it wasn't her problem and then proceeded to cuss me out.

Did not like: Should have let us know that there wee no trams for the Arlington Cemetery site. We had to walk the grounds and that is NOT a place you want to have to walk.

Like: The bus guide was very nice and very knowledgeable.

It was a fine booking experience. I wish you worked with PayPal or other 3 party payment centers.

We enjoyed the tour and the various tour sites. It was very organized.

There was a accident on the freeway we missed the tour by 5 min. Called them and they would not hold the tour. Picked up another company鈥檚 tour and they held there tour for others that were in the same situation. Gray line would not refund the money due to being within 24 hours. Never again

Our tour was easy to book online and provided a great day at Mt. Vernon and the Arlington National Cemetery. We learned much more than we would have on our own because our driver provided so many interesting facts about Alexandria, Mt. Vernon and Arlington.

Terrible! Led to believe we would ride on a double decker bus for the night tour. Instead we were picked up in a minivan! Most of my fellow passengers were also disappointed and upset. I will never again give money to this company. What a waste!

Great driver, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. The monuments were beautiful except the FDR memorial. That should be disclosed if the site is closed.

The driver provided an in depth and intelligent examination of the many sites he took us to. The driver also had a wonderful sense of humor.
