I first tried the free Grammarly, which was mostly dealing with punctuation. SO, I paid for the Premium Grammarly thinking I would get a lot of good help It was a waste of my money and my time. There was some help with punctuation and some suggestions were incorrect. As well, they suggest changing words which should not be change….for instance, when I was writing about a grill on a car, Grammarly wanted me to change grill to Restaurant. That was just one of many ridiculous suggestions I got over a plus 300 page document. I wish Grammarly could have been worth the money, but based on my experience, it is not. Maybe if you are just writing a short report, you will not see the problems that I experienced. It just goes to show you that computer generated help is not the same as a live person.
