The single worst company I have ever dealt with, avoid them at all costs. Not reliable, not truthful and they don't even answer their phone! Like many other parents I am stuck in battle for a refund and GradCity is an absolute nightmare to deal with.

My daughters senior trip was cancelled due to Covid & NOONE from here grade, including us, has received a refund from them yet! Not even an email/call/text that they鈥檙e working on it or any updates whatsoever. Im starting to believe these reviews that this company is a fraud. If we don鈥檛 get our money back soon I鈥檓 calling my attorney.

I would never use grad city again. There customer service is beyond horrible and the afety of your children is of no concern to them. Avoid at all costs

Worst company ever. Don鈥檛 trust your child is safe. The chaperones are no where to be found. The kids damage the hotels, stumble drunk around the halls, get high and have sex in the halls, pee in the elevators and stairs. Saw one boy stumbling so bad he almost fell over the balcony on the 10th floor.
Unless you want a call that your child is dead, in jail or raped I鈥檇 suggest you not send them anywhere with this company.

Shady company who operate under several different names, changing it each time people start posting truths and negative reviews about them.
My daughter was supposed to go to The Bahamas for Spring Break on 4/10/20. They provided no flight info up until 10 days before the departure date, when they finally postponed the trip due to the Covid-19 crisis. (We had asked to cancel due to the Corona virus situation but customer service said "pandemics were not covered – no refunds.")
Instead they changed the travel dates to late June and told customers to pay a $479 cancelation fee if they couldn't make it. Many other customers have had similar experiences. Just google Grad City. Check the Better Business Bureau website. We are taking our grievances to the local media here in NY/NYC as well as legal options and an online awareness campaign. Please do your homework before booking any trip with Grad City or their other names – Student City, SpringBreakDiscounts.com and Spring Break Travel.

Horrible service. They refuse to honor a doctors note. Then they refuse to return money because they canceled trip due to Covid. Company is a complete fraud. DO NOT use them. Try other services. Bad people. Horrible customer service

My husband and I have spent a week at a resort which hosts Gradcity students. I was absolutely mortified with the lack of supervision! As a parent, you want to be able to trust that your child (no matter what age) is safe and taken care of. This is not what we witnessed with these Gradcity students. The students were completely left to their own devices. The supervisors were either huddled in a group socializing amongst themselves, completely absent, or passively sitting by. The students would blare their music and yell at all hours of the night, cut in front of you at the buffet and bar, have sex in the hallways and leave their condoms lying around, leave their drinks everywhere (we even found several when snorkeling at the beach), drink themselves into unconsciousness, and interrupt the hotel shows. I expect teenagers to make questionable decisions, but I also expect their supervisors to watch out for them.

We just returned from a trip to Punta Cana with Grad City. Everything went well. Stacy and Virginia took care of everything and was available at all times for anything we needed. Occidental Caribe was a beautiful resort for the cost.

We booked with a recent trip to the Bahamas. We paid our trip in full and one month before the trip we were notified that we owed $230. When I called I got a very rude representative who told me it was because we only had 3 boys in the room. This was not our choice, the boys were all friends so we decided not to select roommates they were assigned rooms by Gradcity. Everyone else got 4 person rooms at no extra charge. The kicker is that when the boys arrived the "three person" room was a queen bed and a cheap cot! They paid collectively $690 extra for a cot to sleep on for 5 days. And by the way, the assurance we got at the initial meeting that Gradcity would be there if we had any problems was a joke as well. it took me 2 days to contact a Gradcity rep. (no one EVER even picked up the phone). When I finally contacted someone he told me he had no control over what the hotel did but would look into it. He NEVER called me back. I called several times afterwards and never could get in touch with anyone. I wonder what I would have done if there had been an emergency and I couldn't get in touch with someone at Gradcity?!!! These are the same people who said they would keep a close watch over our kids and be there for anything we needed! Needless to say, I am disputing the charges and I strongly urge anyone to think twice before booking with this group.

Wonderful Trip…Great Memories!

We recently returned from our Eisenhower Spring Break Trip to Punta Cana at the Hard Rock, that was organized by Grad City. We ALL LOVED our trip!

Debbie Birecki was AWESOME with us through out the whole process of the trip. Her communication, organization and quick follow-up to all of our questions and needs were much appreciated. The staff on site were AMAZING as well. Special call out to, Stacey and Kevin, who did a lot of extras to make our daughter feel special.

Highlights of our trip:
Our direct charter flight though grad city was easy, low stress and very convenient. We heard many others had huge issues with their transportation. The food at the Steakhouses were both VERY good, especially for an all-inclusive. The Mediterranean restaurant and Mexican restaraunt were great as well. We thought our room was extremely spacious and comfortable. The Bali Bed rental is a must do. That day was one of our favorites on the beach. The beaches are gorgeous and a lot of fun if you like playing in the waves. We really liked that there were MANY options for pools. There were crazy, fun pools and low key, quite ones. The fitness center was hands down, one of the BEST we have ever been to before. VERY spacious; LOTS of machines and the staff was very attentive. We also really enjoyed the spa. Relaxing, spacious and calming.

Thank you again Grad City for a wonderful experience for our family with MANY great memories.

Simply the Best! Unbelieveable experience! Everything from transportation, check in and the coordinated events went without a hitch. Can't say enough good things about the comfort level we had knowing that Debbie Birecki and the staff had everything under control. I would highly recommend Grad City to anyone who wants the perfect senior trip!
Thanks for all the hard work that you made look easy!!!! AAA+++

Punta Cana 2019 Trip
What a fun and well-organized trip to Punta Cana for my daughter鈥檚 Eisenhower Senior trip. From the moment we arrived to our departure, I was well informed and had fun with my daughter and her friends. The Hard Rock Hotel is beautiful. The beach was gorgeous (which I heard from many people prior to the trip that the beach was dirty and unsafe. This was not true at all) There was something to do morning, afternoon and night. The Grad City staff were helpful, responsive and friendly. I could find them at the lobby table and around the resort in their red shirts. I want to personally thank Debbie, as I had many questions about Punta Cana. Her guidance, suggestions and text messages made all the difference. I am so glad I booked with Grad City. I would book again and I would recommend to other parents and students.

Grad City is possibly one of the worst travel agencies I have ever dealt with. We recently completed a trip to Punta Cana Hard tock through Grad City. Our friends booked the same trip, directly through the resort and paid substantially less and received more 鈥渞esort credit鈥?
The property was open to the public, which was not disclosed to any of the parents in any meeting.
The security measures were sub par.
The hotel was without water for a day and no one in 2 buildings were able to shower or flush.
Our group was ill after eating there the second day. When the adults complained about the food and explained that we were sick. Grad City asked us if we had eaten 鈥渙ff property鈥?or even better, if we had had 鈥渢oo much to drink?鈥?br />
Not once was there any question or concern, nor were medical options or advice offered. They simply told us we could purchase Imodium at the gift shop.
As we sat in our rooms without water, vomiting and with diarrhea for days on end, not one Grad City staffer checked on any of us.
They were advised of our complaints and concerns and none were addressed.

Lastly, the resort was unaccomodating to any request. No extra pillows, no coke products, no dietary restrictions, no food was allowed to go back to the room in containers, room service is limited to less than 6 items. We saw roaches in restaurants, we had terrible service and were denied seating in restaurants with MANY open tables.

I have never been treated so poorly by a hotel chain and travel company before.
I do not recommend either Grad City nor Hard Rock.

We all came home with parasites and are being treated with antibiotics.

Not sure what they did for our HS spring break trip to Punta Cana in 2019.

Check in was a mess.

Restaurant reservations were nearly non existent on day one (even though most restaurants are 40-50% booked if you go in them).

Overall, I have been on many nice vacations where the travel partner added to the trip. Unfortunately, GradCity was not a value add. I would not use them to book any trip.

The worst trip experience of my life. Everything that they tell you is completely a lie. The other students and activities are a LIE. The workers are arrogant and act like they are too important or too busy to help you. Anything they promise as a reason to book a trip through them is not worth it. Or they did not do what was on the itinerary. You should plan a trip on your own because you will end up paying much more than the package price originally listed through Student City.
This company is the WORST company to entrust your children with. The first thing their representatives do is LIE to you and your children. They sell the kids on trips that are suppose to be the BEST trip they will ever have. They give information that kids would want to hear, but not what they NEED to hear. They don't tell the kids that the prices can change, they don't tell the kids that the trip is non refundable until after they have made their last payment. The transportation to excursions are YOU paying for an UBER and them paying you back in cash. Not good business, Very shady. The excursions on you trip are lies. I would NOT have paid any money for my son to go on a trip with GradCity. They will not refund my money or a portion of it, I will NEVER endorse this company because the way they operate is sleazy and manipulative. They are the worst company to allow your children to do business with.

I had the time of my life on my senior spring break and going with gradcity made it even better. One thing I liked most about going with gradcity is that I had access and a ride to great clubs in the city that people who didn't go through gradcity did not have.

I loved this trip! Being with my friends in PI, Bahamas for about a week with no obligations at all was amazing. The grad city events were extremely fun. The hotel was amazing. The services that Grad City provide were also great; they were very understanding of what a bunch of teenagers on spring break in the Bahamas wanted to do. Would highly recommend this trip to any of my friends.

We went to cancun last springbreak with grad city. The company was awesome. They were organized and had plenty of activities planned for our young adults. They did a great job keeping track of people and giving them their space too. I would recommend grad city for your springbreak tour company.
